The role
Build Suru's initial voice and turn it into real growth, including signups, active users, and paying subscribers. You'd own our social presence from zero, shaping how we show up and reaching the journalists who need this.
What you'd do
- Set up and run our presence on the channels journalists actually use (Bluesky, LinkedIn, X)
- Create a simple, repeatable content rhythm covering product, mission, and the state of local news
- Engage the independent journalism community to drive signups and convert them into active users and subscribers
- Leave us a lightweight content calendar we can keep running after the role ends
