Are you passionate about building connections, supporting communities, and making a meaningful impact? SUNSHINE—a soon-to-be registered charity dedicated to combating loneliness and fostering belonging—is looking for volunteers to help bring people together and brighten lives.

As a grassroots initiative, we're creating spaces—both digital and face-to-face—where individuals can find support, companionship, and joy. Whether you’re skilled in event planning, community engagement, digital facilitation, or simply love lending a helping hand, we’d love to have you on board!

How You Can Help

There are many ways to volunteer with SUNSHINE, including:

• Community Engagement & Outreach – Connect with individuals, encourage participation, and support those feeling isolated.

• Event Planning & Hosting – Help organise virtual or in-person activities that bring people together.

• Digital Support & Social Media – Assist with managing online communities, moderating discussions, managing our social media and promoting our initiatives.

• Creative Contributions – Contribute skills like content creation, storytelling, or graphic design to enhance our outreach.

• Behind The Scenes Volunteering - Contribute behind the scenes from management roles, fundraising, admin, finance, I.T., data management or other roles that are the core backbone of the charity.

• General Support – Provide assistance where needed, helping us grow and adapt as we evolve.
