Why am I needed?
We are in desperate need to be brought into the modern trends of Social Media, and we need your help!
Fancy getting more experience alongside your University Degree? Or have a passion for Social Media & Marketing, if that’s you, we are here to help you, and you can help us too!
This role will allow you to capture and produce content for our retail social media groups including reels and photos to promote interesting stock and volunteering opportunities.
You’ll use your own equipment in this role and already have the right skills to do a great job to produce the results and secure fab CV experience.
You will be guided by the Shop Manager and Deputy Manager, but also you will be working on your own innovative.
Our aim is to promote Tenovus Cancer Care shops, their products, and volunteering in the Cardiff area. This will writing fun and engaging social media posts and creating interesting reels. It will have meaning and long-lasting impact and be a fun project to be part of.
To be a success in this role, you will need a little knowledge, some digital equipment and a whole lot of passion and creative genius. Be able to put people at ease and get stuck in.
What will I be doing?
Your main duties will involve, but may not be limited to:
Connecting with our shop teams in Cardiff
Creating top class quality and usable digital content when it comes to promoting stock and volunteering opportunities
Speaking to people to identify great stories and content we can use in different ways to support our staff and volunteer messaging
Supporting campaigns
Being creative with your copy for social media posts
What skills and qualities do I need?
Being a friendly and approachable person
Welsh speaker is desirable but it’s not essential at all
A positive can-do attitude and willingness to get involved
Fab listening, verbal and written communication skills
Empathy and sensitivity in your approach
Knowledge of how to construct Social media posts and blogs
Attention to detail is vital
Open to constructive feedback and able to articulate your ideas with the ability to work professionally with others
Ability to put together and edit videos and content we can use for promotions
Ability to be a self-starter and manage your time and workload with minimal supervision
How much time do I need to commit?
How much or as little time as you can & want. This role is great for building skills and experience. If you are studying in University or have a job, we are flexible.
What support and training will I be given?
The Shop Manager/Deputy Shop Manager will be on hand for any questions

Where will I be based?
Home based with travel to shops around Cardiff. Access to own transport is preferable.
