We currently have an excellent administrator opportunity for flexible and proactive individual to join our Nightingale Home from Hospital service, which provides much needed free support to local older people who have been discharged from hospital or become unwell in the community – with a particular emphasis on those living alone and without family support. 

Our small team of team & volunteers are  involved in organising and delivering tasks which facilitate a speedy hospital discharge and make homes safer to avoid admission – including fitting keysafes, moving furniture, shopping, giving advice and coordinating with health & social teams. 

This busy role will include:

- Taking referrals into the service and adding to the CRM / database.

- Updating CRM / database and gathering information for the team to support clients.

- Coordinating Nightingale staff and volunteers to ensure tasks essential for a safe discharge are complete.

- Ensure the individual receives the support/services they need taking a holistic approach – working and communicating with staff, referrers, clients, family members, carers, social workers, hospitals and other Age UK Richmond and voluntary sector services.

We are looking for an Interim Supporter Engagement Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract, who will be the first point of call for supporters across four areas of our fundraising programme: in-memory giving, individual giving (cash & regular gifts), community & events fundraising and social challenges/virtual fundraising.

 Our Public Fundraising Team works closely together to steward our supporters, you would be responding to incoming queries, delivering established stewardship journeys and helping to shape the development of new ways of communicating with our supporters.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage, lead and support the Fundraising and Communications Team to retain donors, increase income and provide clear direction for our communications. Specific Tasks:

The focus areas and key deliverables of this role are as follows:

• Develop and deliver on a clear fundraising and communications strategy, with annual action plans and clear objectives and KPIs for team members.

• Understand and keep abreast of sector trends and compliance updates relating to fundraising and communications

• Develop and maintain oversight of all budgets, targets, forecasts and processes relating to fundraising and communications

• Co-ordinate the prioritising of income streams, including community, individual giving, corporate, legacy and trust and grants

• Research, identify, and where there is capacity, pursue income generation opportunities that match the objectives of Action Duchenne

• Establish a database for external stakeholders also supporting those living with Duchenne on a national basis, fed in to from the Support Team.

• To develop a triaging and caseload process for the Support Team, and how best to regularly monitor this.

• Be involved in the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers appropriate to your area of work. 

• Coordinate cover for the Support Team when there is sickness or leave.

About the Role

Our Ayrshire and Arran Infant Feeding Peer Support Project is commissioned by NHS Ayrshire and Arran to offer infant feeding support as part of the integrated Infant Feeding service. The support is delivered, on a one to one basis to the families from an antenatal through to when your baby is 6-8 weeks old, in families homes, via phone, text and video calls.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

· Providing one to one breastfeeding support to families within Ayrshire and Arran, at peoples homes, via phone, text and video calls.

· Inputting information onto patients records within platforms used by the health professionals in the region.

· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.  

· To attend regular supervision/support sessions. 

· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Ayrshire and Arran area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.

· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breast milk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.

The role is 16 hours per week which to be worked in 4 hours shifts over 4 days. This role is based within the community across Ayrshire and Arran.

As Campaigns Executive, you will play a key role in building Bite Back’s Shape Our Streets programme, working with Local Authorities and young people locally to advocate for healthier food environments. You will support the coordination of Bite Back’s national campaigns to put youth voice front and centre, calling for a #CommercialBreak from junk food advertising, high streets that aren’t flooded with unhealthy products, and school food that supports young people to thrive. You will support the coordination of Bite Back’s youth model internationally to raise awareness of the global issue and build campaigns within different country contexts.

You’ll be creating change and protecting every young person’s right to a healthy childhood.

The Campaigns Executive will report to the Senior Campaigns Manager and will work closely with colleagues across Bite Back, in particular with our Programmes and Digital Communications teams.

Responsibilities

The Campaigns Executive responsibilities include:

● Providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support across national, local and international campaign workstreams.

● Helping to plan and deliver campaign events, such as in-person and online workshops: booking venues/managing online platforms, organising travel and materials, briefing staff and providing on-the-day support, occasionally outside standard working hours.

● Undertaking desk research, evidence-gathering and basic data analysis to inform our campaign activities, turning findings into briefings and/or presentations for internal teams.

● Contributing to brainstorms and ideation sessions with teams across Bite Back.

We’re looking for an ambitious fundraiser to successfully implement key objectives within our five-year fundraising strategy to enable our community projects to thrive and grow. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with a proactive attitude, as well as working collaboratively within our wider team.

This is an exciting role that would suit a fundraiser who is looking for a new challenge, someone who has a successful track record in securing grants & leading fundraising initiatives and who wants to move to the next stage of their career by leading on a multi-faceted 5-year fundraising strategy for a small but growing grass roots organisation. • Major donors and corporate sponsorships

About the Role

This is a part time role, 3 days (22.5 hours) per week

It will be offered as a permanent contract with a full time equivalent annual salary of £37,000 - £40,000 (pro rata £22,200 - £24,000)

This is a hybrid role with one day per week at our office address of School 360, Sugar House Lane, Stratford, E15 2QS. The other two days can be worked from home and/or for community visits as needed across the London Borough of Newham

About Sydenham Garden

Based in Lewisham in South-East London, Sydenham Garden is a unique wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give to our primary beneficiaries).

About the role 

Our Director has been in post since November 2021 and on returning from maternity leave in January 2026 she will be working 3 days a week.  We are seeking a Co-Director to jointly lead the organisation going forwards as we have made a positive decision to move towards a co-director model.  This is an exciting opportunity which can have benefits of increasing capacity, efficiency, and transparency and allow for a broader range of identities both to better reflect the diverse populations they serve and as a way to include more diverse leaders. It is a model that can also reduce burnout, build equity, and support flexible working.

As Co-Director you will be jointly responsible for leading and manage the day-to-day running of Sydenham Garden for the benefit of our co-workers.  This will involve overseeing implementation and regular review of Sydenham Garden’s strategic plan and to ensure all governance arrangements are in place to monitor the work of the organisation and to report to the Board of Trustees and to funders.

You will ensure fundraising and financial plans and processes are in place to deliver the agreed services, including fundraising from Trusts & Foundations, community fundraising and developing contracted services as necessary.

The Co-Directors will be jointly accountable to the Trustee Board for all aspects of the job description. You may take lead responsibility on particular areas which will be discussed and agreed with the existing Co-Director and Trustee Board.

We are recruiting for a Legal and Support Services Assistant to act as a first point of contact for the charity and assist the legal and support services teams.

The Legal and Support Services Assistant will help ensure smooth delivery of our services. You will be the first point of contact for new queries and play a key role in providing the information needed and passing enquiries to the relevant service.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday). Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £25,244 FTE with potential annual step increases up to £28,412, plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Overall job purpose

CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial.  We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.

The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.
