The Role: Family Co-ordinator (Domestic Abuse Lead)
This vital role leads the delivery of Home-Start Lambeth's domestic abuse work, with a particular focus on empowering survivors to recover and build brilliant new lives for themselves and their children. You will be responsible for managing and delivering the Freedom Programme, recruiting attendees, and continuously developing the program to meet the evolving needs of survivors. You will also oversee volunteer-delivered support to families in their homes to ensure it is targeted and effective in helping families achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leading Domestic Abuse Support: Spearhead Home-Start Lambeth's domestic abuse initiatives, including the development and delivery of the Freedom Programme, ensuring it effectively supports survivors.
· Empowering Survivors: Facilitate recovery and growth for survivors of domestic abuse, helping them build a new life for them and their children.
· Family Assessment and Support: Assess the needs of referred families and oversee volunteer-delivered support to achieve family goals.
· Volunteer Management: Contribute to the recruitment, selection, training, and ongoing support and supervision of our brilliant volunteers.
· Safeguarding: Undertake designated responsibilities to safeguard and promote children’s welfare and that of programme attendees.
· Partnership Working: Build effective relationships with referrers and other partners to promote Home-Start's services across the borough.
· Quality and Compliance: Ensure a high standard of service delivery, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to Home-Start Standards and Methods of Practice.
What we are looking for (Essential):
- A good standard of education (A level, NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- Direct experience working with children/families from diverse backgrounds.
- Direct experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
- A strong understanding of the needs of domestic abuse survivors and families with children under five
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to children and families.
- Commitment to good safeguarding practice and professional confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including experience providing support over the telephone and through video conferencing.
- Ability to work flexibly, including regular evening work
Desirable, but not essential:
- Qualification in group-based support delivery.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., health visitor, teacher, social worker, childcare).
- An Independent Domestic Violence Advocate qualification or other qualifications in tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) and/or trauma-based approaches.
- Experience of delivering The Freedom Programme.
- Experience of developing and delivering training and supporting/performance managing volunteers.
- Knowledge of Lambeth and Lambeth children’s support services.
Salary: £31,000 FTE pro rata (actual salary £15,943 p.a.)
Hours: 18 hours per week, including regular evening work, (currently Tuesdays 6:45 PM - 9:15 PM for the Freedom Programme).

About you
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an understanding of dementia, and the needs of those living with and those caring for people with the condition. We are looking for someone who is approachable and knowledgeable to join our experienced and passionate team.
Our Dementia Adviser’s provide person centred support for those living with dementia; in their home, face to face, over the telephone and virtually; to give people the tools, knowledge and strategies to live well and make informed decisions about their future. As a community-based worker, you will be required to attend a range of meetings, appointments and venues as well as working from home.

About the Role
Our Ayrshire and Arran Infant Feeding Peer Support Project is commissioned by NHS Ayrshire and Arran to offer infant feeding support as part of the integrated Infant Feeding service. The support is delivered, on a one to one basis to the families from an antenatal through to when your baby is 6-8 weeks old, in families homes, via phone, text and video calls.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Providing one to one breastfeeding support to families within Ayrshire and Arran, at peoples homes, via phone, text and video calls.
· Inputting information onto patients records within platforms used by the health professionals in the region.
· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.
· To attend regular supervision/support sessions.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Ayrshire and Arran area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breast milk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.
The role is 16 hours per week which to be worked in 4 hours shifts over 4 days. This role is based within the community across Ayrshire and Arran.

