VSS (Virtual Soccer Schools) promotes positive societal change amongst the disadvantaged youth, communities and organisations globally by connecting elite professional football players, managers, coaches to focus on mental health and well-being themes to empower, inspire and educate the next generation using virtual communication platforms.

VSS (Virtual Soccer Schools) is a UK based charity that has revolutionized the way professional athletes impact lives by connecting football stars with children, communities, and organizations worldwide through cutting-edge virtual communication platforms. Founded in January 2021 by Tom Lamb and driven by Tim Ream (Charlotte FC / USMNT) as our Global Athlete Liaison and Mental Health & Well-Being Advocate, VSS has already made an extraordinary impact. 

In the past few years, we have reached over 70,000 attendees (aged 11 – 18) delivering 180+ events spanning 70+ countries across 6 continents, involving over 50+ elite footballers. Our initiatives focus on mental health and well-being, empowering, inspiring, and educating the next generation.

Position Overview: 

VSS (Virtual Soccer Schools) is looking for a passionate and proactive Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to identify funding opportunities and craft compelling proposals. This critical role supports our mission to empower the next generation through innovative programs that connect football and mental health.

This part-time volunteer position requires approximately half a day per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

 Key Responsibilities:

1.  Research and identify grants, sponsorships, and donor opportunities.

2. Create, edit, and submit compelling funding proposals and applications.

3. Collaborate with the VSS team to align fundraising initiatives with organizational goals.

4. Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding organizations.
