Domestic Abuse Women’s Case Worker

37.5 hours per week based at Stockport Women’s Centre

Salary: £26,225 after competencies complete £28,300

Main Aims of the post:

• To support and work with women from Stockport who are experiencing or experienced domestic abuse which will include safety planning, risk assessment, safeguarding, case management and advocacy.
• To hold and manage a caseload, creating and monitoring personalised support plans.
• To deliver group work to women, relating to domestic abuse awareness.
• To provide a weekly drop-in session to women that are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
• To work collaboratively with our domestic abuse partnership as well as other agencies as appropriate to the case.
• To support the Head of Service as she develops the quality standards for The Women’s Centre.
• as ongoing informal consultation to keep supervisor informed of any changes that require management decisions

What You'll Do
You will play a vital role in expanding Rape Crisis South London’s prevention, awareness-raising, and income-generating activities within the Fundraising & Communications team. You will deliver trauma-informed training, workshops, and briefings – rooted in our decade’s long specialist experience — to challenge myths, break the silence around sexual violence, and embed supportive cultures across partner organisations. You will build sustainable partnerships, especially with corporate businesses, not-for-profit agencies, schools, universities and youth settings, that both deepen our impact and help grow our income through funded training and prevention programmes. Rights of Women (ROW) is looking for a woman lawyer to join our team as a Legal Officer working on criminal law.

The postholder will be part of Rights of Women’s Criminal Law team and will play a key role in delivering the organisation’s core services to women who come into contact with the criminal justice system, often as a survivor of sexual or domestic violence, as both victims and as women who have been criminalised.

The post holder will provide specialist legal advice through Rights of Women’s telephone advice lines, contribute to the design and delivery of training, and support the development of accessible legal information through publications and other resources. They will also support survivor engagement and contribute to Rights of Women’s policy work, driving systemic change for women’s rights. 

The Legal Officer will also play a leading role in maintaining and developing Rights of Women’s online peer-to-peer forum for professionals supporting women survivors. This includes supporting the online community, producing legally accurate and relevant content in response to queries and emerging themes, and contributing to a regular online newsletter. 

Salary: £24,286.81 (21 hours / 3 days) per annum (Gross Pay) plus 3% pension contribution. Full-time equivalent (FTE) salary: £ 40,478.01

Women's experiences of gambling harm are still poorly understood across the sector. GamCare's Women's Pathway is changing that, and we're looking for a Training Lead to help lead the way. Birth Companions is a national charity supporting women having their babies in very difficult and complex situations. These include mothers in prison; mothers with insecure immigration status; and mothers who have involvement from children’s social care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system with a specific focus on Substance Use and Trauma.

We exist to end the harm caused by gender-based violence. Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse

The Floating Support Worker will complete risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, and provide ongoing support to survivors of domestic abuse whose level of risk has reduced to medium risk following specialist intervention. The postholder will hold a caseload of survivors requiring practical, emotional and advocacy support to help them increase their safety, access appropriate services, regain independence and work towards their longer-term goals.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised and self-motivated as well as being passionate about ending gender-based violence. You have a “can-do‟ approach and will show demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, hybrid role at 18.75 hours per week. The postholder will work 1.5 days remotely and one day per week from the Enfield office.

The salary for this role is £29,385 - £30,671 (Unqualified) or £30,671 - £33,438 (Qualified), pro-rata for part time hours.

About the Trevi service

Jasmine Mother & Child Family Residential Centre is a CQC-regulated and Ofsted-registered residential family centre. Women can access pregnancy stabilisation support, or live with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures. The service provides structured support and parenting assessments, helping mothers stabilise, stay in recovery and strengthen safe relationships with their children.

About the role

This role focuses on providing a safe, structured setting where risks can be understood properly, support can be put in place, and parenting capacity can be assessed with the child’s safety at the centre.

The successful candidate will also manage the pregnancy stabilisation pathway giving women the chance to engage early, reduce risk, and begin building stability in a supported setting.

What you will do

· You must meet Ofsted Registered Manager status requirements. You will have a good understanding of regulatory standards. You will liaise and cooperate with both regulators and be aware of relevant documentation.

· You will establish positive relationships and maintain effective communication with women, their children, and other involved professionals in their care while developing and implementing individually tailored care and support plans that respect and uphold the dignity and privacy of families living at Jasmine.

· Understand Safeguarding issues and the ability to respond appropriately to any concerns

· Model and maintain a trauma responsive workforce

· Maintain optimal occupancy

What you will bring

· Minimum 2 years' residential childcare experience within the last 5 years

· At least 1 year must be in a supervisory capacity

· NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is required, or working towards or prepared to work towards within 6 months of appointment

· Or a relevant Health Care & Professions Council or Social Work England registration

· Sound working knowledge of Ofsted and current legislation.

· Ability to communicate appropriately with commissioners, funders, women using our services and a multi-disciplinary staff team.

· Strong communication and organisational skills

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Outreach Executive who is passionate about the mission of Smart Works Bristol and committed to helping more women access the support they need to secure employment.

This is a rare opportunity to join Smart Works Bristol at an exciting stage in our journey. As a new charity, we are recruiting our first Outreach Executive, giving you the chance to help shape the role from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in developing our outreach strategy, building partnerships, and influencing how we grow our reach and impact in the years ahead.

In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners across Bristol and the South West, increasing awareness of our service and driving referrals. About the role 

The Survivor Movement and Participation Lead is a strategic leadership role at the heart of the Enhanced Mental Health Pathway (EMHP) Alliance Partnership, dedicated to amplifying survivor voices and driving systemic change.

You will lead the development of a high-quality survivor involvement programme across the Alliance, ensuring that the voices, experiences and expertise of survivors of sexual abuse, sexual assault and sexual violence shape service design, referral pathways, workforce development, communications and evaluation.

This role is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-racist and culturally grounded care frameworks, ensuring survivors are not only heard but actively shape strategies, influence policy and lead change.

Job description 

As the Survivor Movement and Participation Lead you will:

• Design, establish and coordinate an Experts with Lived Experience (ELE) Network, developing a survivor involvement framework that promotes safe, ethical, inclusive and meaningful participation, with appropriate emotional support, safeguarding, debriefing and payment arrangements in place.
• Design, facilitate and evaluate peer support groups and survivor-led spaces, creating opportunities for survivors to influence strategic decision-making, project governance and service evaluation at every stage.
• Train and mentor survivors in facilitation, peer support and leadership, building capacity for survivor-led design, delivery and evaluation of services.
• Lead the co-production and delivery of training with Experts with Lived Experience, covering areas such as trauma-informed practice, responding to disclosures and reducing re-traumatisation, working in partnership with NHS mental health providers, specialist sexual violence services and the voluntary sector.
• Develop tools to assess survivor influence and leadership across programmes and governance, facilitating reflective learning spaces and co-authoring learning briefs and policy insights to promote survivor-led approaches.

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to work with women in custody, including on remand, preparing 
them for, and connecting them with vital community support services on, release.

Key Responsibility Areas
1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy support both in prison and the community, 
to women on remand in HMP Bronzefield, HMP Downview, and HMP Send.
2. Development and maintenance of professional relations in prison and the community.
3. Ensure clear, timely and effective communication and record keeping.
4. Proactively seek to develop your personal and professional practice and contribute to wider 
organisational development.
5. Contribute to building a feminist leadership culture and positive working environment for 
Women in Prison.
