About Victory Afghanistan

Victory Afghanistan is a grassroots charity registered in Chicago as a US 501c3. We are entirely volunteer led and currently provide free, high quality online education and mentoring to more than 800 girls and young women in Afghanistan. In a country where gender apartheid has barred them from secondary school, university and careers, we are determined to keep education alive.

Our programme delivers six levels of English instruction through our online academy, followed by three mentoring pathways which lead to online scholarships, international scholarships and career readiness for remote work. We are powered by over 100 volunteers from 27 countries who bring their skills, energy and compassion to this mission.

The Opportunity

We are now seeking several Volunteer Project Managers – Fundraising to join our international team from now until November 2025.

This is a chance to take on a leadership role in a fast moving and values driven organisation. You will support Afghan project coordinators who are already active in fundraising and help us build partnerships and resources for the future.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in project work or fundraising (charity or nonprofit background is an advantage but not required)

• Confidence and initiative, with the courage to reach out to potential donors, benefactors and partners

• Willingness to contribute around six hours per week on a flexible and fully remote basis

• Open mindedness and creativity – while experience is welcome, we also value fresh ideas and

• Lead and mentor small teams of Afghan project coordinators who are engaged in fundraising

• Help shape proposals, research and outreach strategies

• Take ownership of one of the following initiatives:

• Providing 800 laptops for students

• Covering internet data costs for 800 students each semester

• Supporting core staff and operational costs

• Expanding our student mental health fund

• Developing our Scotland initiative for higher education abroad

• Building a Higher Education Fund for international study opportunities

MINDSET Charity

Empowering Men Through Mental Wellbeing and Personal Growth

At MS Society all our activities and services are shaped by our MS community – people affected by MS, volunteers, staff and other experts. We aim to raise as much awareness as possible about MS, to ensure that people with MS have the support and information they need.

We've been successful in securing funding from Wales and West Utilities for a 'test and learn' Community Connections project (covering Wales and the South West of England) which will run until March 2026. 

Community Connections aims to: 

• Connect people with, and affected by, MS across Wales and the South West of England (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire) with services, activities and resources to enable them to live well with MS.
• Develop links with local service providers which enable people with, and affected by, MS to access support and activities in their local areas, whilst improving connections within the community
• Provide information and guidance on a range of subjects, including advice about finances, cost of living-related information, energy efficiency information, carbon monoxide awareness and the Priority Service Register. 

As part of the project, we’re looking for volunteers to deliver MS Awareness sessions to partner organisations that the project will signpost to (such as Citizens Advice Bureau). MS Awareness volunteers will help us to ensure that these partner organisations are equipped to support people with MS (who will be accessing their activities and services). To help people to understand how people with MS feel.

Here’s an overview of what will be involved - 

• Delivering talks (via Zoom/Teams) to organisations to increase their understanding of MS and its symptoms. 

• Signposting to the relevant MS Society team for further information and practical support, as required.

• Note taking and helping us understand how effective sessions were 

• Attending regular volunteer support groups, where you will debrief and share experiences with other volunteers, as well as receive support from your supervisor.

We will support you to develop the skills you need for this role which will include an induction into all the areas outlined. You will have a chance to discuss your role and any additional needs you may have with us.

Obuyisi bw’Omu Initiative 

Obuyisi bw’Omu Initiative empowers underserved communities in Uganda—particularly women, youth, and children—through grassroots action, advocacy, and partnerships. It addresses key challenges including limited mental health support, poor water and sanitation, barriers to quality education, and the impacts of climate change. Programs create safe spaces for mental health awareness, improve clean water access and hygiene, and provide educational resources and mentorship to promote inclusive learning. Climate action efforts involve tree planting, conservation, and sustainable practices. By fostering community ownership and engaging volunteers, Obuyisi bw’Omu drives practical, sustainable solutions that enhance well-being and resilience for lasting positive change.

Marketer

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

Role Description: We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Marketer to help promote our initiatives, increase visibility, and engage our target audience. As a remote marketer, you will play a vital role in developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen our presence online and offline. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on marketing experience, showcase their skills, and contribute to meaningful projects while working flexibly from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Promotion – Develop engaging content (social media posts, email campaigns, blogs, etc.) to raise awareness about our mission and activities. Social Media Management – Manage and grow our presence across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter). Brand Development – Support in maintaining a consistent brand voice, messaging, and design across all communication channels. Campaign Planning – Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and partnerships. Audience Engagement – Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and build an active online community. Research & Strategy – Monitor marketing trends, analyze competitor activities, and suggest improvements for better outreach. Reporting & Analytics – Track marketing performance (reach, engagement, conversions) and share insights for growth.

