AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).  The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.  

The role of the Events and Campaigns Lead is to plan and implement a wide range of high quality, responsive activities, including fundraising campaigns via social media, and developing relationships with supporter ambassadors, and planning and organising regional events, throughout the year.   

The role also involves working with the CEO and wider team on AMMF’s major events, such as Westminster receptions, nurse study days, and the annual 3-day conference. 

It is expected the Events and Campaigns Lead will develop an understanding of AMMF’s aims and objectives and its policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver a programme for fundraising campaigns throughout the year, eg, summer competitions, Christmas fundraisers
• Lead on and be first point of contact for regional ambassadors, their meetings and events
• Develop, set up and manage a database and network of regional volunteers
• Organise patient and carer virtual meetings
• Prepare for and attend external events representing AMMF, for example, university or hospital information days
• Attend external AMMF networking, partner and fundraising events when required
• Attend the annual AMMF conference and other events, and fulfil duties as required.

About the role:

As a Team Leader you will be:

• Ensuring the effective delivery of services to victims in accordance with the London Adult Service against contract specifications, operating procedures, confidentiality, information sharing and safeguarding policies.
• Lead the caseworker team, ensuring victims receive timely, professional needs and risks assessment and referral to appropriate support, assuring the quality of service provision.

As Assistant Donation Hub Manager, your primary purpose is to support the efficient and effective operation of our Donations Hub, ensuring that all incoming stock is sorted, processed, and distributed in line with the needs of our retail and ecommerce operations.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to manage a complex and varied stock flow coming from multiple sources - including in-store donations, house clearances, home collections, corporate and community events, and direct drop-offs from the public. A key part of your role will be to ensure these donations are processed efficiently, assessed for maximum value, and appropriately segmented to drive income across our 14 shops and online platforms.

This is a highly practical and physical role that requires strong organisational skills and a deep understanding of operational logistics. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely fulfilment of shop orders, maintaining high standards of stock quality by both sorting incoming donations from shops, allocating corporate donations and supporting the movement and dispatch of goods in a way that maximises efficiency and minimises waste.

You’ll lead day-to-day activities in the hub, supervising volunteers and working collaboratively with drivers to deliver an excellent internal service to shop teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic Assisted Information Officer to join us in delivering our comprehensive front line HIV and sexual health helpline service. You will need to have excellent communication and support skills, be able to deal with sensitive and challenging issues and be quick to learn new information. Ideally you will have experience of providing information and support through a variety of channels including the telephone, email and live chat and have a good knowledge of HIV and sexual health issues.

Working alongside other Assisted Information Officers, volunteers and Generalist Advisors you will be  providing information, advice, emotional support, referral and signposting. We are looking for an individual who will ensure that the effective day-to-day operations and communications of London CLT run smoothly. Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with financial administration, such as processing invoices, logging donations, and tracking expenses.

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights
