We level the playing field for athletic sponsorships enabling more athletes to reach their full potential.

Large brands and agencies dominate the sports sponsorship marketplace. As a result, many athletes, including female, disabled, and LGBTQ+ athletes from various ethnicities or lower socioeconomic backgrounds, are often left without sponsors and access to what they need to reach their potential.
In addition, many sponsors need help finding and developing a genuine connection with an athlete, which leads to issues connecting with their audiences. There is no way to search for sponsors or athletes directly without involving costly agencies. Transparency and self-management are crucial in democratising the marketplace. The opportunity to make this sector more equitable is now.

We have built an innovative self-managed athlete-sponsorship platform focused on unique connections between sponsors and athletes. Sponsors, athletes, and fans can sign-up. Athletes create a public profile page with information and media about themselves. Sponsors create campaigns which athletes & teams search and apply for. In addition, all users can follow athletes who post on our social feed. Negotiation steps are in-built before the contract is confirmed; secure payment is taken for the sponsorship amount and held securely. As milestones are reached, an athlete's payment percentage is released, protecting both sides. our latest build has developed our campaign area, where marketing assets are now auto-generated in the brand and athlete voice through AI and ML implementation. Once a campaign has gone live, there is now a dashboard that shows its engagement success and delivers the data points you would expect to understand for each campaign alongside a social value calculation that maps to the SDGs and other CSR markers. Our UI and UX are updated to ensure the right data is captured and the user journey is streamlined. This new release will go live in January 2025 when we have secured our IP and started to build out our team. Our model enables the fair distribution of power.

PR Officer

Our platform serves a dual audience: we support athletes in raising their visibility and creating new opportunities, while helping businesses engage meaningfully with talent that reflects broader society. Communicating the value of this unique approach is at the heart of this role.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Development: Design a comprehensive PR strategy aimed at increasing sign-ups and engagement across both sides of our platform—athletes and businesses.

Campaign Execution: Plan, coordinate, and deliver a targeted campaign that delivers results on time and within a modest budget.

Audience Engagement: Craft and tailor messaging to reach both athlete communities and corporate stakeholders, clearly articulating the social and commercial benefits of involvement.

Media & Outreach:

Identify and secure opportunities to feature athlete ambassadors across key channels, including radio, TV, podcasts, and digital publications.

Create and place compelling stories and articles in industry media and relevant online spaces.

Branch Trustees

RSPCA Stort Valley Branch – multiple opportunities

Help us make the world a better place for animals

RSPCA Branches rescue, rehabilitate and rehome those animals most at risk through clinics, animal centres, boarding and fostering facilities; offer advice and education on animal welfare; and support with microchipping, neutering and subsidised animal treatments for animals owned by people in financial difficulty.

Each RSPCA branch (of which there are approx. 150) is a separately registered charity, operating at a local level across England and Wales. Branches did 78% of the rehoming activity across the RSPCA network in 2020 and took more than 31,000 animals into their care. There are also over 300 RSPCA charity shops, all of which are run by RSPCA branches. The RSPCA has been at the forefront of animal welfare since 1824 when we were founded in a London coffee shop, and we’re proud to be the oldest animal welfare charity around.

What does RSPCA Stort Valley Branch do?

We cover an area either side of the M11 from Saffron Walden in the north to Harlow in the south and fundraise and offer welfare services within this area.

The animal welfare services that we offer are centred around our busy clinic in Harlow and include:

•  Subsidised routine veterinary treatment and microchipping for owned animals - in 2024, we made over 2,200 consultations at our Harlow clinic and administered more than 500 vaccinations and 250 microchips.
•  Advice and education
• Community outreach

We operate a charity shop in Bishops Stortford town centre, selling clothes, books, games and other items to help with our fundraising.

In addition to our Harlow clinic, we work closely with RSPCA animal centres and inspectors to support their work and to look after and re-home animals rescued in our branch area. We also support neighbouring branches by seeing some owned animals from their nearby towns at our clinic. We are working to improve our fostering network to help with rehoming, and are keen to step up our fundraising work to enable us to provide additional welfare support to the community.

What do RSPCA branch trustees do?

RSPCA branch trustees are volunteers who shape the work that the branch does, and are collectively responsible for governing and managing the affairs of the branch. “Trustees have overall control of a charity and are responsible for making sure it’s doing what it was set up to do.” “Trustees are the people who lead the charity and decide how it is run.” “They may be known by other titles, such as: directors, board members, governors, committee members” - Charity Commission. At Stort Valley, we have a lovely team of staff and volunteers with experienced, capable people managing our shop and clinic day-to-day. Trustees will set the strategy, make the big decisions and lead on new initiatives.

Stort Valley Branch is presently in the process of converting to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (‘CIO’), the modern legal form for many charities - loosely equivalent to a Limited Company. We expect to complete the change in the second half of this year (2025).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for applications from people from all social and cultural backgrounds, who are passionate about improving animal welfare. It doesn’t matter whether you are an experienced trustee or not, as trustee training and induction will be provided. If you can bring relevant skills and experience from other aspects of your life, that’s great, and we’re pretty sure you’ll learn some new ones here!

Right now, we would like to recruit several additional Trustees. We’ll define and re-balance the roles of all the Trustees once our new Trustees have settled in, so we’re not necessarily looking for you to select a specific role at this stage. The opportunities could include taking the lead on fundraising, overseeing our clinic or shop, increasing our local outreach and education activities, enhancing our online presence and recognition, and more. Ideally, for some of the roles, you’ll be relatively local to the branch area; others can be done remotely.

We hold monthly Trustees’ meetings, which last 1.5~2 hours. We ask for Trustees to join as many of these meetings as possible. You’ll also need to allow time to prepare for meetings - creating or reading through any relevant documents in advance – and of course, for the specific activities you take on. We normally meet in the evening, online (Google Meet), at times chosen to suit Trustees’ availability.

Trustees are elected or re-elected for a 12-month term at the branch’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). Between AGMs, branches have the ability to co-opt an additional three trustees who serve until the next AGM and can then be elected.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication and team working skills. Most importantly you’ll be supporting your local group to run activities that bring friendship and fun to your local MS Community.

Our amazing team of volunteers help us run over 100 shops across England and Wales.  Every donated item that you sort, prepare and sell helps to raise vital funds to support us in our mission to make sure no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, is isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. Our shops are at the heart of local communities – sharing the work of Sense, and helping to secure support for our life changing work.

What your role will involve

There are a variety of tasks that you can get involved with in the shop, including:

• Welcoming and assisting customers, providing great customer service and a fantastic shopping experience
• Receiving donated goods from members of the public
• Sorting, steaming, tagging and preparing donated goods for sale
• Creating eye catching window and in-shop displays
• Keeping the shop floor well stocked, tidy, clean and organised
• Processing sales and serving on the till
• Promoting Gift Aid and other Sense fundraising initiatives
• Acting as an ambassador for Sense; promoting the shop and Sense in your local community
• Supporting with the recruitment and training of new volunteers
• Following new health and safety measures to ensure the safety of everyone

Do Me A Favour Buddy is seeking volunteers for an exciting research study exploring how personalised acts of kindness impact wellbeing, happiness, and sense of purpose.

About the Study

We're conducting an 8-week research project to understand how targeted acts of kindness affect both givers and receivers. Our research aims to gather evidence on how personalised kindness activities might improve mental wellbeing, reduce feelings of loneliness, and enhance life satisfaction.

