To enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and prevent homelessness by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.

What you'll do:

* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Manager
* Ensure that referrals to the service are managed effectively and in line with the referrals and assessment procedure
* Undertake initial and assessments and continuous reviews of support needs and potential risks, and agree levels of support and actions
* Create and review support/ action plans for providing appropriate housing-related support based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the local community
* Empower customers to ensure they receive the benefits and services they are entitled to
* Signpost customers to support services that can help them address additional support needs such as mental or physical health, employment and education, adult social care, domestic abuse and family support
* Encourage and enable customers to pay their rent and other housing-related costs, and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the relevant housing provider
* Encourage and enable customers to adhere to all other conditions of their tenancies/ licences, eg maintaining a satisfactory living environment, refraining from anti-social behaviour, allowing access for essential work
* Encourage and enable customers to take necessary steps to seeking and preparing for alternative accommodation where maintaining their current housing situation is unsuitable or unviable
* Ensure that all safeguarding concerns are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
* Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive customer records to professional standards
* Adhere to Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures
* Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills
* Work closely with the team and communicate openly
* Undertake any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as may be reasonably assigned by the manager within the remit of the service and contract.

Our Recovery Worker will be an integral part of the 121 floating support service which is an integrated, coordinated and holistic service aiming to support individuals with mental health needs within the community.

· Relevant experience OR qualification in Youth & Community (JNC), Social Work (QSW) or SEND.

· Proven experience working with young people ‘at risk’.

· Reliability, with a flexible approach to changes and able to work unsociable hours.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Exhibitions Officer to join their Archives, Heritage Library and Museum services (AMS) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering exhibitions that explore the history and evolution of medicine, with a strong emphasis on audience engagement and accessibility. You will collaborate with the AMS team to create compelling exhibitions that resonate with a wide range of visitors.

Their collections, including archives, art and objects, books, and oral history recordings, offer a unique lens through which they can engage, inspire and entertain audiences. In London, their permanent displays and temporary exhibitions are viewed by over 32,000 visitors a year, with a further 400,000 visits to items on loan to museums and galleries around the world. 

You’ll report to and work closely with the Senior Curator and hold a key role in a busy and experienced team of 9 heritage professionals.

Responsibilities

• plan and develop the content and delivery of a programme of changing exhibitions exploring themes from medicine past and present
• research and write interpretation for exhibitions and displays.
• collaborate with the AMS team to develop materials that enhance audience engagement and accessibility
• work with an advisory committee to ensure exhibitions reflect diverse perspectives
• manage the planning and logistics of all aspects of exhibition installation and de-installation, working collaboratively with other RCP departments and external contractors.
• contribute to AMS social media, history blog, exhibition webpages.

This role is a part time (14 hours), with a minimum of 7 hours per fortnight to be worked onsite. The remaining hours able to be worked flexibly across the week.

Experience

• You will have significant experience of developing and delivering exhibitions in a museum environment, including writing interpretation text.
• Your experience will also include managing loans in a museum environment, including legal and logistical requirements.
• You will be familiar with handling historic collections and with best practice guidelines like Spectrum.
• You will have a demonstrable interest in the history of medicine or a related subject.

As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.

With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related  to substance misuse, criminal jusice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

Job Title: Support Mentor

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rota which includes day and late shifts, bank holidays, and weekends. Hours will range between 09:00 - 17:00 and 13:00 - 21:00

About the role

Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals. 

About you

We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have faced homelessness and may have other complex needs. Our residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges.. You will be able to work within a team, and have previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. Each support plan is tailored to the individual, putting their needs first for the team to be able to deliver support to their needs. What are we looking for:

• Understanding of the needs of those who have faced homelessness and have various complex needs including mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency
• Ability to use IT systems to record case notes, email relevant people, and use other software required within the role

Main Purpose of the Job

Glasgow’s Helping Heroes (GHH) is based in the Pearce Institute in Glasgow, and operates as a partnership between SSAFA and Glasgow City Council to be a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need.

About the role

The Peer Support Workers at GHH manage their own caseload and provide advice and advocacy across a range of areas including financial assistance, grant applications via our dedicated system, welfare benefits navigation, priority debt management, mental health pathway navigation, housing, and homelessness. The Peer Support Workers are the main point of contact for those seeking support to reduce homelessness and work closely with our Homeless & Housing team to help beneficiaries maintain their tenancies through proactive support and additionally collaborate with our in-house Citizens Advice Scotland service.

No two days are the same at GHH, which currently runs three beneficiary-focused projects: Glasgow’s Veterans United, a football and wellbeing initiative; MIRRORS, a project for those potentially at risk of dementia which includes various activities across Glasgow and a 10-week language course; There will also be opportunities to co-produce and develop future initiatives for the Armed Forces community.

About the team

GHH provides a single point of contact through a gateway model, enhancing local access to a wide range of services. These include support with financial matters, housing and homelessness, employability, and more. The team currently operates from their office in Govan, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. Outreach work is also carried out across the city to ensure wider community engagement.

The GHH team works closely with a broad network of internal and external partners, including local SSAFA branches and the Scottish Support Office, Citizens Advice Scotland, Veterans Housing Scotland, Erskine Veterans Village, Scottish Veterans Residences, and Defence Medical Welfare Services.

About you

As a Peer Support Worker at GHH, you will deliver a high-quality, holistic service to our beneficiaries—members of the Armed Forces community in Glasgow.

