Job Title: Recovery Worker
Location: Churchfield West Ealing - Unfortunately there is no step free access available on this site.
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday from 08:00 - 20:30 including a mix of longer shifts 3 - 4 days a week. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements such as bank holidays and evenings.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness.
In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
- Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
- Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
- Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins
- Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service
About You

- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly around multiple and complex needs and homelessness
- Ability to show empathy and compassion to our residents, and different challenges they face
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
- Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
- Understanding of the different needs people with multiple and complex needs have and be aware of the social marginalisation that can be attached to people who face personal challenges

Your Day-to-Day
- Manage and monitor outsourced Hard FM (M&E, compliance testing, maintenance) and Soft FM (cleaning, security, waste) contracts.
- Carry out regular site visits and inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Oversee helpdesk/ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution of issues across sites.
- Support statutory compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene, gas safety, and environmental management.
- Lead contract reviews, procurement processes, and service provider performance evaluations.
- Produce dashboards, KPI reports, and analysis to track FM performance and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational needs and minimise service disruption.
- Contribute to business continuity, health and safety, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications, Training and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience managing FM services across a multi-site estate with outsourced delivery models.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Strong knowledge of facilities operations, statutory compliance, and health & safety legislation.
- Experience managing supplier performance and contract delivery.
- Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel between sites as required.
Desirable:
- Experience in the charity, public sector, or social housing environment.
- Familiarity with CAFM/helpdesk systems.
- IWFM qualification
- Awareness of sustainability and energy efficiency practices in FM.

We’re looking for:
- experience in the delivery of community based services and support, including volunteer led services, events and services delivered by third parties. Including experience in quality assurance, development and meeting key performance indicators and ensuring community input and satisfaction.
- experience and excellent working knowledge of volunteering and volunteer management and leadership
- substantial experience of successfully leading and managing a large and geographically dispersed team of staff and volunteers, embedding change and fostering a high performing culture.
- substantial experience of working in a senior leadership team determining strategic direction, financial planning and monitoring and ensuring successful delivery.

Asylum Aid is seeking a solicitor and IAAS-accredited senior caseworker to join its Public Law team, with experience in immigration legal aid, judicial review, and asylum and human rights law. The role involves managing a complex caseload of asylum, trafficking, human rights, and public law claims, providing high-quality legal advice and representation, and conducting judicial review challenges in the Administrative Court and Upper Tribunal. Job Purpose
The weekend Home & Settle Project Officer is responsible for responding to referrals received over the weekend from both Royal London Hospital & Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will work with the manager on Friday to deliver services and plan visits on the weekend for you to attend.  
The service supports people returning after a stay in hospital, helping them to settle back at home, regain confidence and support with some practical tasks, e.g. shopping/cleaning.  You will manage referrals, carry out assessments, and in liaison with the manager, allocate service users to Discharge and Settle Worker caseloads. You will provide direct frontline support and co-ordinate visits to the service users’ home in preparation for their return home. You will work collaboratively to lead and manage the weekend service to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users.  The service is time limited, up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust, build confidence, and settle back in their homes. 
Key Tasks
- 
	Act as the first point of contact for all referrals over the weekend across both hospitals. 
- 
	Meet with patients in the community and/or hospital and carrying out assessments and risk assessments.

	Enter referrals on to AUKEL’s case management system (currently Charity Log) in accordance with GDPR guidelines.

	Allocate referrals to Discharge and Settle workers (in the week) using tech available (currently the Call Round App), training will be available.

Respite and Care Executives play a significant role in enabling our beneficiaries to continue to be independent for as long as possible and when/if they require formal care, they can support them during this time too. They work closely with the Advocacy Team and the Friendships and Connections team to ensure that all their needs are met.
We are looking for a candidate to cover Maternity Leave for 14 months. They will work alongside the current post holder and the other team members for 2 months to learn the role and take over existing cases. They will form part of the existing Respite, Care and Advocacy Team and work closely with other members of the team as well as other colleagues in the Operations Directorate (mainly Welfare).
An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages as well as professionals such as external case working organisations, RAF stations, care providers, those who have lasting power of attorney (LPA). You must have an understanding of the social care system and the Mental Capacity Act.
The role is based in our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Standard DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

The Early Intervention Coordinator is a key role within the School Based Needs Service, working as part of the borough and district-based community teams, comprised of NHS staff and third sector workforce under the umbrella of The Surrey Wellbeing Partnership. This team will build support around schools offering a wide menu of services across a cluster of schools based on borough/district boundaries.
The role of the EIC is to deliver and support children and young people through one- to- one direct work, small group sessions and signposting to specialist services. These interventions will be delivered across a network of secondary schools in the Runnymede, Surrey Heath and Waverley areas.
Responsibilities
1. Design, deliver and review evidence-based interventions for children and young people which aim to improve mental health and well-being and build on existing strengths
• Assess the needs and strengths of the referred young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change (Goal Based Outcome Assessments).
• Manage own caseload of children and young people facing a wide range of issues, in both one to one and group settings, to address emerging needs and help build resilience, develop coping strategies and improve their mental health & wellbeing.