What's Involved

• Complete an initial onboarding survey about your personality traits, preferences, and wellbeing
• Participate in our 8-week programme
• Receive personalised suggestions for simple acts of kindness
• Track your experiences and feelings
• Complete brief weekly check-ins
• Share your feedback through a final survey
• Participate in follow-up assessments at 3, 6, and 12 months to help us understand long-term effects

Time Commitment

• 8 weeks for the main study period
• Approximately 10-15 minutes per day during active participation

Background

Indigenous peoples and local communities are grappling with the constant threat of displacement from their lands in Tanzania. The Maasai communities in Tanzania's Loliondo and Ngorongoro regions are currently facing significant challenges, primarily due to government-led eviction efforts aimed at designating these areas for conservation and tourism purposes. The violations of human and land rights have left thousands of people vulnerable and in need of urgent assistance. These evictions not only disrupt the livelihoods of the affected populations but also undermine their cultural heritage and traditional ways of life. As these communities are forced from their ancestral lands, many lose access to vital resources such as grazing lands, water, and shelter, leading to severe socio-economic hardships. Not1More is working with a partner organisation, Traditional Ecosystems Survival Tanzania (TEST), in Tanzania to support their essential fundraising, advocacy and community development activities.  

Your Role

We are looking for a volunteer who can dedicate time to this role through to December 2025. You will be a part of a team that works directly with Tanzania’s indigenous Maasai, and help to make a difference in key areas such as protecting ecosystems, preserving Indigenous knowledge, community capacity building and advocating for Indigenous rights.

The main objective is to help TEST diversify and increase their funding sources. This will include connecting with other enthusiastic team members online to develop a fundraising strategy and implementation of a fundraising campaign, including identifying grant funding opportunities, assisting in the preparation and submission of grant funding proposals, and pursuing philanthropic and corporate partnership funding opportunities.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Ideally you are a compassionate, organised, and resilient individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with a passion for the cause. A proactive, positive personality with a can-do attitude, would highly suit this role.

Previous experience with fundraising activities, preferably with an NGO is desirable but not necessary.

Mentoring

Support and mentoring to develop your skills will be available in this role as we aim to help you bring out our talents in this team.

Hours

As this is a volunteer role, time is flexible, but you would be expected to attend a bi-weekly check-in with someone from the Not1More team to ensure we are working in the same direction.

Ydych chi'n wrandawyr da gyda'r gallu i gynnig cymorth hanfodol yn y Gymraeg? Rydym yn chwilio am wirfoddolwyr sy'n siarad Cymraeg I ymuno a'n tim a chynnig cymorth ymarferol ac emosiynol hanfodol i bobl sy’n mynd trwy’r system llysoedd sifil a theuluol heb gynrychiolaeth gyfreithiol.

Pwy Ydyn Ni?

Pob blwyddyn, mae miloedd o bobl yn y DU yn wynebu’r llys ar eu pen eu hunain. Heb gymorth, mae’n rhaid i unigolion gynrychioli eu hunain wrth fynd trwy un o gyfnodau anoddaf eu bywyd, megis wynebu ysgariad, ceisio sicrhau gofal eu plant, neu wynebu cael eu troi allan o’u cartref. Mae gormod o bobl yn cael eu gadael mewn penbleth, wedi’u gorfodi i lywio system gyfreithiol gymhleth ar eu pennau eu hunain

Rydym yn sefyll ochr yn ochr â phobl sy'n teimlo nad oes ganddynt unman arall i droi. Rydym yn darparu gwasanaeth am ddim ledled Cymru a Lloegr, gan gynnig cymorth ac arweiniad cyn, yn ystod, ac ar ôl achos llys. Rydym yn sicrhau nad yw pobl sy'n wynebu'r llys ar eu pennau eu hunain, gan archwilio'r agweddau ymarferol ac yn eu paratoi i wynebu'r llys ag urddas a hyder.

Gall cymorth ein gwirfoddolwyr gael effaith uniongyrchol ar ganlyniad achos ein cleientiaid ac ar weddill eu bywydau. Wedi’i deilwra i bob unigolyn, mae ein gwirfoddolwyr yn darparu cymorth eang, megis cynnig gwybodaeth cyfreithiol, esbonio beth fyddai’n digwydd yn y llys, helpu pobl i lenwi ffurflenni cyfreithiol cymhleth, a’u cefnogi wrth iddynt gynllunio’r hyn yr hoffent ei ddweud wrth y barnwr.

