About Us
Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). Our mission is to help these individuals rebuild their lives, access support, and integrate fully into British society.
We have recently been awarded new funding under the Communities for Afghans (CfA) Phase 2 programme. This funding allows us to expand our work supporting Afghan families through Sponsor Groups, which is why we are growing our team to ensure we can provide high-quality support to all participants.
About the Role
You will ensure all safeguarding, vetting, and compliance processes are followed for staff, volunteers, and Sponsor Groups. This includes managing DBS checks, monitoring adherence to safeguarding policies, providing guidance and training, and supporting investigations if required.
We are looking for someone who is vigilant, experienced in safeguarding, and confident in implementing best-practice policies.

The Role
This is an exciting time to join FareShare as we enter a period of expansion. This successful applicant will co-ordinate the day-to-day operations, oversee and support a team of volunteers and ensure the ongoing success of the FareShare Southern Central food warehouse in Southampton. This will involve working closely with warehouse colleagues and volunteers to ensure that all operational activities are completed to the agreed timetable and to the food safety standards set out in the FareShare operating manual. Main Areas of Responsibility
Operations
Work as a team with the Warehouse Manager, Deputy Warehouse Manager colleagues and volunteers to ensure all shifts are adequately planned, supervised and meet operational needs.
Responsible for organising food distribution using the FareShare food management systems.
Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities.
Ensuring all key activities and milestones per shift are met.
Work with the Warehouse Manager to develop new operational processes as required and take an active role in their implementation.
To carry out any other duties which may be necessary.
Health & Safety
Be responsible for the Health & Safety and security of FareShare Southern Central buildings, vehicles, staff and volunteers.
Carry out & update risk assessments as defined by the FareShare operating manual and complete risk assessments for all new activity as required.
Ensure compliance with all FareShare policies and procedures and industry standards as required by food donors and regulators.
To ensure that the vans used by FareShare Southern Central are roadworthy and legal (taxed and insured) and to ensure there is payment of appropriate charges
Support the development of relevant policies and procedures for FareShare and to ensure that all staff, volunteers, food suppliers, charities and visitors adhere to them as appropriate
To comply with monitoring and evaluation systems as required for the Regional Centre’s activities and report regularly to the Warehouse Manager as required
Operating Hours and Shift Pattern
Position will be 7am to 3pm/ 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.
Flexibility to provide cover for planned and ad-hoc absences as well as Public and Bank Holidays is highly desirable in this role and also offers the opportunity for additional hours to supplement the core hours.

Job Purpose:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Centre provision to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs) that are identified as the most need of support or have emerging needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management of the implementation of the Surrey County Council Families First specification for Family Centres and Family Resilience Support provision.
- To monitor the Manager’s in-tray, triage referrals, ensure contact with families providing management oversight and comply with all elements of Early Help Module (EHM) Practice standards for Child Records – Family Centres and Family Support Programme guidance.

The Income Generation and Communications team currently raises £5 million a year to support the work of Bolton Hospice. Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. We not only take care of patients' physical needs, but we also consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And we support families and close friends, both during illness and in bereavement.
We care for patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We also provide compassionate, dedicated and dignified care for patients at the end of their life. As our services and reach increase, so does our income target, so the successful candidate will build on our previous fundraising success and ultimately help us reach more of the people in Bolton who need us.
The Role:
You will act as the first point of contact for individuals, groups who are fundraising on the hospice’s behalf, providing information, support and advice and delivering excellent supporter care.
You will be responsible for maximising participation in community fundraising activities through effective promotion of the wide range of opportunities to organise events and raise funds on the hospice’s behalf including the planning and delivery of community-based mass participation events such as the Bolton Hospice Reindeer Run.
You will inspire support and help raise the profile of the work of the hospice from community groups, associations, companies and schools by providing talks and presentations about the organisation.
Developing new and existing relationships, networking and identifying and approaching potential supporters is key to the role.
What you need:
You’ll need to be creative and flexible in order to continually adapt to the changing fundraising climate and evolve the hospice’s fundraising appeals programme as necessary.
It is a busy role, and no two days are the same, so you’ll be highly organised in order to develop thorough plans, juggle competing priorities and problem solve effectively.
You will be an inspiring and enthusiastic communicator and relationship-builder and be passionate about providing excellent supporter care. You’ll be able to use your talents to negotiate and influence stakeholders when required.
Proactive and dynamic, you’ll be able to manage an ongoing calendar of appeals whilst constantly looking to develop new fundraising initiatives. Experience of working for a charity would be an advantage, but not essential.

Are you passionate about supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives? Can you coordinate volunteers, who are the lifeblood of SHARe Knowsley?
You will be joining a dedicated team of 9 staff and over 40 volunteers, working for a well-respected grassroots charity. As individuals and an organisation, we are committed to welcoming, supporting and empowering refugees and people seeking asylum who live in the borough of Knowsley.
This role will require you to enjoy communicating with new and existing volunteers and have good organizational skills. You will also support the wider organization – especially the casework and community work, so an awareness of this is helpful.
The post is currently 3 days/week, with the opportunity to work flexibly across the week, but would require work on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Please read on to get an idea of the role and who we are looking for.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this post is to support an established team of volunteers and recruit and train new volunteers. It is a role that will ensure volunteers remain up to date with training and abreast of information important to giving clear support to refugees and people seeking asylum. (The percentages in brackets give and estimated distribution of time spent in each area).
1. Provide support for volunteers (15%)
- Ensure regular and effective communication with volunteers via a variety of methods: e-mail, letters, newsletters, meetings, telephone, etc.
- Provide volunteers with on-going training and development opportunities
- Ensure volunteers have periodic project review meetings, as well as appropriate social activities
2. Coordinating volunteer activities (25%)
- To have oversight of volunteers at drop in/ English classes ensuring (i. volunteers are available; ii. resources are available at site (e.g. food or clothes for drop in))
- Outreach volunteering such as befriending
- Back office volunteering (e.g. clothes sorting, admin)
- Ensuring that volunteers have appropriate roles and ways to progress
- Respond to any issues that arise that might then require training or reorganising of practices/policy
3. Recruit and train new volunteers (15%)
- Development of volunteer roles and opportunities in response to volunteer, staff and client feedback
- Co-ordinate the advertising, recruitment and assessment processes to ensure equality of access to volunteer roles
- Provide induction training for all volunteers to enable to fulfil their role (including health, safety and safeguarding)
- Ensure that volunteers understand the purpose, importance and process of data collection, case recording and monitoring systems and that they use them effectively where and as appropriate
4. Ensure quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (10%)
- To develop and maintain volunteer policies and procedures in line with best practice (e.g. Investing in Volunteers)
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant and recognised best practice guidelines, policy requirements, employment law and quality standards in relation to volunteering input and management
- Co-ordinate specific client well-being events on a regular basis, engaging volunteers and other staff to support event development, organisation and delivery
- Maintain written accurate records on volunteer details and activity and other information as required, providing written and verbal reports as required
5. Additional duties relating to post (10%)
- Deliver and arrange access to training for team colleagues in relation to the above, where required
- With the CEO ensure that volunteers operate at all times within the principles of impartiality and confidentiality, in accordance with SHARe Knowsley’s vision, values, principles, policies and procedures
- Engage in relevant external meetings/ networks/ forums as agreed with the line manager
6. For SHARe Knowsley (10%)
- Actively participate in supervision and appraisal, review and planning sessions, team meetings, working groups and staff conferences and other meetings
- Carry out administrative duties associated with the post as required
- Work within SHARe Knowsley’s policies, procedures, guidelines and other agreed documents

It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and build our Community and Events fundraising. We need a creative and enthusiastic individual to build a key audience of supporters dedicated to the difference Youth Options makes to
