About the role
We’re seeking an exceptional and experienced project manager to deliver a pivotal role within our ground-breaking national Kinship Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education.
This is our largest contract, and this role is key to enabling our organisational activity. The service offers over 300 online and in-person training events and workshops per year, tailored to meet the specific needs of kinship carers. We need to ensure at least 4,600 kinship carers attend.
You’ll be accountable for successful project delivery, working with executive project sponsors (Chief Operating Officer and Services and Digital Director) and workstream leads (Associate Directors and Heads of departments) to deliver KPI’s to deadlines, escalating and managing risks early.
The type of person we're looking for
You’ll have extensive experience in successful delivery of complex projects that include multiple workstreams and a range of internal and external stakeholders, with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Through your experience of planning, monitoring and controlling project delivery, you’ll quickly set up the necessary systems and processes for success.
You’ll bring strong leadership and communication skills to designing and implementing integrated plans, agreeing deliverables and ensuring accountability. You will need to own this programme of work, and you will need to move at pace. The Community Forest Trust (CFT) is a charity that supports, enables and champions England’s Community Forests (ECFs). Across England there are 15 Community Forests that deliver social, economic, and environmental impact through woodland creation and restoration. In 2024/2025 they will plant over 2.5 million trees, most of which are funded through Defra’s national tree planting programme, the Nature for Climate Fund Programme.
The Managing Director will have the drive, rigour, and organisational and stakeholder management skills to develop and deliver a new CFT Business Plan. The current Business Plan was developed in 2022 and runs to March 2025. It has now been delivered.
The Managing Director will be responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of CFT and ensure effective governance and compliance with all legal requirements. To fulfil this aim, the Managing Director must ensure that robust structures and systems are in place to deliver CFT’s strategic priorities and CFT’s charitable aims and objectives.

Catch22 are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Service Manager for our West Mercia Child Exploitation Service.
This role has responsibility for the strategic development and operational management of Catch22’s Integrated Child Exploitation Service funded by the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.
Integrated Child Exploitation Service A specialist prevention and support service for children, young people under 18 and their families who are at risk of, currently experiencing or has been impacted by Child Criminal or Child Sexual Exploitation across the West Mercia region. The service will consist of four teams located in Worcestershire, Telford and Wrekin, Herefordshire & Shropshire.
The role will also support the development of the Young People and Families (YPF) Hub and the implementation of learning and development, performance and impact, business development and wider work streams as required. The SSM will work with the YPF SMT and will take a lead role in implementing our YPF strategy in this area.
The role can be home based, but time spent in each of the services alongside travel across the UK will be required to support delivery and growth of services across the Hub. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering and managing similar services, the right mix of leadership, passion and energy, and an innovative nature. A proven track record in engaging with positive relationships with commissioners and securing new business is essential. One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all, but it is never too late to learn. Read Easy UK is a volunteer organisation that delivers one-to-one reading coaching to adults aged from 18-88 through a network of affiliated, locally run volunteer groups.
With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages many people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.
There are currently 80 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation which supports this network of affiliated volunteer groups and provides the structure, training and support to enable volunteers to establish groups in new areas.
As our London Regional Adviser, your aim would be to find volunteers to ‘pioneer’ four new groups in London, and then provide them and our 15 existing groups in the city, with high-quality support. Your support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and new Readers. From meeting with Team Leaders to provide one to one support, to delivering presentations and training for small groups of volunteers, this is a dynamic and rewarding role.

This role is critical to overseeing the delivery, development, and impact of the MOVE 8 Week Young People's Programme. As the team lead, you will manage Cancer Rehab Specialists and a team of freelancers. About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in two of our schools in West Midlands, currently delivering our Gateway programme and moving to our new Accelerate programme next school year. The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors and coaches, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of our programmes is optimised.
Role responsibilities
• Work directly with students in a professional and safe manner.
• Engage with school staff, your Programme Manager, and students in school to ensure that you have fully enrolled cohorts across both programmes.
• Assess student progress towards being able to make successful Key Stage 5 and university applications.
• Upload information onto the Salesforce database in a timely manner (training is provided).
• Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programmes.
