Help us give every volunteer the confidence and skills to shine.

SUNSHINE is a grassroots, volunteer‑powered charity creating joyful, welcoming spaces where no one stands alone. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do — and we want to give them the training and support they deserve.

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Lead to design and deliver a simple, engaging training programme that boosts volunteer confidence, builds skills and equips them to thrive in their roles.

What you’ll do

  • Identify training needs across our volunteer team

  • Source, design and develop training sessions and resources

  • Facilitate friendly, accessible workshops (online or in‑person)

  • Create a supportive learning environment where volunteers feel empowered

  • Help shape a culture of continuous learning and growth

This role is ideal for someone with experience in training, facilitation, HR, education or people development — or someone who simply loves helping others grow.
