This exciting partnership provides specialist advocacy for women whose experience of violence (VAWG) intersects with multiple and severe disadvantage. We work with women who are frequently excluded from mainstream services and/or find it hard to engage with support which increases their vulnerability and risk.  Our assertive outreach approach, working across eight London boroughs, enables women to access support, increase their self-esteem, reduce their risk and make safe choices.

About the role

Solace Women’s Aid is delighted to be the lead partner for this innovative cross-borough project, funded by MOPAC. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Psychologist to use their knowledge and skills in psychological theory and practice to support non-clinical advocates working with women experiencing VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage.

About you

You will have experience working as a clinical, counselling or forensic psychologist. Your role will include fostering trauma-informed practice in the project, providing clinical support to non-clinical advocates through conducting ongoing Reflective Practice and clinical supervision.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and VAWG and a strong understanding of how this can make it difficult for women to engage with support. You will have worked with people experiencing various aspects of severe and multiple disadvantage: homelessness, substance use, mental health issues, insecure immigration status, prostitution, offending history and children taken into Care.

Purpose of the post: Assist in the delivery of specialised, holistic support to adults and families who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse, harm and violence
Specific responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of specialist, trauma-informed support to adults and/or families living in refuge recognising the impact of domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence, and responding with empathy, respect, and consistency.

Contribute to an environment where support is psychologically informed, compassionate, equitable, and grounded in integrity—where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported.

Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in line with legislation and organisational policies, maintaining a trauma-informed, reporting concerns to your line manager without delay

Carry out Initial Contact Assessments, working alongside refuge or on call colleagues identifying together which support options best meet the individual's needs and preferences, prioritising need and risk

Support individuals to access refuge, including arranging transport if needed, offering a warm and respectful welcome, meeting immediate needs (e.g. donated clothing, food), and helping them settle into their accommodation.

Assist individuals in understanding and completing initial paperwork in a timely and supportive manner, including licence agreements, House Expectations, housing benefit claims, and service charge arrangements.

Undertake basic support activities, as requested by a Support Worker or senior colleague, in line with an individual’s support plan, needs assessment, risk assessment, safety plan and licence agreement/contract

Support individuals to maintain their licence/contract agreement through reflective, strengths-based conversations around any minor breaches, and escalating serious concerns to senior colleagues.

Keep Routes to Support updated with current refuge vacancies to support access and referrals

Facilitate opportunities for connection and community among residents, including inclusive evening and weekend communal activities.

Ensure contributions to records are factual, person-centred, accurate, timely, and confidential, using Cyfannol’s Case Management System and other internal records.

Encourage and support adults and children to have a voice within Cyfannol and the wider sector, for example by completing surveys, sharing feedback, and participating in relevant events
Assist in providing the organisation’s out of hours response: 

• Respond to all out of hours phone calls from the Live Fear Free Helpline, other refuges or Tier 2 and 3 on call colleagues across Cyfannol ensuring effective communication and continuity of support across the team.
• Undertake assessments for refuges, with support from on-call colleagues, to make timely and safe decisions based on individual need and risk.
• Provide support to colleagues and residents in the event of an incident or emergency at another refuge, contributing to a coordinated and calm response.
• Liaise with 2nd and 3rd tier colleagues as needed, ensuring effective communication and continuity of support across the team.
• Complete handovers at the end of each shift, both face to face and via email, to ensure consistency, safety and shared understanding across the team.

Housing Management:

Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming, clean, and calm refuge environment that supports wellbeing and dignity.

Carry out routine monitoring of CCTV and security systems to help maintain a secure setting for residents and staff.

Complete and record daily and weekly health and safety checks as directed by the Facilities Coordinator, ensuring refuge spaces meet required standards.

Ensure communal areas are safe and secure before the start of sleep-in shifts, creating a settled environment for the night.
Report repairs and maintenance issues promptly, liaising directly with landlords or housing associations, and involving the Facilities Coordinator when needed.

