We're seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our Assets team and lead reinvestment and retrofit programmes, driving refurbishment and energy improvements across our properties while ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and relevant standards and delivering responsive and planned maintenance to St Mungo’s housing portfolio alongside the team.

This role of Reinvestment and Retrofit Works Project Manager is essential to improving our housing stock quality and reducing carbon emissions. Other Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Senior Project Manager in ensuring refurbishment/retrofit programmes meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and programme schedules.
• Overseeing the design, procurement, and delivery of refurbishment/retrofit projects.
• Build relationships with partner organisations, including the GLA, Homes England, and Local Authorities.
• Managing projects and contracts for reinvestment/retrofit initiatives.
• Contributing to organisational strategies in reinvestment, safety, PIE (psychologically informed environments), and sustainability.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing Decent Homes Standards , working alongside an innovative Property Services Team to improve housing for people experiencing homelessness.

To succeed you should demonstrate the below:

• Qualified in the built environment (RIBA, RICS, CIOB) with experience managing reinvestment and retrofit programmes, budgets, and stakeholders (e.g., QS, Architect, Contractor), ideally in social housing or local authority.
• Skilled in financial appraisal, risk management, value-driven efficiency, and transformational change.
• Experience in design development, environmental standards, and working with Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, and Designers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced project management expertise or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
• Knowledge of funding applications for retrofit and decarbonisation projects, and construction/technical expertise, including JCT, Building Regulations, and related legislation.

The Organisation

The Winchester Diocesan Board of Finance (WDBF) is a Charitable Company established under the Diocesan Boards of Finance Measure 1925. The Data and Statistics Analysist will play a vital role in supporting the parishes and communities of our Diocese through the collection, analysis, and management of data and statistics in connection with congregations, finances, and community impact. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data management and a commitment to using information to inform decision-making and strategic planning within the diocese.

The main responsibilities of this varied position are data collection and management, statistical analysis and reporting, strategic planning support, database maintenance and development, providing training and support to diocesan staff and parishes and acting as a point of contact for data-related inquires as well as ensuring all data handlining processes are in compliance with relevant data protection legislation and diocesan privacy policies.

About the role

STOPAIDS mobilises civil society, parliamentarians, the public and the media to influence decision-makers in the UK and globally on the advocacy impact areas outlined in our 2022-2025 strategy.

In partnership with senior leadership, the Media and Communications Manager will oversee the design and implementation of STOPAIDS' organisational-wide media and communications strategy that amplifies STOPAIDS’ impact and reputation across our key advocacy areas. This work includes providing media and communications guidance, coordination and delivery support to our joint advocacy projects with partners.

Our joint advocacy projects are subject to change, but currently include the Digital Health and Rights Project, the UK Civil Society working group on the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, the UK Civil Society working group for Unitaid and a new coalition to advocate on the future of the global health architecture.

The Media and Communications Manager will support STOPAIDS and our joint advocacy projects to achieve our advocacy objectives through identifying strategic media opportunities, managing relationships with media outlets, and securing external media coverage. They will also work with staff and partners to develop relevant high-quality media products and to develop and manage online communications content for our key social media and website platforms.

As a capable team leader, the Media and Communications Manager provides expert guidance to staff and partners, is comfortable coordinating and facilitating working groups and supports the leadership of people living with and affected by HIV. They also work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that media and communications strategies are aligned and complementary with other organisational strategies and priorities.

As with all STOPAIDS staff, and in partnership with the CEO and the Director for Development & Engagement, they will work to ensure the sustainability of the organisation by contributing 10% of their time to fundraising (to support with application and report writing) and other advocacy support.

The role has a six-month probation period.

Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Many young people who come to us have significant mental health difficulties and have faced barriers to services. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care.

Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Events Manager will develop an events programme that delivers excellent supporter-care to all fundraisers and supporters taking part in an event or organising their own activities, maximising income from these fundraising streams. Harnessing current supporters and leading the growth of our existing network of community and event supporters is key to this role, with a focus on developing pro-active individuals, corporates and groups wanting to engage with and support events. The role will be hands on, focused on operational delivery, supporting crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• A track record in managing and delivering fundraising events, including participant cultivation and stewardship. 
• Evidence of developing supporter-care processes to increase engagement. 
• Experience of the practical application of the Fundraising Regulator, Gift Aid and Data Protection legislation. 
• Experience working with volunteers would be beneficial.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations.  You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.

Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience of leading a team and managing volunteers would be desirable but not essential, however you must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly.

The Kennington Association (KA) is a registered charity and active community organisation based in North Lambeth. In 2013, the KA rescued the historic Lollard Street Adventure Playground (LSAP) from impending closure, brought on by local government spending cuts. With sustained funding from leading grant makers, the playground has since gone from strength to strength, winning Coolest Place to Play in the 2015 London Play Adventure Play Awards. It is now embarking on further development with a capital programme to replace the indoor play spaces, having already replaced the outdoor play structures and built new changing facilities which make our two sports pitches accessible to children with special needs. LSAP is a vibrant, welcoming space where children can engage in free play, and it offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for staff and volunteers alike.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Elephant and Castle (around a 7 - 10 minute walk) onsite working, step free access

Salary: £33,200

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday on rota which can vary between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, and 14:00 - 22:00. You will also take part in the out of hours on call service for managers. Home working available one day per month, one evening per week, and no bank holiday working. 

About the role

We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP), commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. 

You will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. The role includes:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Property and Housing Management, ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements, and repairs and maintenance are regularly reported and completed
• Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management
• Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.

Someone who is knowledgeable in the needs of our residents, particularly within the criminal justice system and can support the team in delivering excellence. You will be driven with passion for what we do, and be able to work flexibly to meet service needs, providing new ideas and opportunities to develop the service further to continue to achieve excellence!

• Experience of working within a criminal justice system environment
• Ability to lead a team to achieve service KPI's
• Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team on all aspects of the service such as resident related enquiries which can include housing, mental health support, signposting
• Ability to promote the service externally to enhance reputation in the area and with partner organisations
• Willingness and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
• IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
• Understanding and/or practical knowledge of the social and societal marginalisation that can be attached to people with mental health issues, addiction, exploitation, homelessness and within the criminal justice system

The Role

As our Biodiversity Manager, you will lead the delivery of our Biodiversity Framework 2023-2030.

Overseeing conservation projects and habitat enhancement across some of London’s most ecologically important green spaces, you’ll drive the integration of biodiversity objectives into park management plans and annual operations.

You’ll lead and support contractors, staff, and volunteers to implement biodiversity initiatives across the parks, from ancient woodlands and acid grasslands to ponds and historic landscapes.

About You

• Experience developing and delivering biodiversity and/or wildlife conservation projects and programmes

• Evidence of using national and regional legislation and policy relevant to biodiversity conservation, planning guidance, site designation for wildlife conservation and species status designations
• An understanding of ecological land management principles and conservation of historic park landscapes
• Practical conservation and habitat management skills
• A relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in wildlife conservation or environmental studies

Our Topping Mill Service provides stable transition accommodation and support, to people over the age of 18, for up to five years. Our supported living accommodation provides person-centred support, based on their recovery journey. This will enable users to move onto housing within the community. Topping Mill consists of 14 self-contained flats, along with a shared lounge on both the ground and first floor. 

This position requires some flexibility around working patterns to meet the needs of the service. Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, with some evening weekend work if required.
