Join the Board of Trustees Two Trustee Positions Available

Location: England (meetings held in-person and online) 

Remuneration: Voluntary (reasonable expenses reimbursed) 

Time Commitment: Approximately 1 day per month 

Are you passionate about education, creativity, and innovation? Do you want to help shape the future of design and technology (D&T) in schools across England?

The Design and Technology Association, the leading national charity in the UK dedicated to promoting and supporting the teaching of D&T in schools, is seeking two new Trustees to join our Board.

We are looking for individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Media and communications.
• Engineering and technology.
• Design, and creative industries.
• Networking and stakeholder engagement.

We are especially keen to hear from candidates who:

• Bring fresh perspectives and lived experiences from all genders, ethnically diverse and underrepresented communities.
• Are committed to inclusive education and equity of opportunity.
• Can help us broaden our reach and deepen our impact across schools, industry, and society.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of the Association, ensuring good governance, and championing the value of D&T education in preparing children and young people for the future.
