Charity Treasurer

We are looking for a Treasurer to support the growth of a unique football coaching charity. You dont need to necessarily be experienced as a charity treasurer, but ideally we are looking for someone with accountancy experience. Please note you must be a UK resident in order to volunteer with us, and some potential travel to Stoke on Trent may be required (expenses paid). 

Pro Level Vision is the charity set up by two professional footballers, Tom Conlon (Oldham FC) and Nathan Smith (Port Vale FC). We raise money to support children who come from backgrounds where being able to access regular high quality football coaching falls out of reach. This shouldn’t just be for those small number of players who aspire to be the future professional footballers, but all can benefit from the technical, tactical and psychological work we do. Throughout the last few years, childhood has become even more difficult. Working with PLA we can provide an environment that grows confidence, resilience and leadership qualities, while being a place where every player can thrive and feel valued. 

This is where we are unique; it doesn’t matter if you are the best or the worst player in football. It doesn’t matter if you have been playing for years or you are just starting out. It’s our job to teach you and give you the skills and understanding of what to do so you can all improve. This is the difference to other professional academy coaching organisations. We give everyone the opportunity to receive elite style professional coaching regardless of their skill or ability.  

One of the unique things we do is we mix academy players and a player that’s just started out. This benefits the skill and ability of both. It teaches the academy player to be patient, supportive and become a teacher themselves and the other players can learn from the best players in the area.
