As Supporter Care Officer you’ll help to build our fundraising activities by working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to grow, diversify and sustain our income generation. You’ll provide excellent care and guidance to our supporters and create plans to grow our activities across individual giving, challenge and community fundraising. We’re in the early stages of growth and this new role offers an exciting opportunity to help build a fundraising department from the ground up.
You’ll have some experience in fundraising and/or the charity sector and will be keen to develop your skills and work across multiple functions in a small, fast-moving team. Alternatively, you might be looking for an entry route into fundraising as a career path and have suitable transferable skills and a growth mind-set.
You’ll be excited by the challenge of helping to build our fundraising department from the start point, and driven by the opportunity to facilitate change that really counts in the long-term. Role purpose
Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Advice Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project.
The Advice Worker will be required to work within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS), adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

1. Job Purpose
The Senior Mental Health Support Worker will provide time-limited, one-to-one emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing low to moderate mental health challenges, including those with complex needs. This role involves conducting initial referral needs and risk assessments, developing personalised support plans, and delivering face-to-face, remote, and, in rare cases, home-based support.
The postholder will also take a lead role in supporting and supervising 1-1 Support Buddy volunteers, ensuring they are well-trained, supported, and delivering high-quality interventions. Additionally, the role requires managing complex cases, offering tailored interventions, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure appropriate care pathways are in place.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
- To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
- To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.

The Role
The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. About the role
As a key senior member of The Lighthouse team, you will play a vital part in helping people experiencing or at risk of a mental health crisis, in partnership with our mental health nursing and allied health care professional colleagues from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will supervise peer staff on shift, as well providing direct support to service users. These posts will involve 4pm-12midnight shifts on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays. Role Purpose

Purpose of the post
The Engagement and Involvement Lead will engage with young people, families, schools and other interest-holders in the process of designing, delivering and ensuring the best outputs from the Adolescent Health Study, and is critical for the success of the project. We are at the early stages of laying the foundations for this and in this new role we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to co-ordinate and lead AHS’s cross-UK participant and public involvement and engagement activities.
This is a role that requires high levels of confidence, autonomy, enthusiasm and skill. The postholder will be responsible for delivering the project’s new Engagement and Involvement Strategy, including: establishing and coordinating a Young Persons’ Advisory Group for AHS; developing and delivering AHS public engagement and involvement activities; outsourcing and supervising engagement and involvement activities that are better provided by external partners; scoping and advising on which routes for involvement and engagement activities are best suited to different tasks.
Main responsibilities
Planning & strategy delivery
· Ensuring the study delivers the values and approaches set out in the AHS engagement and involvement strategy
· Planning, delivering and reporting on an ongoing, regular and important programme of engagement events and activities
· Reviewing/revising/adding to existing policies, processes and procedures to support effective working together with people and communities (such as reimbursement, compensation, making reasonable adjustments)
· Developing and implementing appropriate evaluation, monitoring and reporting of Community Engagement & Involvement
· Keeping up to date with good practice & sector advances and sharing these with the AHS team.
Practical engagement and involvement
· Developing methods to enhance engagement and involvement, and helping to build positive relationships with young people and stakeholder groups, including charities, third sector & advocacy groups
· Overseeing day-to-day planning & delivery of a high-quality engagement and involvement programme. To include, for example:
o Managing and supporting Youth Advisors
o Recruiting and running a standing Young People’s Advisory Group (YPAG)
o Organising & delivering other ad hoc engagement activities as necessary
· Securing external partners where necessary, and managing contracts and delivery of their work across the UK

National Numeracy supports volunteers from our corporate partners to deliver sessions in primary schools
that inspire children to see the value of maths in the real world. The Programme enables volunteers to
directly support communities with low number confidence and skills, celebrating everyday maths, and
developing the building blocks of social mobility in areas of need.
The new Programmes Assistant will work with the Volunteering Manager and wider Programmes Team to
deliver this exciting Programme. The role will involve working with internal team members and external
partners to assist with delivery, including recruitment of volunteers and schools, training of volunteers,
resource delivery and preparation, feedback, data collection and associated admin. The Programmes
Assistant will be the first point of contact for volunteers, schools and partner organisations.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to respond to the fast-paced work around the busiest
periods of the year for the Programme. It’s not imperative that you come from the education or charity

Annual leave: 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum
Salary: £25,890 a year plus NI and pension contributions
Location: ICN office in Bournemouth. Regular travel across BCP area
International Care Network is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. The UASC team provide Ofsted regulated supported accommodation to asylum seeking young people referred by various local authorities. We are looking for an experienced support worker to work within the UASC team to provide regular support to vulnerable asylum-seeking young people aged 16 to 24.
