Health & Safety Volunteer

When you join us as a volunteer, you’ll be part of a community of passionate people coming together to improve people’s lives and work towards our vision for a world free from the effects of MS. 

As one of our wonderful volunteers, you can get involved in:
• providing support and services to the MS community 
• increasing awareness of, and delivering resources to, people affected by MS   
• raising vital funds to help stop MS 
• boosting our community voice by advocating for MS research and policy 

Across the UK, our volunteer groups play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS, bringing people together and connecting our local MS communities.

As a Health and Safety Volunteer you’ll make sure all local group volunteers are aware of their health and safety responsibilities. You’ll help them understand and follow guidelines and procedures to coordinate safe activities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring that everyone in the group is aware of health and safety responsibilities 
• Accurately following and implementing our risk management procedures for activities and services provided by the group 
• Ensuring that the group meets and reports on our health and safety requirements, assisting with audits and reviews as required 
• Supporting the group’s shared responsibility for designing and delivering services and activities
