Job description

Why we want you

We are looking for people 18+ who have some spare time and would like to give back time to the local community, by supporting arts and crafting activities at our centres.

For this role we need you to have some experience/qualifications of using woodwork professionally e.g. a carpenter/joiner or similar

What you will be doing

  • Supporting our woodworking departments to provide activities for people who attend the centre
  • Provide advice for staff and students on woodworking including correct use of tools etc
  • Helping with the planning of activities
  • Be proactive and encouraging with people at the session to encourage them to develop new skills
