Trustee (VOLUNTEER ROLE)

Do you have a heart of gold? We do, too. We need your wisdom and guidance.

Lockdown ended, but loneliness didn't. At SUNSHINE, we believe no one should feel alone. We're a brand-new start-up charity born from those tough times, and now we're building a community where everyone feels connected.

We’ve got the passion, but we need wise, caring leaders to help us make it happen. We're looking for three special people to become our first Trustees. This isn't just about governance; it's a chance to build something beautiful from the ground up and shape our future. You'll be part of a small, founding team, helping us set up and officially register SUNSHINE as a charity.

What you'll do:

• Pioneer our charity: Help us establish our foundations, from legal structure to strategic direction.

• Provide guidance: Use your experience to guide us through our first steps, ensuring we're strong and sustainable.

• Champion our mission: Help us spread the word and secure the support we need to grow.

• Build a culture: Work alongside us to create a compassionate, effective, and joyful organisation.

We're looking for people who:

• Are driven by kindness and a love for people.

• Have experience in governance, finance, law, or business development (but most of all, a passion for our cause).

• Are creative, empathetic, and excellent problem-solvers.

• Believe that kindness and connection can truly change the world.
