Overview

At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives on building relationships – with partners and with colleagues in the UK and around the world. You will be a brilliant communicator, someone who can juggle multiple priorities and inspire people to believe in our story. Ideally, you will have at least a year’s experience in a relationship management role (in a commercial or fundraising setting), and a particular interest in international development. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Fundraising

· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements

· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.

· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants

· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.

· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships

· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content

· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases

Community Fundraising

· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests

· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems

Additional Responsibilities

· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector

· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.

About The Role

As the Progressions Officer you will work closely with the Regional Programme Lead in the Leeds area, taking care of programme related administration, delivery of training, and supporting the progression of individuals from recruitment through to employment. Corporate Fundraiser

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic fundraiser with strong relationship-building skills to develop and grow sustainable income through corporate partnerships.

In Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, the MHSTs are run as a partnership between OTR and NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (AWP CAMHS). Team Coordinators will assist MHST Team Managers and Clinical Leads in the operational management of Mental Health Support Teams by providing high quality support to staff members and supporting initiatives to develop our workforce.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Macclesfield.

Position: S11313 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based – Macclesfield, East Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £21, 948 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Contract: Our services are contracted; we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2026. While continued funding beyond this date cannot be guaranteed, we have maintained regular contracts in this area for many years and are confident in the likelihood of securing future funding

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have experience in:

• Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities
• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.

This is a pivotal leadership role at a critical moment for EarthPercent. The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) is Scotland’s leading strategic anti-racist organisation. Our mission is to protect, enhance and promote the rights of Black and minority ethnic (BME) communities across all areas of life in Scotland, strengthening their social, economic and political capital, particularly for those most at risk of disadvantage.

The Role

As Executive Director, you will be the senior officer responsible for the strategic leadership, policy development, office and staff management, financial control, stakeholder relationships and Company Secretary duties. You will ensure delivery of annual work plans, contractual compliance and organisational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy, Research and Policy Development: Provide strategic direction, delivering CRER’s vision, aims and objectives; lead development and execution of strategy with staff and Board, setting policy, research and advocacy priorities.
• Governance and Operational Management: Act as Company Secretary; oversee OSCR compliance; support the Board’s duties through guidance and information; prepare annual budgets; ensure sound financial management; oversee management accounts and annual reports; maintain infrastructure and regulatory compliance; implement risk management; develop funding applications and tender responses.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Lead and line-manage a motivated team; maintain and apply the CRER Policies and Procedures Handbook consistently.
• Stakeholder Relations and Public Relations: Manage external relationships with BME organisations, third sector, government, funders, academia, and parliamentarians; represent CRER in strategic discussions, public events, media, and on social media platforms.
• Other Duties: Any additional tasks required for effective organisational functioning.

Key Details

• Job Title: Executive Director
• Salary: £67,000 per annum
• Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
• Location: Hybrid home/office (minimum three days per week in our Glasgow City Centre office, with occasional travel across Scotland). Support with required relocation costs available.

Person specification:

• Degree level qualification or equivalent
• Expertise in strategic, anti-racist approaches to race equality
• Strong oral and written communication with diverse audiences
• Ability to interpret complex social policy and devise effective interventions for Black minority ethnic communities in Scotland
• Current awareness of developments in the race equality arena
• Lived experience of racialisation, applied to policy and practice

This person must be passionate about delivering high levels of personalised care to a range of donors and have the ability to communicate effectively, while maintaining attention to detail to ensure the smooth delivery of the processes behind donor engagement. You must also be flexible and confident in providing wider support across the fundraising teams within the Royal Star & Garter group.

This is a hybrid role, with two days a week at our Worthing Home to build strong relationships and gain a deeper understanding of our work. There may also be occasional visits to outside events and to Royal Star & Garter’s other Homes as needed.

Purpose of the role

- To provide excellent customer care to all donors, delivering optimum supporter journeys working effectively with the wider team within the Royal Star & Garter (RSG) group 
- To manage all associated fundraising payment processes and procedures and work effectively with finance to manage safe and effective banking and reconciliations
- To provide fundraising support across the department and locations of our services in respect of a range of activities including fundraising events
- To support the High Value Events & Corporate Manager in time bound projects as and when necessary

Supporter care

- To be proactive in enabling the supporter journey with timely communications (phone, email and letters) and clear stewardship with both existing and new donors
- Ensure effective frontline support and response for donors across a range of incoming systems
- Ensure donation processes and procedures are adhered to and executed in a timely manner, in accordance with guidelines – updating those wherever required with approval by the RSG Fundraising Officer.
 
Donations and data entry

- Ensure that the fundraising CRM database is up to date and that supporters contact and financial data is accurate, including creating new records
- Complete weekly banking and allocation tasks in accordance with the approved process, liaising with the finance department to ensure that all batched income is allocated correctly
- Data inputting on the CRM to include: regular giving, importing income from external agencies including CAF and Just Giving, processing Gift Aid and accurately storing declarations
- Filing and management of paperwork, ensuring due diligence and security measures are followed.

Fundraising & volunteer support

- To provide active support to a range of events including: managing participants, sending information, monitoring online giving pages and on the day set up and pack down
- To directly source donated items and contributors to support fundraising events including raffle/auction prizes and coordinating suppliers, stallholders and entertainers 
- Coordinate and communicate with volunteers for events and corporate volunteering days and activities, ensuring they are briefed and supported
- To support any regular mailings or email contact to supporters, assisting with the cleaning and compliance of data once an agreed annual schedule is in place regular.

Other

- To manage all aspects of incoming fundraising post and dedicated inboxes along with outgoing mailings
- Ensure general department are kept up to date including attendance at meetings within RSG group wherever possible
- To be conversant with relevant fundraising legislation and the guidelines of the 
Fundraising Regulator and the GDPR
- To undertake other duties as may be required and which are consistent with the nature of the role.

Knowledge and experience:

- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, preferably within fundraising
- Good working knowledge of CRM database
- Experience of banking processes and consistent financial reconciliation 
- Ability to manage a busy workload meeting deadlines
- Experience of working on own initiative and as part of a team
- Experience of supporting fundraising events, including logistics and on-the-day delivery (desirable)
- Experience of coordinating or working with volunteers, including corporate groups (desirable).
