Job Summary
CAAS provides an Autism and ADHD Support Service across the 8 boroughs of NW London from our base in Eastcote and offices around London. We offer information, advice, and support to ADHD/Autistic people, their families, and professionals, with the aim of improving quality of life and building neurodivergent-aware communities.
In this role, you will join the established CAAS adult team to support, educate, and empower ADHD/Autistic adults (diagnosed or self-identified) across NW London.
You will:
· Provide one-to-one information, advice, and practical task-based support.
· Facilitate online and in-person peer groups, courses and workshops sessions.
· Help develop resources that increase understanding of ADHD/Autism and pathways to support.
· Signpost to local and national services, community groups, and specialist support.
· Work with professionals to share good practice and promote reasonable adjustments so services are more accessible to ADHD/Autistic adults including delivering short training sessions to professionals.
The role requires:
· A strong commitment to supporting ADHD/Autistic adults to improve quality of life and self-advocacy.
· Excellent communication and active listening skills, including the ability to adapt to different communication preferences.
· Excellent organisation and record-keeping.
· Confidence in group facilitation and delivering training.
· Ability to collaborate across health, social care, education, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities – Supporting ADHD/ Autistic Adults
Providing individualised task-based support
· Provide one-to-one ad hoc, tailored support for pre-and post-diagnosis (with the support to be co-produced by the service user). This support may include, but is not limited to:
· Practical support with communication or executive functioning tasks and activities such as making calls, form filling, applying for benefits, and planning their week.
· Working within a “help you to do it” model, encouraging skill building and self-advocacy.
· Support with applications for further education and employment
· Maintain and update our public-facing ADHD Resource Board, and foster relationships with other support organisations to strengthen our signposting and referral pathways.
Facilitate Support Groups
· Facilitate twice-monthly ADHD Groups.
· Facilitate Parent and Carers Support group.
· Facilitate monthly pre-diagnosis support group.
· Facilitate Coffee Connect social group for ADHD and autistic adults.
· Facilitate quarterly Professional Connect Forum.
· When agreed in advance with manager provide cover for other colleagues’ projects.
Facilitate Courses and Workshops
· Deliver a 6-week Understanding my ADHD Course for newly diagnosed ADHD adults.
Front of house support and referrals process
The Specialist Adult ADHD/Autism Advisor (SAAA) will be expected to answer both written and telephone enquiries from members of the public about CAAS services, with a warm and welcoming style, so clients feel comfortable to attend our services.
SAAA will be expected to welcome visitors to the centre and provide information about CAAS and The SAAA will provide front-of-house support, welcoming visitors, answering queries, and managing the referrals process, including CRM updates, triage, and liaising with referrers.
CAAS offers a wide range of adult services, so SAAA will be expected to proactively support clients in accessing the appropriate services and provide consistent follow-up and communication.
Other Responsibilities - Wider support
The SAAA will be expected to contribute to the support and empowerment of ADHD and autistic adults and their families in a range of other ways, such as:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with local statutory and voluntary services, particularly within health, social care, and social prescribing teams.
· Represent CAAS by attending relevant meetings to ensure active links with local authority and voluntary sector partners.
· Stay informed about national and local developments related to ADHD/autistic adults, identifying opportunities to raise awareness and influence the development of appropriate services and support.
· Contribute to the development and delivery of training for professionals and the community by:
· Using inclusive, evidence-based language and approaches
· Tailoring content to meet the needs of different audiences
· Supporting outreach and promotion of CAAS’s training offer related to ADHD and autism in adults
Other Responsibilities - Organisational
· To create resources and content to be used within our adult services by clients and colleagues.
· To provide written reports as required by professional agencies and CAAS.
· Assist in promoting the organisation’s services.
· Attend regular supervision and training sessions.
· Ensure project monitoring and reporting requirements are met.
· Provide regular progress reports to the Adult Service Manager/Lead.

· Qualified facilitator / demonstratable experience in facilitating groups and delivering training.

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the Martha Jones House team.
Thames Reach’s hostels are transitional spaces where a 24 hour staff team support people to move in, assess their needs, and quickly identify the best place for them to move on to next. Skilled staff teams develop personalised support plans to ensure people are ready to move on and are accessing support with their health, substance misuse, criminal justice and life skills needs

About the Project
Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been awarded Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service (WithYOUth).
The WithYOUth Service is an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and Hertfordshire Mind Network to provide a countywide digital service that is accessible to children and young people aged 5 – 18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/ or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.
Purpose of Post
As a CYP Support Worker you will be responsible for delivering this exciting service as part of a wider team, and whilst experience is advantageous, the most important thing to us and the children and young people we support is having the right values, skills and commitment to being part of this dynamic, new provision.
Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.

About the role
Kinship Minds is a transformative programme that enhances the support we provide to kinship carers in England and Wales.
Our goal is to build kinship carers' confidence and equip them with the knowledge and skills to support children in their care—especially in recognising and responding to early signs of mental health issues.
We are at the beginning of our journey to embed therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches across all areas of service delivery. This includes one-to-one support, digital resources and training, and peer support networks.
The Strategic Trauma-Informed Practitioner will lead this transition, helping us move from a trauma-sensitive organisation on a journey that becomes trauma-aware, trauma-informed, and ultimately trauma-responsive. This role is available as hybrid / remote or on-site (London)

You will need to be able to step into this role quickly, bringing your experience of building and developing trauma informed approaches in complex services.

