Urban Youth – Volunteer Training Coordinator Wanted

Help us make sure every volunteer at Urban Youth feels skilled, confident, supported — and ready to make a real difference.

We’re so excited to be launching Urban Youth — a brand new London youth work charity created to give young people experiences, opportunities, and the space to discover themselves and the world around them. This is a youth community built on care, creativity, belonging and real connection… and now we’re looking for someone special to help shape the way our volunteers learn, grow and thrive.

We’re searching for our first amazing Training Coordinator — someone who loves people, loves development, and loves being part of a community where everyone is growing together.

This isn’t a dry, corporate training role. It’s creative, hands‑on, and full of heart. You’ll be helping us build the training, support and development pathways that will define Urban Youth from day one.

What you’ll be helping us create

With our volunteers and team, you’ll help us build:

• training that feels practical, empowering, and genuinely useful.

• sessions that help volunteers feel confident, skilled and ready for their roles.

• a small team of Trainers who feel supported, coordinated and inspired.

• development pathways that help volunteers grow their skills over time.

• simple systems that make training easy to access and easy to deliver.

This is more than a volunteer role — it’s a chance to help shape a movement that supports both young people and the volunteers who give their time to them.

Who we’re looking for

Someone who:

• loves helping people grow, learn and feel confident.

• enjoys designing or delivering training, workshops or learning experiences.

• can coordinate and support a small team of Trainers.

• understands how to make training feel welcoming, accessible and not overwhelming.

• can turn ideas into sessions that actually work in real life.

• wants to use their skills to make a real difference in London.
