We are looking to recruit a Support Volunteer for the North Staffordshire Group. As our local group Support Volunteer you’ll help people affected by MS find information about local and national services. In this role you’ll be able to develop your listening and communication skills, as well as your knowledge of local services. Most importantly you’ll help people affected by MS to access the help they need.

Time commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

We will be holding at least 2 interview sessions in October and November.

Youth Leaders work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By organising a mixed weekly programme, this role will support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. We are seeking a skilled volunteer with experience in designing and securing CPD-accredited training to help us achieve and maintain accreditation for this vital programme.

This is a key role that will directly contribute to ensuring our training is recognised, professional, and impactful across healthcare.

Work with the Project Lead to design and refine training materials for CPD accreditation.

Supporting the Advice Supervisor, giving a warm and friendly greet to visitors to our services, identify what help is needed, direct people to information and self-help resources, book appointments and take enquiries.
