What we’re looking for:

· Someone with a successful track record of building strong internal and external relationships and generating income ideally from community and corporate opportunities

This role would be focusing mainly on the West of Scotland but covering the whole country as needed, with some additional supporters based in Northern Ireland.

A Deputy Contract Manager is to support the Area Service Manager who is responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff.

What you'll do:

About the Youth Endowment Fund

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. 

Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.

The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

Deciding which projects, we should fund and evaluate is key, as is making sure we deliver our funding and evaluations to the highest standards. Our Programme Managers are responsible for identifying, assessing, funding and supporting programmes designed to prevent youth violence.

Programme Managers at YEF come from all walks of life. We look for individuals who may have experience in the youth sector, children’s social care, policing, criminal justice, education or how to involve local residents in making decisions about their own neighbourhoods.

As a Programme Manager at YEF, you will work very closely with our evaluation team to make sure we learn from what’s being implemented and that the organisations we fund are prepared and excited to work with us to find what works.

To achieve this, you will:

· Make sure we choose the best organisations to work with by assessing funding applications, critically appraising delivery plans and budgets, getting to know potential grantees and conducting site visits. These assessments will help you form recommendations to our senior leadership team about which opportunities to pursue.

· Work closely with grantees, external evaluators and our own evaluation team to ensure that the activity we are funding will be evaluable. This requires you to support and advise grantees on how to work in the context of an evaluation – usually, a randomised trial (you don’t have to have experience working on a randomised trial in the past, but it helps!).

· Build strong relationships with our grantees and provide them with ongoing management and support through the life of their funding. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of grantees and ensuring targets are met and any project risks are effectively mitigated.

· Think carefully about how we find the best projects to fund and evaluate, ensuring we can best find what works to keep children safe. To do this you might need to work with colleagues to spot where there has previously been a lack of evidence about what works (we will help you with this!). You would project manage these projects so they are excellently delivered – on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will help to determine what our commissioning processes aim to achieve and design grant application processes to achieve it.

· You’ll manage our engagement with potential grantees to make sure we are attracting a diverse and promising portfolio of organisations to apply.

· Report to our team and external stakeholders regularly on how well the projects we are funding are going, spotting where grantees need support and coming up with how we can best provide that support.

· Represent the Youth Endowment Fund at external events, including reporting and presenting to our Grants and Evaluation Committee, who approve all our funding decisions.

About You

The Diocese of Rochester is committed to equipping its churches and leaders for growth and transformation. As part of this, we are seeking a Missional Development Parishes (MDP) Project Manager to join our Programme Team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.

The MDP Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of 15 strategically funded parish projects supported by the National Church. Working with the Head of Programmes, Diocesan colleagues, and parish representatives, the Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting processes across the MDP project. This role will be vital in supporting parish leaders and PCCs to lead and deliver their local MDP initiatives effectively.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and highly organised project manager, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage risk, track project outcomes, and support change across a variety of contexts. A background in monitoring and evaluation is important, and a desire to serve the mission of the Church will be key to thriving in this role. Experience of working with Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.

We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Events Manager. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Events Manager will develop an events programme that delivers excellent supporter-care to all fundraisers and supporters taking part in an event or organising their own activities, maximising income from these fundraising streams. Harnessing current supporters and leading the growth of our existing network of community and event supporters is key to this role, with a focus on developing pro-active individuals, corporates and groups wanting to engage with and support events. The role will be hands on, focused on operational delivery, supporting crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• A track record in managing and delivering fundraising events, including participant cultivation and stewardship. 
• Evidence of developing supporter-care processes to increase engagement. 
• Experience of the practical application of the Fundraising Regulator, Gift Aid and Data Protection legislation. 
• Experience working with volunteers would be beneficial. 

Excellent communication and relationship building skills and an ability to interact with prospects and partners at all levels will be key.

St Bride Foundation (SBF) is seeking a Collections and Archives Manager with strong project management and collections management skills to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of our library and archive collections. The Collections and Archives Manager will manage the smooth running of the Reading Room, library enquiry services and manage our library volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

Access, Research & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support public and internal access to collection materials by providing research services and developing user-friendly finding aids.
• Collaborate with researchers, educators and community groups to enhance the impact of the collections.
• Improve discovery and accessibility of collections through database enhancements and digitisation efforts.

Project Management – Collection

• Manage the care, storage, and documentation of the Foundations collection, including developing and implementing policies and procedures for such projects as inventory audits, collection moves, exhibitions, loans and rationalisation projects.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday). Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

The team is strategically and collaboratively managed by Learning and Development Managers (LDMs), each having responsibility for a number of Learning and Development Officers (LDO) working within a geographical area. Philanthropy Manager (Mid-level)

We are recruiting for a Philanthropy Manager for our client a Christian Faith based Charity to join the team in this hybrid working role.

This is an exciting time to join the Partnerships Team and the organisation as they seek to expand their reach and impact.

Position: Philanthropy Manager (Mid-level)
Location: Fleet, Hampshire / Hybrid (minimum 40% in-office)
Salary: £39,900 per annum
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

The Job:

You will co-lead the mid-level donor fundraising programme, building meaningful relationships that inspire increased giving and long-term engagement. Working closely with the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships, you will help shape a strategy that ensures gold-standard stewardship and long-term growth.

• Co-lead the cultivation and retention of mid-level donors using email, phone, meetings and events.
• Shape and deliver strategies to acquire and engage donors, generating sustainable income.
• Ensure exceptional donor stewardship with accurate record keeping and tailored communications.
• Develop compelling content including thank-you letters, newsletters, and proofing impact reports.
• Collaborate across departments, including Marketing and Finance, to deliver donor-focused initiatives.
• Represent the Philanthropy team in cross-functional working and advocate for mid-level giving.
• Maintain an understanding of sector trends, applying insight to refine fundraising approaches.

About You

This Charity are seeking a passionate and relational fundraiser, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and grow donor portfolios effectively.

• Experience building trusted relationships with donors or customers in a fundraising or business development context.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to prioritise workload, work to deadlines and manage a donor caseload effectively.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud) and Microsoft Office tools.
• A proactive and empathetic approach, with high emotional intelligence and resilience.
• A genuine commitment to the mission of releasing children from poverty
• A personal Christian faith, and willingness to uphold The Charity’s UK’s Christian ethos, values and Statement of Faith.
