Sustainable Living Project Manager 

Salary: £35,500p.a. FTE

Using research insights compiled by our award-winning Centre for Social Innovation, you will pro-actively design, curate and manage an online engagement tool for our large audience of supporters and volunteers. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will ensure cross-over with our other impactful campaigns and volunteer engagement programmes. You will help design and undertake ongoing monitoring and engagement to ensure that we understand the impact of our offer, and that we can report on it and learn from it. Alongside this, you will work with colleagues to ensure that the project is suitably funded into the future. As the project progresses, there will be additional scope to grow and shape the project dependent on funding.

We offer great flexibility as an organisation. We’re in the office two days a week, and make sure we’re all in on a Tuesday so we can meet as a team. The rest of the week you can work from the office or home – it’s up to you.

We work in communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, travel across the county will be expected as part of the role.

The role is part of our Workforce team. You’ll be supported by the Workforce Manager and the rest of the Energise Me team to grow and develop your own skills and knowledge.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To lead the effective and high-quality delivery of peer-led support for individuals on their recovery journey across the Borough of Haringey. This role will require dynamic, hands-on management of BUBIC’s team, encompassing staff, peer mentors, and volunteers, to meet key performance indicators and community needs.

You will represent BUBIC’s values in all aspects of your work, including strengthening existing partnerships and cultivating new community links. A flexible approach is essential, with regular night shifts and occasional weekend work expected to provide outreach and attend local events.

Key Responsibilities

Person Specification

Education and Training:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.

• Familiarity with SMART Recovery, 12-Step Philosophy, harm reduction, and peer-led support.
   

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in substance misuse or related services.
   

• At least 2 years’ experience managing teams in a community or substance misuse setting.

Skills and Abilities:

Addiction Family Support is the leading UK registered charity for people affected or bereaved by a loved one’s harmful use of alcohol, drugs, or gambling, supporting over 3,500 people each year.

The Role: Services Manager

As Services Manager at Addiction Family Support, you will coordinate the development and delivery of our core services – ensuring they run smoothly, meet high standards, and continue to evolve in response to the needs of the people we support.

You’ll line-manage our team of part-time Family Support Workers and work closely with staff and volunteers across our helpline, one-to-one and group services, and training provision. The next few years will be critical in determining what kind of world we all live in. We need to urgently reverse the loss of wildlife and put nature into recovery at scale if we are to prevent climate and ecological disaster. We recognise that this will require big, bold changes in the way The Wildlife Trusts work, not least in how we mobilise others and support them to organise within their own communities. 

The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery. 

About You 

Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use. 

The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030. 

You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. You will be an excellent communicator – proficient at running meetings, organising information and putting together reports.

About the Role
As our Wales Lead, you’ll take on a high-impact, strategic role at the forefront of creating real change for young people across Wales. You won’t just be shaping our vision—you’ll be bringing it to life by building powerful partnerships, influencing key decision-makers, and championing the growth of our enterprise and financial education programmes in the places they’re needed most.

 This role is anything but ordinary. One day you could be speaking at a roundtable in the Senedd, the next you might be rallying new corporate partners, supporting a school’s first enterprise challenge, or welcoming a team of volunteers to inspire students during a school workshop. You’ll be a connector, an ambassador, and a changemaker—leading the charge to embed our work into Welsh policy and priorities while forging strong, purposeful relationships across Welsh Government, local authorities, schools, and community organisations.

 You’ll be the face and voice of Young Enterprise in Wales—energising a wide network of businesses, educators, funders, and volunteers to scale our impact and amplify our reach. With a strong focus on growth, fundraising, and influence, you’ll help us secure the resources and recognition needed to empower young people with the skills, confidence, and resilience they need for life, work, and the future.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the strategic growth of Young Enterprise in Wales

· Lead on policy awareness, ensuring the organisation remains responsive to Government priorities and commissioned reports

· Develop, maintain and lead strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, local and national government, education bodies and partners

· Identify and secure  funding to support our work across Wales with an ambitious focus on growing income

· Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings

· Recruit, train and support volunteers—making sure they feel valued and inspired

· Represent YE in Wales externally at events and forums, promoting the organisations profile and influence across the education and third sector

· Focus your energy on reaching young people who face the greatest barriers to opportunity, making sure our work has the biggest impact where it’s needed most

· Build strong partnerships with businesses, educational settings and other local organisations to bring our programmes to life in both formal and informal settings

· Keep accurate records, track impact, and make sure safeguarding is front and centre

A few practical things:

· This is an active hands-on role—you’ll sometimes be lifting resources, setting up venues and travelling regularly (a car and full driving licence are essential)

· You’ll need to be a prolific networker, keen to develop new relationships across Wales to expand our reach

· You’ll need to be happy occasionally working evenings or weekends during peak delivery times

· Expect to be on your feet during some events or sessions—it’s all part of the fun!

