Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR) Support Volunteer - role is in Cheshire West

People in care homes should have a voice to communicate their needs wishes and wants. Some people need support with this, but don’t have friends and family available to assist them.  This means they’re entitled to have support from an RPR and volunteer, who are there to make sure they get the care they deserve.  Your role as an RPR Support Volunteer is to collaborate with the VoiceAbility RPR to make sure a person’s views are listened to when decisions are made about their care.

As an RPR Support Volunteer you might:

· Visit people in their care home, to make sure they’re getting the right care and support

· Talk with them about their feelings, thoughts and wishes

· Raise concerns

· Keep detailed notes and records

· Make a real difference to someone’s life

All volunteering will take place Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00.  You will need to be over 18 years old and be living in the UK. Please note that there is no opportunity to volunteer at weekends or in the evening.

Looking for a way to give back to your local community without a long-term commitment? Not sure exactly what you’d like to do, but know you want to help?

Sometimes we come across one-off community tasks that just need a few volunteers to give us a good old Yorkshire helping hand. We also know life can get very busy and people don’t always have time to commit to a regular volunteering role.

Being a Community Squad volunteer is a flexible way to get involved. You’ll find out when and where one-off tasks are happening near you, and you can choose to help whenever it suits. There’s no ongoing commitment, you’re in control.

As a Squad volunteer, you’ll regularly receive updates about opportunities across Yorkshire. There’s no obligation to sign up for any of them, but if something catches your eye, just put your name forward. We’ll send you all the details you need, and you simply turn up on the day!

Tasks vary widely, so there’s something for everyone. You might help at a community clean-up, plant spring bulbs, hand out leaflets, put out grit or clear a path when it’s snowed for a neighbour. Or you could be handing out popcorn at a cinema event, making cups of tea at a social club, supporting someone with their digital devices, creating glitter tattoos at a children’s event, or writing letters to customers who are isolated.

There will be lots of varied things to help with!

FabWoman provides high-quality, inspirational content that bridges the information gap in business, wellness, and leadership. Beyond media, the platform focuses on community engagement and advocacy campaigns, building a robust network that encourages connections among women. By combining technology with strategic brand partnerships, FabWoman creates a scalable ecosystem where women are educated, represented, and supported in every facet of their lives.

Email Marketing Specialist

• Develop email campaigns. Create and manage engaging email marketing campaigns tailored to specific customer segments and company initiatives.
• Optimizing content. Write compelling email content and craft attention-grabbing subject lines to boost open and engagement rates.
• Managing email lists. Build and maintain clean, compliant email databases, ensuring segmentation for targeted messaging.
• A/B testing. Conduct A/B testing to analyze the effectiveness of email components such as design, messaging, and timing.
• Monitoring performance metrics. Track and report on campaign performance metrics like conversion rates, deliverability, and subscriber engagement.

Skills needed:

• Experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Brevo, etc), CRM software, and automation software and tools.
• Ability to interpret data, monitor metrics, and use actionable insights to improve campaigns.
• Knowledge of graphic design, HTML, and CSS for creating polished, functional emails.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and effective messaging.

The Alice Ruggles Trust is looking for 3 new Trustees in total, one of whom will act as the Treasurer.

The Alice Ruggles Trust is an organisation set-up by the parents of Alice Ruggles following her murder by her stalker. The charitys mission is to prevent what happened to Alice from happening to others and to bring stalking to an end.

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Alice Ruggles Trust achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that Alice Ruggles Trust has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable Alice Ruggles Trust to grow and thrive, and through this, achieve our mission.

We’re looking for an exceptional individual to become our next Chair of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an influential charity at the centre of international student policy and practice, helping to shape the future of international student experience in the UK at a critical time for the UK’s international education policy. 

UKCISA is the UK’s national body supporting international students and the professionals who work with them. Our expert advice, guidance, training and advocacy helps to ensure that every international student studying in the UK has the best possible experience. As Chair, you will guide a committed Board of Trustees, ensuring strong governance and effective decision-making. You will work closely with the Chief Executive to set UKCISA’s strategic direction, safeguarding its mission and ensuring it continues to innovate and deliver value for members and students. 

You will be a prominent ambassador for UKCISA, representing the organisation externally and building relationships with sector leaders, government, and partner organisations. Your leadership will help ensure that the perspectives of international students are reflected in policy development at a government and institutional level. 

We are looking for an experienced charity trustee with executive leadership experience in the UK education sector. You will bring credibility, vision, and a commitment to international education, inspire confidence and command respect across our stakeholders, and lead with integrity and compassion. You will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team of staff and trustees, passionate about the international student experience and the objectives of our organisation.

• Remuneration: Voluntary (reasonable expenses reimbursed) 

• Location: UK-based, with travel to meetings and events. 

• Time Commitment: Four Board meetings per year (plus preparation), regular meetings with the Chief Executive, and representing UKCISA at external events. 

• Term: Three years, renewable for two more terms plus one year. Starting summer 2026.