What you'll be doing:
This strategic and hands-on role will help Kinship strengthen its therapeutic offer and build the confidence and capacity of staff and kinship carers to understand trauma and the impact it has, and strategies to support. We are particularly interested in experience in developing trauma-informed parenting training and resources.
The postholder will play a key role in developing and manualising our trauma-informed approach across core services: Kinship Connected, Kinship Reach, our Advice Service, and Peer Support Service. It will work with subject matter experts to develop trauma-informed approaches, toolkits, and resources for everyday service delivery, based on the needs of kinship carers and their families.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and lead Kinship’s trauma-informed strategy, ensuring the implementation of trauma-informed principles across all service delivery (for example using Dr Karen Treisman’s approach).

Lead the development and manualisation of trauma-informed practice across Kinship Connected, Kinship Reach, the Advice Service, and the Peer Support Service. This includes resources, approach and content.

Develop and deliver capacity-building approaches and resources for kinship carers to help them identify and respond to trauma and mental health needs in children.

Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to develop self-guided training, toolkits, and multimedia resources.

Represent Kinship at external events and meetings to raise awareness of the services and to influence other organisations, policy and practice.
Knowledge, abilities, skills and experience:

A qualified trauma-informed practitioner with significant experience in delivering or developing trauma-informed services.

About the Project
Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in psychiatric hospitals across Hertfordshire, based at Kingfisher Court in Radlett.
About the Role:
The Bounce Back worker will use a recovery orientated approach working with patients on the ward, and in the local community, including in people’s homes.
The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Kingfisher Court or Albany Lodge and Herts Mind Network Centres, promoting joint working between Kingfisher Court staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.
The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 10 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patient’s homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.
The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive referrals from the ward teams at Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
- Provide practical and emotional support to encourage patients to develop their independence within their local community.
- Facilitate a smooth discharge from hospital back to the community.

We are searching for a Peer Mentor Facilitator to join our mental health services. The role of the peer mentor facilitator will be to help with the smooth running of the Mind BLMK mentoring service and act as a mentor to service users. Our peer support services are a key element of our provisions, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the use of volunteer peer mentors across Bedfordshire, in line with Mind BLMK’s peer support model, operational policies and procedures (assessments, Mentor/Mentee introductions, goal setting, reviews).

About the Project
Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver support in the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre (MHUCC) at Lister Hospital.
The MHUCC provides a dedicated space and service for rapid mental health assessment, intervention, and referral, thereby enhancing the quality of care and optimising use of systemwide resources. It provides 24-hour access to specialist mental health assessment aimed at supporting service users to access the least restrictive care and treatment options. It creates a systemwide response to acute mental health crisis that enables people’s needs to be met with the right care at the right time.
About the Role:
The Support, Time and Recovery (STAR) Worker will be based at the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre at Lister Hospital, promoting joint working and creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.
The STAR workers will work closely with individuals in a mental health crisis currently in the MHUCC, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect.
You will have a key role with safe and supportive observations and attending to the service users on the unit. You will provide support for carers and liaise with the wider services to support smooth and timely discharge of service users back to the community.

- To provide a consistent presence in the MHUCC for individuals with mental health needs to access for support.
- To advocate for service users, explaining organisations and pathways.
- To provide immediate information and advice about managing wellbeing, reducing risk and onward signposting and referral into wider HMN services and VCFSE organisations.
- To facilitate a clear and easily accessible pathway into the wider Nightlight Crisis Alternative services for individuals, to support timely MHUCC discharge, as an alternative to statutory crisis intervention, or as a supplement to wider care and treatment plans.

- To develop sound and extensive knowledge of local resources to support in enabling appropriate referrals where necessary.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our HR team based in London.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The HR team at Centrepoint is a small, friendly, and proactive team who focus on high levels of delivery, continuous improvement, and putting their colleagues first.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we launch our refreshed 3 year People Strategy. Key to the successful delivery of the strategy is embedding a business partnering model within the organisation. This is a new way of working for the organisation and so we are seeking candidates who are able to drive change and gain buy in from senior and junior stakeholders.
The role with therefore require a resilient, proactive, hands-on HR expert who can manage a varied workload and deliver positive outcomes for colleagues. You will need to be comfortable dealing with and managing change as well as being able to respectfully challenge established practices and build strong relationships built on trust.
You will also need to have a strong ER background as advising and supporting your stakeholders on ER matters will be a key part of this role.
This role offers an opportunity to make a real difference, contributing to people projects that will have a positive influence across Centrepoint and supporting our day to day operations as well as ensuring we deliver our strategic objectives.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engaging with colleagues and stakeholders to embed people team initiatives in directorates
- Lead on a high volume of ER work
- Line manage, motivate and develop the HR Advisor
- Support senior leaders to identify individual and team strengths, addressing development requirements
- Build positive relationships and networks inside and outside Centrepoint
- Question and listen to understand colleagues and stakeholder needs, identifying common themes which support your decisions and actions
- Actively seek out opportunities to challenge and drive the delivery of own and team objectives, supporting and encouraging others to do the same
- Gather, analyse and interpret data and information to inform decision making
Leading people projects that enhance the People team offering and have a positive impact on all colleagues
