The Woodland Trust is looking for a Corporate Fundraising Executive who will be the first point of contact for businesses looking to support our work-whether through donations, sponsorship, or wider partnerships. 

The Role: 

• Qualify and manage leads, directing businesses to suitable giving options and triaging complex opportunities to relevant team members.
• You’ll play a crucial role in inspiring and converting initial interest into meaningful, long-term relationships that benefit both the organisation and our corporate supporters.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress using our CRM system, and report monthly KPIs to the Corporate Partnerships Manager.
• Manage a portfolio of non-complex corporate partnerships, ensuring obligations are met and relationships nurtured.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Supporter Services, and Fundraising, to deliver effective communications and support.
• Contribute to team fundraising targets by converting enquiries into income and delivering value-aligned corporate relationships.
• This is an 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
• This role includes a mix of working from home, at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire and travel to site visits and events.

The Candidate: 

• Experience of working in fundraising/third sector or in a targeted communications environment
• Excellent relationship development and stakeholder engagement skills
• Must be confident and comfortable communicating through formal and informal methods to engage and inspire a range of audiences and individuals
• Experience of managing own workload across a portfolio
• IT literate, specifically experience of Microsoft office and database management
• Ability to travel as required to meetings, site visits and events within the region and the UK, with some overnight stays.
• Full clean UK driving licence

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help us Trust-wide with our cyber security programme.

The Role:

· This role is responsible for acting as a security lead on all cloud infrastructure.

· You’ll develop and implement a leading cyber security programme to protect against cyber threats to the organisation.

· You’ll communicate effectively working in collaboration with IT partners and support the Head of Technology and Operations with projects.

· You’ll maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring its compliance with relevant frameworks and legislation.

· You’ll manage and lead a cloud security design for new systems and migrations through the implementation phase as a part of the DE Programme and other projects.

· You’ll develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan to safeguard the organisation’s data and operations.

· You’ll lead on cyber security reviews and discussions with stakeholders and working groups.

· This role includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required once a month on average.

The Candidate:

· You’ll have experience cloud infrastructure and architecture diagrams to maintain project delivery and requirements.

· Strong communications skills with a strong ability to persuade others through writing proposals for projects.

· You’ll have experience using Azure such as Azure Monitoring configuration, Azure governance, Azure key management and Azure Backup and site recovery.

· You’ll have knowledge and understanding of relevant security frameworks and up to date legislation to ensure all infrastructure is compliant.

· You’ll have experience in designing and deploying a wide range of security technologies, tools and perimeter defence technologies.

· You’ll have knowledge of a range of security protocols including data encryption and authentication, email security and cyber adversary.

· You’ll have strong collaborative skills with the ability to work in a team and with internal and external stakeholders.

Temperate Rainforest Monitoring Officer (UK Temperate Rainforest Programme) 

Salary: up to £32,445 per annum  

Location: Newark- Hybrid working with regular travel to other places of work including Wales.  

Full time (35 hours per week)  

Part time hours would be considered  

Temporary, until 31st May 2027

About You  

Do you want to help to develop and implement a ground-breaking programme to restore temperate rainforest across the west of the UK? Are you passionate about systematically collecting, analysing and communicating data to support the delivery of nature’s recovery? We are looking for an organised and collaborative monitoring officer to help us implement one of the largest nature-based solutions programmes to date. We need you to help us to tackle the climate change and nature crises. 

You will work with other members of the Temperate Rainforest Programme Team to develop and implement a bespoke monitoring programme to systematically capture and communicate data that will enable us to measure and demonstrate the impact of The Wildlife Trusts’ UK Temperate Rainforest Programme – on biodiversity, climate change mitigation and adaptation, local communities and the economy as well as supporting monitoring on other landscape scale initiatives. 

We are looking for a technical specialist who understands and cares about the positive contribution that large scale woodland creation can make to nature’s recovery and to efforts to reduce and adapt to climate change. This role will implement and support monitoring arrangements for The Wildlife Trusts’ UK Temperate Rainforest programme and at the Wildlife Trusts’ Rothbury Estate in Northumberland. You will be organised and motivated with excellent analytical and project delivery skills, including an understanding of different ecological, social and land-management monitoring approaches, as well as an interest in evidence relating to woodlands, biodiversity and climate change adaptation. Key to this role will be familiarity with the collection, processing and storage of ecological data and the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in its analysis, sharing and communication.