We are seeking an individual who is experienced in charity sector work and is enthusiastic about building community and assisting people in hardship and poverty. The ideal candidate will have a vision for how to help the charity reach it’s potential and continue the legacy of excellent advice provision and community development that is already established. The new Centre Manager will be comfortable providing light touch Christian spiritual leadership for the work as a whole. They will have good experience and knowledge of fund-raising and bid-writing, a background in the charity sector and a good awareness of welfare rights advice work

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, dynamic and enjoy leading a small team of staff and volunteers. They will have a high level of English language skills both written and oral and will be a good listener able to empathize with people in distress.

ROLE: Digital Content Manager 

Salary: £42,000 per annum

ROLE OVRVIEW 

We’re looking for a creative and strategic thinking individual with strong writing skills to lead the development and delivery of compelling digital content that aligns our key messages to key audiences. You’ll play a vital role in increasing our visibility, strengthening our voice, and positioning Fields in Trust as the go-to organisation for commentary, advice, and support on parks and green spaces. 

You’ll join a passionate, mission-driven team working to protect the green spaces that matter to us all. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we tell our story - informing, inspiring and motivating others to take action. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement a digital content plan aligned with organisational strategy and goals, collaborating with media partners and creative agencies as needed. 

• Ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels and audience segments. 

• Create engaging, high-quality content (written, visual, and video) for our website, social media, and email newsletters. 

• Design and implement standardised templates for external communications (e.g. partner presentations) to ensure consistent brand tone and messaging across teams.

• Manage the content calendar and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and relevant content delivery. 

• Tailor digital content (and occasional offline materials such as a publications, annual reviews, and display panels) to resonate with key audiences including national and local government, the built environment sector, funders, partners and park users. 

• Use storytelling to highlight the value of parks and green spaces and the impact of our work. 

• Manage and optimise our website and social media presence. 

• Monitor content performance and engagement, using analytics to guide content strategy and improvements. 

• Uphold and evolve our brand voice and visual identity across digital content and assets. 

• Act as a guardian for tone, language, and messaging consistency. 

• Work cross-organizationally to develop high quality content and outputs we can use to influence and engage key audiences. 

• Support colleagues with digital content, best practice and training where needed. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Demonstrable experience in digital content creation and planning. 

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. 

• Strong understanding of digital platforms, SEO, and analytics. 

• Ability to align content with strategic messaging and audience needs. 

• Creative mindset with a passion for social or environmental causes. 

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytic, Dot Digital, Resource Space, Hootsuite

In this job, you’ll work closely with the New Partnerships Manager and wider corporate partnerships team to drive forward new business by seeking and securing innovative new partnerships with high-value companies. You’ll also deliver excellent account management by providing our partners with an inspiring supporter experience.

You’ll be instrumental in helping our team to reach our ambitious fundraising goals to support Samaritans’ life-saving work.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and steward a portfolio of corporate partners, providing both reactive and proactive support.
• Develop and implement fundraising initiatives, creating resources that drive engagement.
• Achieve personal income targets from existing and new corporate partnerships and new business activity KPIs.
• Research and cultivate new corporate prospects to grow our supporter base.
• Create impactful communications including reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Provide administrative support including income coding, inbox management, and volunteer coordination.

What you’ll bring:​

• Previous experience within Account Management, Sales, Event Management or Marketing.
• Ability to generate creative and imaginative proposals and take the initiative to develop new relationships with prospective partners.
• You’ll be an excellent communicator, someone who can build relationships easily and able to provide expert customer care.
• You’ll be familiar with working to achieve income targets and some experience gained within a Charity fundraising or third sector role is desirable.