The primary focus of the Data Officer role is data quality. Data Officers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Helpline data through a data cleaning regime, maintaining adherence to published data standards. Data Officers will also work with Helpline Advisors to address common data errors and improve quality at point of entry. Additionally, data Officers will be involved in analysis of data for periodic statistical publications as well as ad-hoc requests and bespoke reports. Data officers will also contribute to the ongoing improvements of the Helpline’s data model and Salesforce instance.
Key responsibilities:
1. Complete data cleaning for Helpline cases in line with Helpline data standards
2. Support management to formalise data standards and contribute ideas to streamline or update the data model to ensure capture of relevant data
3. Utilise Salesforce reporting and Excel tools to extract and analyse data for statistical reports
4. Support the Data Manager to implement data model changes and basic Salesforce changes such as creating and updating fields and objects, implementing validation rules, and updating page layouts

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To support the Area Manager / Operations Director in ensuring the Charity’s development and growth in ways that are relevant and in line with operational services and charitable objectives.
To ensure the Charity achieves its aims and objectives and fulfils its operational plan effectively by providing high quality intervention, providing person centred support for at-risk young people.
To have key responsibilities in reducing risk and delivery of our Shaping Futures Intervention this is our Short-Term Intervention Programme (STIP) in Buckinghamshire.
This project is funded for the next 18 months, we will be working closely with partners to extend this funding agreement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate onboarding of young people, including the initial assessment, and developing 12 individualised sessions bespoke to each young person.
- Ensure a 12-week programme is written and sent to the young person with agreed outcomes after initial meeting.
- Responsible for a case load of young people up to 20 young people at any one time.
- Lead sessions and activities with appropriate resources to empower young people to make more positive choices to reduce violent behaviours, reduce risk of exploitation and other offending behaviours.
- Support the multi-agency network for the young people you are working with. Report any safeguarding concerns to the DSL, with support from your line manager.
- Work in partnership with the Operations team to develop opportunities in line with the intervention if needed.
- Attend stakeholder meetings where needed.
- Uphold Caudwell Youth’s values
- Effectively report to your line manager complaints and compliments relating to the programme
- Build knowledge of local strategies, linking in with network forums.
- Develop relationships and partnerships with local employers, benefit agencies, training establishments to enable opportunities for young people.

- Collect outcomes data with tools provided by Caudwell Youth.
- Embed engagement strategy with the young people in your area.
- Coordinate a safe exit of young people effectively, signposting to Caudwell Youth’s mentoring service (if appropriate) or externally.

Coordination and Development
- With support from your line manager, ensure the delivery, development of services, community-based activities, and development opportunities are in line with regulatory requirements, our own policies, including safeguarding, social media, health & safety and data protection.
- Develop services and activities and opportunities for inclusion, community engagement and personal development for young people as agreed with your line manager.
- Ensure appropriate planning, risk assessment and evaluation for all activities relating to your area of responsibility is completed, with support from your line manager where appropriate.
- In collaboration with the Operations team, support activities for the needs of the young people across the charity’s wider geographies.
Administration:
- Maintain an excellent standard of administration, record keeping and reporting of all work undertaken in line with data protection and Caudwell Youth’s policies and procedures.
- Monitor all activities for your area against targets and objectives.
- Undertake proactive activities in line with our policies and good practice.
Partnership and Liaison:
- Work closely with the team and the stakeholder steering group to promote good communication and shared focus.
- Ensure effective, relevant and appropriate communication at all times.
- Represent the Charity to other organisations, funders and supporters.
- Establish and develop good relationships with other charities and agencies to increase partnership and effective joint working where appropriate.

About you:
We are seeking someone who is comfortable and experienced working in a small company or charity, understanding that our capacity and resources are limited. A 'can do' attitude and a motivated approach are essential. While direct experience with homelessness may not be necessary, you should have a solid understanding of the common challenges faced by those who have been homeless. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to identify and promptly address risks or safeguarding concerns. Empathy, attentive listening, and strong verbal communication skills are also key requirements. Proficiency with IT and the ability to maintain up-to-date records in our database are necessary. Additionally, you should have the tools to maintain your well-being in what can be a challenging but rewarding role. We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our Horsham Y team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Safety and security
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house welcome to residents, visitors and staff, and ensure the building is safe, secure quiet and welcoming
- Maximise the wellbeing of residents and visitors by ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and house rules, all within the terms of tenancy agreements
- Assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development

Engagement with residents
