Job Purpose
The role of the central charity is to facilitate member support and the successful operation of the charity, lead strategic projects that work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the global movement and to support the delivery of impactful work in communities that meet our aims.
Like many membership organisations, we need to focus on turning membership decline into membership growth. This role evolved from and is an integral part of the “Reimagining MU” project, where we looked at opportunities to secure the future of the movement.
The post holder will work directly with members and across the charity leading campaigns and programmes that help and support the communities in which we serve, drive membership growth, increase valued engagement and income opportunities, promote Mothers’ Union within the Anglican Church, and build effective relationships with external partners and organisations.
This role will lead the implementation of a suite of existing and new Britain and Ireland programmes which include domestic abuse, social justice, and family issues. Also, to look at new programmes and to manage continual programme reviews. These Mothers’ Union National Programmes are being adopted as best practice frameworks for successful community outreach projects by members in the communities in which we serve. It is envisioned that in resourcing and standardising existing work, these robust programmes will serve as vehicles for volunteer and member recruitment in dioceses in Britain and Ireland and be able to secure strategic partners and external funders to support our work.
Main responsibilities
Programme Development, Implementation and Review – Britain and Ireland
1. Work with the Director of Membership on the continued development, implementation and review of a member-informed national suite of Mothers’ Union programmes.
2. Research, review and develop new member resources, packs, and policies and manage access.
3. Work with the wider Membership team on the design, implementation, and delivery of new membership growth models.
4. Work with the Communications team on campaigns and programme branding and promotion.
5. Procure and manage relationships with programme strategic partners and funders.
Membership Engagement and Support
1. Manage relevant Communities of Interest (representative membership groups) for the different programmes.
2. Contribute campaign materials, articles, written printed and web content as required.
3. Support the membership by overseeing programme enquiries, and delivering resources, communications, webinars, podcasts, and events as required.
4. Working with the Membership Engagement Manager to ensure membership growth is reflected in the programme frameworks as an intended outcome.
5. Working with the Director of Membership and the wider membership team to deliver annual and regional events and conferences including the Annual Gathering, Provincial meetings, networking, and celebratory events.
General
- To manage existing national programmes; and to successfully framework and resource new MU campaigns and community outreach work into standardised, resourced and branded national programmes that are adopted and utilised by members and attract strategic partners to enhance successful outputs and increased income for the charity.
- To work across the charity on supporting the incorporation and delivery of membership and income growth targets and initiatives in the outputs of relevant areas of work.
- To produce and provide reports and resources as required for the Director of Membership.
- To undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Membership.

About the role
The Trusts and Foundations Advisor works strategically within the Partnerships and Business Development team to maximise impact and income by building high value partnerships and securing five, six and seven figure grants.
You will be responsible for building new relationships with prospect donors as well as providing exceptional stewardship of existing donors, and will collaborate closely with other teams in the wider division to create excellent proposals.
You will be expected to develop a strong pipeline of highly engaged Trusts and Foundation Funders committing to multi-year pledges to maximise income and impact, and build relationships based on trust and openness using the support of senior staff and Multi-Country Cluster based colleagues.
You will work collaboratively within the team and beyond, sharing expertise and ideas to create strong cultivation plans and proposals, and you will be expected to think critically about existing processes, aiming to create, adapt and deliver innovative ideas, initiatives and networks to secure impactful and meaningful support for Christian Aid’s programmes.
You will develop relationships with potential donors and partners and represent Christian Aid at appropriate networking events such as conferences and external meetings.
About you
We are looking for a confident fundraiser with significant experience of securing five and six figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations. You will demonstrate a clear understanding understanding of the Trusts and Foundations landscape and market trends, and will be able to employ a wide range of Trusts and Foundations fundraising approaches and strategies.
As a fundraiser, you will have significant experience of responding to the requirements and demands of funders, and demonstrable experience of producing in-depth, motivating and inspiring proposals and funding reports.
You will be able to demonstrate highly developed negotiation and influencing skills, and demonstrable experience of successful networking with internal and external senior stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills across your work.

About the Role
As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records.
About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
You will need:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
- Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

THE VACANCY
Deputy Regional Secretary – Asia Pacific
Location: Based in one of the ITF’s regional offices (Delhi, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo or Hong Kong) with regular international travel across the region.
About the Role
As the Deputy Regional Secretary, you will play a central role in shaping and executing the ITF’s mission across the Asia Pacific. You will work directly with the Regional Secretary to provide political, strategic, and operational leadership, ensuring our work is effective, impactful, and aligned with our global priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Supporting the development and implementation of the regional strategy and work programmes that empower transport workers and their unions.
- Political Analysis: Monitoring political and labour developments to inform the ITF’s strategic responses and campaigning priorities in the region.
- Building Power: Building and maintaining strong relationships with affiliated and prospective unions to grow our membership and strengthen the movement.
- Coordination & Governance: Supporting the work of our regional governance bodies, including elected Vice-Presidents and National Coordinating Committees.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establishing strategic relationships with donor organisations and external partners to secure resources and amplify our impact.
- Championing Equality: Ensuring the leadership of women, young workers, and marginalised groups is central to all our regional strategies and projects.
- Deputisation: Acting on behalf of the Regional Secretary when required, representing the ITF at high-level forums and meetings.
About you
The mission and values of the ITF are of utmost importance and as such, the successful candidate for this role must hold high ethical standards, displaying diligence and integrity when representing the organisation.
We are looking for a purpose-driven individual with significant experience of senior leadership within trade unions or social movements within the Asia Pacific region, including the development and implementation of key organisational strategies within a trade union or social movements context within the Asia Pacific region. The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.
In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator. This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change.
The Drive Head of Operations will play a central role in maintaining strategic oversight of internal operations, including project planning and risk management across workstreams, and partner coordination across the Drive Partnership. This is a senior leadership position providing operational leadership, staff management, and cross-partner coordination to ensure workstreams within the Drive Partnership function effectively, efficiently and in in alignment with the Drive Partnership's core mission.