This is a dynamic and rewarding position suited to someone who is proactive, compassionate, and committed to making a difference. You’ll need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and creative, with strong organisational skills and the initiative to manage tasks independently. Integrity and a commitment to doing the right thing are essential. You’ll need to be flexible and empathetic, with the ability to anticipate challenges and think creatively about alternative ways to support our beneficiaries.

While an awareness of the Armed Forces community and the wider third sector is desirable, what matters most is your ability to demonstrate the same outstanding qualities as our current team: strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine desire to support others.

You will manage a varied caseload, offering holistic advice and support on complex issues such as financial assistance, education, employment, and wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues and partner organisations, you will ensure clients receive the right practical and emotional support. This will include submitting applications for financial assistance to service charities and other relevant bodies, using your knowledge of charitable and statutory services to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

You will be available to work either four days per week (Tuesday to Friday) or three days per week (including Friday), starting at 09:30 each day.

We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Systems Accountant to support the implementation of Unit4 ERP system within our housing association. The post holder is expected to take over the ongoing system admin role post go live. This pivotal role bridges finance and IT, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and enhanced financial reporting capabilities.

What you'll do:
ERP Implementation & Project Support
* Support the Project Team in the implementation of Unit4 ERP modules tailored to housing association needs.
* Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of financial data.
* Support the user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and data integrity.
* Provide training and support to end-users during and after the implementation phase.
System Administration & Support
* Act as the primary point of contact for all Unit4 ERP related queries and issues.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates or patches.
* Maintain and update system documentation, including user guides and procedural manuals.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
* Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards within Unit4 ERP to support decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies through system controls.
Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement
* Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

What you'll bring:

Essential:
* Proven experience in managing and supporting Unit4 ERP systems, preferably in the housing or public sector.
* Part Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
* Experience in data migration, system testing, and user training.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Desirable:
* Familiarity with housing association operations and sector-specific financial requirements.
* Experience in supporting ERP implementation projects.
* Knowledge of SQL or other reporting tools for data analysis.

Overview

This role offers the opportunity to plan, create & deliver a variety of communications, leading on design and digital deliverables across internal & external channels for Glass Door Homeless Charity.  

The Digital Communication Officer works in the Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications & Fundraising and manage Glass Door design, web & socials.  

Through this role, we will deliver a robust plan of impactful and on-brand content, raising the profile of our work and ensuring we are known amongst existing and new audiences in London 

Job Spec 

Editorial & Design 

• Ability to produce fresh, emotive and informative content across print & digital platforms - including profiles of guests, news stories, blogs and speeches

• Lead on design and delivery across the organisation – digital & print: including posters, informative leaflets, presentations, graphics and images for social media, newsletters and website as needed 

• Work collaboratively across the organisation to solicit content from other members of staff, including caseworkers, operations and fundraising colleagues to support Communications’ strategic aims 

• Support the design of campaigns, appeals & events - working alongside the Head of Comms & Fundraising, and key members of the fundraising team to bring alive the vision of the campaign. 

• Co-lead on our work with content producers (photographers, videographers, designers, etc), ensuring content meets Glass Door’s standards and is signed off by appropriate staff members

• Maintain Sharepoint for digital content – including photos, social images, video and written content 

• Provide quality-control support (eg proof-reading and editing) on all materials outside of the Comms team and externally, ensuring all content, imagery and branding are consistent with house style and on brand 

• Create & deliver video content to support the digital strategy and on an ad-hoc basis 

Digital

• Manage and maintain all social media accounts in-line with Glass Door's social media guidelines, focusing on building awareness, driving traffic and increasing engagement

• Manage and update Glass Door's website in-line with the digital strategy and content planner 

• Co-develop & oversee a digital content calendar 

• Co-manage delivery of multiple/congruent campaigns, appeals and events to engage existing and attract new supporters, often working alongside key members of other teams including fundraising, operations and advocacy teams. 

• Support with digital marketing, working closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Officer, Head of Comms & Fundraising Team to plan, track and successfully deliver paid and organic digital journeys. 

• Monitor social media and advise key staff on any issues arising that could jeopardise the reputation of the charity, ensuring all Crisis Comms is managed in line with Crisis Comms Policy 

• Support the development and delivery of bi-monthly internal e-newsletters.

Monitor impact 

• Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Officer to ensure all conversions of paid promotion are tracked effectively and efficiently 

• Support the monitoring and tracking of website usage 

• Support the evaluation of social media and online reach, create monthly reports, and assist with evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns and appeals 

• Support the monitoring and tracking Google ads and analytics 

• Support the vision and production of a new website, ensuring it is on brand and meets our content and communication needs 

• Monitor, assess and report to relevant teams of our content performance to ensure our channels are hives of activity and relevant to our audiences. 

• Monitor and follow trends within digital and innovation to improve the organisation’s digital presence and activities 

Strategy 

• Co-lead on the planning and delivery of the Glass Door Communications Strategy – specifically on the digital and content plans 

• Support the delivery of Fundraising key deliverables – specifically on the digital content, stories and campaign key deliverables 

• Co-manage the Comms Team’s and cross org deliverables via project management platform monday(dot)com 

Events 

• Support co-ordination of events, by designing and delivering print and digital materials, online support to fundraisers, and representing the charity as needed in-person and online. 

Other

• Attend and participate in relevant team meetings, and other ad hoc meetings when necessary. 

• Undertake other ad hoc tasks as directed, such as assistance on Glass Door events and occasional administrative support to the CEO.
