Job description

Support Coordinator

Location: Manchester

Salary: £24,243 - £30,790 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Are you passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives? Join our dedicated team as a Support Coordinator and be part of a service that’s all about recovery, empowerment, and positive change.

About the role
As a Support Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals rebuild their lives in a supported accommodation setting. You’ll provide recovery-focused support, advice, and guidance to people on their journey to stability and independence. No two days are the same — from leading 1:1 sessions and group work to coordinating clinical appointments and collaborating with volunteers, your work will be hands-on, rewarding, and transformative.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working autonomously to manage a caseload of our service users, including delivering a range of psychosocial interventions.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to undertake ongoing assessments, risk assessments, and appropriate referrals within the community
  • Facilitating group sessions with a range of individuals of varying backgrounds.
  • Working with partnership agencies to ensure continuity of care and support.

Please note you will be required to provide on call cover 1 in 8 weeks.

About you
To succeed as a Support Coordinator you will be someone who’s empathetic, motivated, and ready to make a difference.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in support work or a related field, but more importantly, you’ll have the drive to support people through recovery with compassion and professionalism.

Who are we…

That’s why you will notice the jobs here are still branded ‘Humankind’. Next year we’ll be fully integrating our recruitment systems but for now they are separate.
