As Digital Support Services Officer, you’ll help ensure that people affected by blood cancer can access reliable information and peer support through a range of digital platforms. You’ll lead the day-to-day running of our online community forum, support and coordinate volunteers, and work across teams to help develop and improve our support offer. About the Role

As Advice Manager, you’ll take a strategic lead on developing our advice service to ensure it is accessible and high-quality, and also actively challenge the root causes of inequality. About the role

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Engagement team as our Campaigns Manager. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week. This role will a hybrid position working between home and our office in King's Cross, London, with a minimum of 2 office days a week.

1. Group Development and Coordination
● Coordinate and facilitate monthly volunteer meetings at the Pollards Hill Wellbeing Studio.

● Support volunteers with soft and technical skills development on their path to becoming Community Changemakers.
● Encourage retention and progression of existing volunteers whilst increasing group membership from 15 to 30.
● Liaise with Moat Foundation officer and project tutors to establish a pathway into volunteering and increasing membership of the WeRPollards group
● Work with colleagues at Sustainable Merton to align this grass roots work with their borough wide initiatives such as Merton Garden Streets, Mitcham Community Orchard, Repair Cafes, Preloved Studio and Merton’s Community Fridge.

2. Community Engagement
● In partnership with Pollards Hill Wellbeing Studio team, develop and implement a local engagement strategy to recruit and retain volunteers to become WeRPollards Community Changemakers.
● Design and deliver an induction and training programme for new volunteers.
● In collaboration with the PH Wellbeing Studio team conduct regular listening sessions to identify resident needs, interests and connect volunteers to, or help them develop, relevant community activities.
3. Project and Event Delivery
● Lead the volunteer group to plan and deliver community activities aligned with the 3R’s agenda, that are run out of the Wellbeing Studio, including:
○ Sewing Skills Workshops (Monthly, 10 sessions)

In this newly created role, you’ll help strengthen our Global Selection Programme (GSP), with a particular focus on volunteer engagement and clear, effective communication. You’ll also play a vital role in developing an alternative admissions pathway for students who currently face barriers to applying—expanding access to a transformative education.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, talented, resourceful, emotionally intelligent and hardworking Senior Finance Manager to manage finance and governance across our international office in London and our Retreat Centre based in Bonnevaux. Working with the Executive Director and Trustees, and with the support of a small, dedicated team, you will lead on WCCM’s financial strategy and planning, ensuring compliance with statutory and non-statutory bodies, working to maximise income and automate processes. You will also have responsibility for core organisational support functions such as HR, GDPR and Health and Safety. You will have significant experience in finance roles, with knowledge and experience of UK charity finance, and operational support functions. Occasional trips to France. Interest in Christian Meditation/Spirituality an advantage.

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. You will also be responsible for the management of our volunteer team and the exciting projects they undertake.

This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. We also work to get services right for the future.

You’ll also be representing our organisation at network meetings across all the various Health and Social Care providers, charity partners and patient groups across North East London.

Role purpose

Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives.
