Our Founder is doing a fantastic job, but the demand for our work is growing fast, and we need an expert to help us build our team of dedicated volunteers. We call this The SUNSHINE Experience, and it’s about more than just giving your time, it’s about using your expertise to create a legacy.

We are seeking a Volunteer Recruiter who can take the lead in finding/recruiting our SUNSHINE changemakers. As a 100% volunteer charity, volunteers are our very heart of SUNSHINE. And we need a team of dedicated volunteers who can support us in various roles and help us get set up, and launched to make a huge impact in peoples lives who are facing loneliness and social isolation.

What You'll Be Doing:

This is a hands-on role with a huge impact on our future. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from attracting candidates to welcoming them into our community. Your duties will include:

• Creating and managing volunteer adverts on various platforms to generate a buzz and attract top talent.

• Reviewing applications and shortlisting candidates who fit our mission and values.

• Conducting phone or online interviews to assess a candidate's passion and suitability.

• Developing and leading the onboarding process, ensuring every new volunteer feels welcomed and fully prepared. Carrying out reference and DBS checks.

• Building a pipeline of future volunteers by proactively seeking out talented individuals and groups.

• Organising and leading recruitment events to showcase the SUNSHINE mission.