Credwn fod gan bawb yr hawl i wrandawiad teg, ac rydym yn credu y dylai'r unigolion a'r teuluoedd sy'n chwilio am gymorth yn teimlo eu bod yn cael eu gwrando a’u deall. Ni ddylai unrhyw un wynebu'r llys ar ei ben ei hun.

Rydym yn chwilio am bobl frwdfrydig, gofalgar sydd ag sgiliau cryf o ran datrys problemau, i ymuno â ni i sicrhau na fydd unrhyw un yn wynebu'r llys ar eu pen eu hunain. Dan gefnogaeth un o'n Rheolwyr Gwasanaeth, byddwch yn ymuno â thîm o wirfoddolwyr yng Nghaerdydd, gan helpu pobl trwy:

• Esbonio sut mae'r broses llys yn gweithio
• Helpu cleientiaid i lenwi ffurflenni llys, paratoi datganiadau a threfnu dogfennau llys
• Helpu cleientiaid i gynllunio’r hyn yr hoffent ei ddweud yn y llys
• Mynychu gwrandawiadau llys gwyneb yn wyneb/o bell

Mae profiad cyfreithiol yn werthfawr, ond nid yw'n hanfodol. Rydym yn chwilio am bobl sydd â'r empathi, y menter, a'r ymrwymiad i ddod o hyd i ddatrysiad. Nid ydym yn cynnig cyngor cyfreithiol, ac ble bynnag y gallwn, byddwn yn cyfeirio cleientiaid at sefydliad perthnasol arall.

Sut byddwn yn eich cefnogi

Rydym yn elusen sy’n cael ei pharchu, ac mae gwirfoddolwyr yn chwarae rôl allweddol yn ein gwaith. Byddwch yn gweithio gyda'r Rheolwr Gwasanaeth a fydd yn rhoi hyfforddiant i chi. Byddwch chi byth yn gweithio ar eich pen eich hun, byddwch bob amser yn derbyn cefnogaeth gan dîm o gydweithwyr. Rydym yn chwilio am bobl sy'n gallu gwirfoddoli am o leiaf 2 ddiwrnod y mis, am gyfnod cychwynnol o 8-12 mis. Rydym yn agored i fod yn hyblyg. Sylwch, dim ond ar ddydd Iau a dydd Gwener rydym yn cynnig gwasanaeth trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.

We are looking for a Corporate Brand Manager (Volunteer) to join RollaDome All Skate’s marketing and communications team. As a volunteer in this strategic role, you will help develop and implement our brand strategy, ensuring that our message resonates with our target audiences. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in brand management, nonprofit work, and youth sports to gain practical experience in a rewarding environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Brand Strategy: Develop a brand strategy that supports RollaDome’s mission. Conduct market research and tailor brand messaging for target audiences. 

• Brand Guidelines: Create and uphold consistent brand guidelines across all marketing materials. 

• Asset Management: Oversee brand assets, ensuring all visual elements align with the brand’s values and identity. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the brand is consistently communicated across platforms. 

• Brand Performance Monitoring: Measure brand success and gather insights to help refine strategies. 

• External Relationships: Coordinate with external partners to maintain strong and consistent brand promotion. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities. 

• Excellent communication and brand management skills. 

• Ability to collaborate with teams to achieve common goals. 

• Experience or interest in nonprofit and youth sports environments is preferred.

Role Description: 

This role will be to act as a teaching assistant to tutors delivering ESOL/ English classes for learners 19+. 

You will:

• Work one-on-one or with smaller groups of learners who need additional help 

You need to be:

• Confident in the use of IT 

• Some experience of supporting learners with English

• Learners may come from various cultural backgrounds and face different learning challenges. You will need to be at ease whether supervising an entire class or working one-on-one with students.
