REMIX is a brand‑new, youth‑powered charity in London — bold, creative, community‑rooted and entirely volunteer‑run. We’re building programmes that tackle social mobility, boost wellbeing, grow confidence and create joyful spaces for young people to thrive.

THE ROLE: ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (TREASURER)

This is a foundational role — you’ll shape the financial heartbeat of REMIX from day one.

You’ll be our go‑to person for financial oversight, reporting and governance, ensuring we stay compliant, transparent and ready to scale. You’ll also serve as a key signatory on our charity bank account and work closely with our Governance/Trustee Board.

You’ll lead on:

• Financial systems setup — designing simple, streamlined processes that work for a start‑up charity.

• Policies & procedures — ensuring everything aligns with charity law and best practice.

• Quarterly financial reports — clear, accessible statements for our Governance/Trustee Board.

• Bank account oversight — acting as a trusted signatory and safeguarding our financial integrity.

• Monitoring & recording — keeping our finances organised, transparent and easy to understand.

• Treasurer duties — supporting governance, compliance and long‑term financial planning.

This is a role for someone who loves numbers, loves structure, and loves using their skills to create real community impact.

You might be an accountant, a finance student, a bookkeeper, or someone with strong financial experience who wants to give back.