Provide access to contractors attending the building and monitor their presence to ensure safety and accountability.
Advise line manager of any needs relating to furnishings, equipment, or refuge infrastructure.

Monitor stock levels of consumables and first aid supplies, supporting the ordering process as needed.

Support Cyfannol’s carbon reduction goals by switching off lights and equipment not in use and promoting sustainable practices.

Ensure recycling and refuse are ready for collection on designated days, and support residents to engage with these routines.

Clean private bedrooms/flats between occupancies as promptly as possible to prepare for Routes to Support listings.

Wash and change bed linen, towels, cot bedding, and similar items between occupancies to maintain hygiene and comfort.

Clean communal areas when necessary to uphold standards and minimise health and safety risks, including monitoring residents’ recycling and refuse removal.

Facilitate ‘motivational cleaning’ activities with residents when appropriate, using a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach.

Liaise with community neighbours when necessary, seeking guidance from your line manager to ensure respectful and constructive communication

Purpose of the post:To provide specialist, trauma-informed support to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness because of experiencing domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence 
Specific responsibilities:

1. Deliver specialist, trauma-informed support to a case load of adults and families, recognising the impact of domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence, and responding with empathy, respect, and consistency. #

2. Contribute to an environment where support is psychologically informed, compassionate, equitable, and grounded in integrity—where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported. 

3. Respond to safeguarding concerns in line with legislation and organisational policies, maintaining a trauma-informed, non-judgemental stance that prioritises dignity and emotional safety. 

4. Work collaboratively with the team to provide Hwb cover in line with the agreed rota, ensuring individuals can access planned or emergency appointments, either in person, on the phone or online. 

5. Receive referrals into the service and carry out Initial Contact Assessments collaboratively, identifying the most suitable support options based on individual needs and preferences. Complete risk assessments and develop risk management plans, including the SafeLives DASH risk indicator and safety planning. 

6. Work closely with the team to manage and maintain the outreach waiting list, ensuring timely updates, regular contact, and effective triage for individuals. 

7. Work in partnership with individuals to identify support goals and outcomes, co-developing and regularly reviewing needs assessments, risk assessments, and support/safety plans 

8. Provide clear advocacy, signposting and referrals to internal and external services, guided by the individual’s expressed needs, interests, and readiness —such as social services, police, parenting support, health, legal advice, DWP, housing, education, recreation, and Cyfannol’s internal services (e.g. group work, sexual violence services, counselling). 

9. Build and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with external agencies, and attend multidisciplinary meetings to promote the needs and rights of individuals through trust and partnership.

To support the delivery of WIPs housing programme in Manchester and Trafford, with a focus on women coming into contact with the police and women being released back into the community following a period on remand, providing trauma-informed specialist support to improve housing outcomes for women affected by the criminal justice system.

About the role

The Head of Income Generation and Marketing will play a pivotal role in strengthening the financial sustainability and social impact of our organisation. This 12-month position—open to both employees and consultants—will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive income generation strategy across our three social businesses: our women’s-only gym and studio, our community café, and our meeting room hire service.

The gym embodies our commitment to preventative health and creates an inclusive community where women of all ages and backgrounds can focus on their strength, resilience, and self-care. The gym has seen significant growth in both membership and the breadth of its offer, establishing itself as a trusted and empowering space for women’s health and wellbeing. The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community 

Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.

While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. This work will ensure the café continues to embody our values while contributing significantly to the financial sustainability of The Bridge 

Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact 

Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.

We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. This approach will not only maximise income potential but also strengthen The Bridge’s role as a space where organisations connect, collaborate, and thrive. 

Key responsibilities:

1. Income Generation Strategy 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive income generation strategy for our social businesses (women’s-only gym and studio, café, and meeting room hire). 

• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities while aligning with the organisation’s mission and values. 

• Monitor financial performance and make recommendations to meet growth and sustainability targets.

4. Business Development and Partnerships 

• Together with the CEO, build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organisations, and stakeholders to drive collaboration and income growth. 

