LinkedIn Content and Community Manager
About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive volunteer to support the management and growth of our CoachActivism LinkedIn presence. This role focuses on maintaining a consistent posting rhythm, improving content quality, and increasing engagement with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Planning
- Collaborate on creating a simple, consistent content plan
- Help identify relevant topics, themes, and messaging
- Plan for a sustainable cadence (starting with 1 post per week)
2. Content Scheduling & Posting
- Schedule and publish LinkedIn posts based on the agreed content plan
- Ensure posts are formatted clearly and consistently
- Maintain a regular posting cadence (1 post per week to start)
3. Content Optimization
- Edit and refine posts for clarity, tone, and engagement
- Improve hooks, structure, and readability
- Ensure alignment with CoachActivism voice and messaging
4. Engagement & Community Interaction
- Monitor comments and messages on the LinkedIn page
- Respond or flag relevant interactions for the team
- Engage with relevant content and communities to increase visibility
5. Performance Tracking & Insights
- Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth)
- Share simple insights and suggestions for improvement
- Help identify what content resonates most with the audience
Skills & Experience Required:
- Familiarity with LinkedIn
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Basic understanding of social media engagement
Nice to Have:
- Experience managing LinkedIn pages or social media accounts
- Understanding of content strategy or personal branding
- Interest in coaching, social impact, or community-building
- Background in humanitarian aid and international development
Time Commitment
- Estimated total: 2-3hrs/week
- Flexible schedule
- Content cadence: 1 post per week at the beginning
- Optional weekly check-ins (15–30 minutes)
