• Be part of a team with collection/buckets tins at events, supermarkets, shopping centres, etc.
• Acting as a marshal at a public event e.g., handing out water to runners, supervising parking etc.
• Being part of a team running a stall at an event, Armed Forces Day, fayre, county show etc.
• Helping with putting up posters, building gazebos, serving refreshments, packing/unpacking cars etc.
• Being a positive ambassador for SSAFA, engaging people of all backgrounds and interests
• Volunteering within the standards and values of SSAFA including observing our policies such as the Volunteering policy and data protection policy (these will be covered in your training and local induction.)

The remit of this role may change over the next 12-18 months depending on the outcome of a trial currently being undertaken.

• Be part of a team with collection/buckets tins at events, supermarkets, shopping centres, etc.
• Acting as a marshal at a public event e.g., handing out water to runners, supervising parking etc.

The remit of this role may change over the next 12-18 months depending on the outcome of a trial currently being undertaken.

About the role

As a Trustee, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our vision, values, and strategic direction, developing our aims, objectives, and goals. This is a voluntary role (unpaid), but reasonable expenses can be claimed for travel to attend meetings in person.

Time Commitment: up to one day a month on average, comprised of preparation for and attending meetings, away days and Trust related activities

Sick, injured and homeless pets have relied on Blue Cross for help since 1897. Each year, thousands of dogs, cats, small pets and horses turn to the charity’s animal hospitals, clinics and rehoming services for treatment and support.

We would love you to join us and help us help more pets in need. Our centres, hospitals and shops are much loved and at the heart of their communities. Our Fundraising Team help us to promote and raise money for their team at at local events and those being held on site. MS Walk Belfast is back again this year and we are looking for an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2025 bigger and better than ever.

The 2025 event will have around 200 participants who will be walking through Belfast on either the 1km, 5km or 10km route.

Together these walkers will be hoping to raise over £20,000 for the MS Society to help support the MS Community.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, looking after the course and handing out water, snacks and medals.

Join our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS.

This role is only required on Saturday 7th June 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-6 hours depending on role and location.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Fundraising to lead and develop our fundraising strategy at a crucial time in Youth Advantage UK's growth. As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital part, in organising and assisting with our fundraising activities. All the proceeds from these activities go directly towards the essential animal welfare work that we do at branch level.

The RSPCA OXFORSHIRE Branch

The OXFORDSHIRE Branch was founded int 1875 we have been saving animals for over 150 years and are proud to be one of the oldest welfare charity around. It has always been our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion, so our volunteers and employees work tirelessly to ensure that all animals can live free from pain and suffering.

Through our numerous campaigns, we seek to raise standards of care, and awareness of issues, affecting animals today. We rely heavily on our volunteers who play a significant role in enabling us to carry out this important animal welfare work every day!

The OXFORDSHIRE Branch is one of the branches of RSPCA, but we are also a separately registered charity looking after animals in our local area. Much of the animal welfare work of RSPCA is carried out through local branches, which is run by our Operations Manager and a team of fantastic volunteers who have the support of the National Society of RSPCA.

Fundraising Volunteer responsibilities

· Organise, advertise, and promote fundraising activities to raise vital funds to improve animal welfare.

· Plan and participate in organised events for fundraising over an agreed period.

· Communicate all planned activities with staff and other volunteers.

· Work alongside other volunteers, staff, and members of the public, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

· Ensure best practice in fundraising and that it is legally compliant.