• Explore new partnership opportunities that enhance both revenue and social impact. 

5. Line and Task Management 

• Line manage the Café Manager, Health and Wellbeing Manager, Social Media Lead, and Marketing Manager, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management. 

• Task manage the Head of Operations, who oversees room hire services, ensuring alignment with income generation and marketing priorities. 

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting 

• Set measurable targets for income generation and marketing activity and track progress regularly.

Person Specification

Qualifications 

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in business, marketing, social enterprise, or a related field. 

• Professional development in leadership, marketing, or business management is desirable. 

Experience 

• Proven experience of running or scaling a trading/social enterprise business (profit and loss accountability, membership acquisition/retention, pricing strategy, customer marketing). Ideally, specifically in at least one of the key areas of the business.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple business streams or revenue-generating projects. 

• Experience of developing and implementing a marketing strategy and implementation plan for an organisation/social enterprise or social business 

• Strong experience in digital marketing channels (paid social, search engine marketing, email automation, CRM segmentation, Google Analytics) and comfortable analysing digital campaign performance.

We are looking for an Accommodation Adviser for our team based in Humberside, to provide tailored support to women under probation supervision within the community and helping reintegrate into a life outside the justice system.

Key tasks
Casework provision
● Provide high quality casework support to residents (housing, financial, legal, mental health, and physical wellbeing support)

The Ascent Pan London Floating Support Service (PLFSS) provides high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services and counselling. As a partner organisation, Solace is established in the communities/boroughs that we cover and have links and referral pathways. In working together, we can help survivors of domestic abuse, for whom refuge accommodation is not suitable, to create a life for themselves, free from fear and abuse.

About the Role

As a Housing Floating Support Worker, you will help women with practical tenancy sustainment, as well as ongoing support to cope, recover and move towards independence. You will achieve this through:

· Specialist support and safety planning, to reduce risks and harm for survivors and their children

· Ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support, such as legal advice around civil and criminal remedies

· Empowering survivors with information on their rights and options, demystifying complex statutory systems and dispelling myths perpetuated by perpetrators and wider society

· Support to maintain accommodation, or to source permanent accommodation as necessary

· Financial empowerment work to maximise income, including support with debt

· Referral to therapeutic support from Woman’s Trust

Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual ensuring that all of Ella’s premises,  including the office, community hub, and safe houses,  are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and a welcoming environment for staff and service users. Hours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days (Wednesday-Friday). Service Managers are required to complete a monthly van outreach shift (evening hours which can be taken back as TOIL) and to participate in the evening on-call rota (typically once every few months).

After successful completion of probation period, employees have the option to join the 4 Day Week pilot (work 20% less for the same salary).

About the Service

The London Survivors Collective is comprised of seven organisations (The four London Rape Crisis Centres, Galop, Survivors UK, and Respond) working together to provide comprehensive support to victim/survivors of sexual violence across London. Our alliance model enables us to draw on each member’s expertise and provide all victims/survivors with the specific care that is tailored to their needs.

Services are tailored for women, men, non-binary, LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodiverse victim/survivors addressing intersectional and unique needs.

Navigators provide the first response which supports survivors to make informed decisions about the next steps on their recovery journey. Navigators work within a trauma-informed approach, which centres survivor’s holistic needs, recognises strengths and survival strategies and responds to crisis.

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join the London Survivors Collective as a Navigator. You will act as first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and the professionals supporting them, by providing holistic and non-judgemental information, advice and support.

You will support survivors to access additional specialist sexual violence services through trauma-informed triage and assessment.

You will be ensuring diversity and equity is at the centre of the service and service delivery, and that the service continues to be responsive to, and meet the needs of all survivors in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive way.

About You

Successful applicants will have knowledge of sexual violence and its impact on victim/survivors. You will have strong time management and organisational skills, excellent collaborative working skills and knowledge of the rights for survivors of sexual violence. You will also be empathetic and work from a psychologically-informed framework. It is essential that you have experience of using Office Excel and the ability to use an online case management system. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