You will play a key role in supporting the management and scaling of Jangala’s programmes in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be part of Jangala’s programmes department, which leads the delivery of our donor-funded work, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing and nurturing partnerships with grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities, and international agencies.
Supporting Jangala’s community of existing partners who are using Big Box and Get Box technology to connect communities will also be an important part of what you do. Key Tasks
Coordination and Management of service
• Line manage service managers and coordinators, and oversee the good management of all service staff.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual requirements
• Work with other senior managers, ensuring good joined up internal referral pathways, clear communication and joint-working where possible
• Ensure the team is fully conversant with the organisation’s CRM and that this is used effectively to record and manage casework and evidence of outcomes and impact of the service

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading anti-trafficking and human rights charity. We are looking for an inclusive, creative, talented facilitator, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to be our Participation Manager.
The Participation Manager will facilitate survivors of trafficking to use their experiences to support the development of ATLEU’s work and services and to improve policy and practice across the anti-trafficking and legal advice sectors. Working with group members, this individual will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the group (The Changemakers) and the remit of ATLEU’s participation work from January 2026 when the current projects come to a close, ensuring new members are inducted and supported to engage and lead in future projects. The overall aim of the participation and activism work is to integrate survivors at all levels within ATLEU, as well as creating a project that offers different levels of engagement, depending on the interests and capacity of individual group members.
The Participation Manager is a key member of the Rise and Lead project team, which is a groundbreaking new employment pathways project in partnership with Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) and Voice of Domestic Workers for those with experience of human trafficking and migration.
The successful candidate will have direct experience of working with vulnerable individuals, ideally survivors of trafficking, a strong understanding of the challenges survivors face and be committed to shifting power to people with lived experience. They will have a flexible approach and understand what empowerment means in its truest sense, allowing the structure of the work to be led by the needs of the group rather than with a predetermined or fixed idea of what this will look like.

Although just a small team, ATLEU’s work has led to significant changes in law and policy. Since we were established in 2013, we have led the way in ensuring that survivors of trafficking have access to free, independent legal advice by enabling access to legal aid, across the range of issues survivors experience. For example, our litigation against the Legal Aid Agency led to their concession that legal aid provision was insufficient for victims of trafficking and an increase in the number of trafficking compensation cases that legal aid providers were contractually able to assist with each year (from 5 up to 100). Following litigation on behalf of our client LL, the Legal Aid Agency agreed that victims of trafficking were legally entitled to free immigration advice on applying for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of their trafficking experiences and publicised this entitlement.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy development
1. Using the framework of ATLEU’s 5-year strategic plan, develop ATLEU’s participation strategy creating an annual plan to deliver on our organisational vision.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships across ATLEU’s team staying up to date with different areas of organisational work in order to create opportunities for collaboration and coproduction with the Changemakers, finding flexible and creative ways to integrate new opportunities into the annual plan.
Developing ATLEU’s Changemakers group
3. Recruit and induct people with lived experience of trafficking to be active participants in the Changemakers.
4. To facilitate meetings of the Changemakers ensuring activities are accessible and inclusive for all participants.
5. To secure opportunities for skills and knowledge development through internal and external training.
6. Conduct needs assessments to identify safeguarding, support needs and development goals and provide practical and emotional support where required.
7. Nurturing the wellbeing and solidarity of the group, providing individual pastoral support, coordinating reflective practice sessions and group activities.
8. Review, adapt, and agree terms of reference and foundational values with the group.
9. To manage the annual lived experience budget.
Building the power of survivors within ATLEU
10. To be an effective liaison between the group and the Director, trustees and wider staff team.
11. Understanding how ATLEU works as an organisation and its key activities and facilitating regular communication between Changemakers and ATLEU’s people.
12. Create opportunities for collaboration, co-creation and leadership for ATLEU’s Changemakers members.
13. Identifying potential opportunities for Changemakers to take on paid roles within the organisation, defining the scope of the role, recruitment/ selection of individuals for the roles, and supporting individuals to gain experience of working independently (eg. peer research training development, training delivery).
14. To take a creative and flexible approach to working with the group, to understand their priorities and goals and find ways to steer and adapt their ideas so that they can be delivered within an organisational context.
15. Work with ATLEU’s Director, Head of Operations and People and Inclusion Manager to create pathways for people with lived experience of trafficking to participate in ATLEU’s governance and decision-making, including at trustee board level and development of funding proposals.
16. Support the delivery of ATLEU’s Rise and Lead Fellowship project helping to create an employment pathway for people with lived experience of human trafficking and migration in the advice and anti-trafficking sector.
17. Support the Rise and Lead Project Manager with the development of a bespoke inclusive recruitment programme and the delivery of the training fellowship, and the project monitoring and evaluation and dissemination of learning.
Coproduction with the Changemakers
18. Working with ATLEU’s Changemakers to act as agents of change, to influence external stakeholders (e.g. anti-trafficking organisations, policy makers, parliamentarians, media) and share their expertise, whilst ensuring the necessary safeguarding is in place.