As a Telephone Support volunteer you will contact all new referrals to the MND Association in South Yorkshire, introducing the MND Association's services and support available, provide active listening and keep in touch with people living with MND and their families, whilst using your own PC and mobile phone from home.

Democratising STEM Education for the Global Majority.

Based in Kenya, we work to improve STEM learning outcomes for children in emerging markets by making education more accessible and affordable. Digital Marketer

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

The digital marketer will be incharge of social media and email campaigns with an aim of transforming impressions into conversions and subcriptions

Weekly Time Commitment

2-3 hours per week

The role: Our scholars are eager to meet graduates and professionals who can support them in achieving their ambitions. Mentors are mainly responsible for providing support and career advice to pupils. Mentors must also be committed to supporting us at our events, which take place in the evenings and on Saturdays throughout the term. These events include our scholar enrichment days, our parent and pupil information sessions and our volunteer social events which are held in London. 

Availability: Mentors must be available for approximately 2-3 hours a month to meet with their mentee, and discuss via phone, email or in person. There is a minimum commitment of one year (three terms).

In addition to this, you will need to support a minimum of 2 events throughout the year. Enrichment and skill-building events for our scholars usually take place in the evenings and at weekends, with events ranging from 2-8 hours in length.

Location: Mentoring sessions and events can take place online or in person.

Responsibilities: 

• Working collaboratively with parents to give students guidance and advice on how to achieve their aspirations

• Informing pupils of opportunities to them so that they can achieve their aspirations

• Meeting with pupils for one to one mentoring sessions

• Supporting pupils with university, sixth form or job applications

• Monitoring and reporting on each pupils progress

• Giving feedback to parents and programme coordinators

• Working collaboratively with other tutors and mentors

• Supporting at events including:

  • Collaborate effectively with other volunteers within the events team

  • Assist with setting up and clearing up at events

  • Support workshop facilitators with managing groups of young people or parents

  • Assist with the coordination of lunch or refreshments for attendees

  • Assist the event coordinator with ensuring the health and safety of attendees and overall risk management at events

  • Give feedback to the event coordinators and programme managers at the end of each event.

We are a new Community Interest Company offering arts, gardening and wellbeing workshops to all.  We are currently running on a 100% voluntary basis and are looking for some revenue to offer more to our local communities. Person Specification: The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience;

• Relevant qualifications, previous experience in grant / bid writing, fundraising, and excellent communication skills.
• Successful track record of achieving agreed financial income targets with a charity, CIC, social enterprise or not-for-profit organisation.

• Manage time effectively and work to deadlines; be organised in monitoring grants and responding to grant providers.

• Apply to a list of grant/funders which will be provided. Research potential grant providers to seek funding opportunities especially those relating to Flourish Arts Network's areas of operation.
• Determine and create plans to streamline the grants administration procedure.
• Initiate contact and write bids to raise funds to support for Flourish Arts Network.
• Liaise with grant providers to ensure receipt of applications, and get feedback for any unsuccessful bids in order to learn and develop moving forward.
• Closely track grant expenditure and monitoring for successful bids, in line with the terms of each grant received.
• Join us for for refreshements and conversations at some of our free events.

About Us

The Story Forge Project is a new, grassroots literacy project based in Grantham. We design imaginative, inclusive workshops for children and young people that build confidence, creativity and a lifelong love of words. From festive letter-writing to story zines and sensory map-making, we’re on a mission to make storytelling part of everyday life - for every child, not just the confident ones.

We’re newly constituted, but growing fast, and now we’re looking for a like-minded volunteer to help us grow our funding base and secure support for our pilot projects across Lincolnshire.

The Role

We’re looking for a volunteer with an interest in literacy, books, children’s creativity or arts fundraising to help us design and coordinate a simple fundraising calendar. You don’t need to be a professional fundraiser, just someone organised, curious, and up for helping a new idea take flight.

Key tasks include:

• Researching small grants and funding opportunities (local councils, trusts, literacy/arts schemes)

• Helping shape a 6–12 month calendar of possible applications or fundraising opportunities

• Supporting with simple application templates and tracking

• Optional: helping build relationships with local businesses, bookshops or sponsors

You won’t need to make asks yourself unless you want to, we’re just looking for someone to help us build the plan and shape our direction. You’ll be working closely with our founder (a children’s author) and will be credited as part of the founding team.
