Someone who understands that operational excellence is an act of care. Someone who knows that behind every programme, every volunteer, every moment of impact, there must be clarity, coordination, and calm. Someone who can stand beside our Founder, CEO, and Chair as the second most senior volunteer — helping to shape, build, and run SUNSHINE Charity with heart and purpose.

As our Chief Operating Officer (Volunteer), you will help lead the creation of our systems, structures, and day‑to‑day operations. You’ll help turn our early ideas into a thriving, people‑centred organisation. You’ll help ensure SUNSHINE Charity grows with strength, integrity, and soul.

What you’ll lead or support

• Working closely with the Founder, CEO, and Chair to shape the charity’s operational strategy.

• Overseeing the setup and smooth running of all internal systems, processes, and procedures.

• Supporting the development and delivery of our pilot programmes.

• Ensuring our volunteers feel supported, equipped, and valued.

• Helping build a culture rooted in positivity, kindness, and uplifting energy.

• Coordinating across teams to ensure alignment, communication, and operational excellence.

• Playing a key role in risk management, safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance.

• Helping SUNSHINE Charity grow from a start‑up into a stable, impactful, community‑powered organisation.
