The Diocese in Europe is looking for a strategic leader to develop plans that will grow the scale, impact and depth of the work of the Church of England across the diocese.   The post will be filled by someone with a heart and a motivation to work for the church in a unique international context and with the ability both to work alone and with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.

The Diocese in large in geographical scale and scope but limited in numbers of staff and resources.   The postholder will be confident of their ability to function under such circumstances.

Responsibilities

As Schools Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting schools and ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Client Support

• Act as the first point of contact for school enquiries across email, phone, voicemail and webchat.

• Respond to queries, resolve user issues, and provide quotes for subscriptions and trials.

Place of Work

This is a home-based role, open to candidates based in the UK. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of Ten Ten’s home-based team.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week), typically worked across Monday to Friday. While there is some flexibility in working hours, availability is expected during core daytime hours to ensure collaboration with colleagues and timely support for schools.

Read for Good’s Grants and Trusts Manager leads on securing high-value income for the national charity from trusts and foundations, typically securing one-off and multi-year grants in the five- to six-figure range. You will research and cultivate prospective funders, produce compelling, tailored proposals, programme reports and manage a strong pipeline of funding opportunities. Key responsibilities

Income Generation and Fundraising

Northern Ireland has an amazingly rich heritage of church and chapel buildings that we want to see well maintained, valued and in use. We’re looking for a Support Officer – based in Northern Ireland – who can help us to complete the delivery of our pioneering The National Lottery Heritage Fund project. This role will support churches of all denominations with maintenance and tourism advice, training and events and be a key contact for churches looking for heritage support in Northern Ireland.

The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. We aim to empower survivors of modern slavery and exploitation to recover from their experiences and thrive. This role provides support to clients referred to Snowdrop’s Reach-In provision. About the Role

This is a dual-role position supporting both the Finance and HR functions of the charity. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budget management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. Flexibility

Our staff who live in or near London operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Full-time staff work in the office both those days and at home the rest of the week, while part-time staff who live in or near London are required to work in the office on one of those days, and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. Congenital Heart Disease affects 1 in 125 newborn babies, it is the most common condition at birth. Around 17,000 babies, children and adults are treated by the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit (LCHU) every year. The LCHU is the specialist heart centre for all of Yorkshire, The Humber, North East Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire.

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) provide tailored emotional, financial and practical support and essential resources to heart patients and their families. When families need us most, CHSF provide parent accommodation close to the hospital and a dedicated family support service during a child’s treatment. CHSF also provide vital medical equipment and resources to the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and 19 regional clinics, including start-up NHS staff roles and specialist training across the network.

CHSF is a completely self-funded charity. Together, we are able to nurture a wonderful community of children, young people, adults and their families affected by congenital heart disease to live empowered lives.

Job Summary

As Fundraising Researcher you'll be responsible for proactively researching potential funders including corporate foundations and community funds, charitable trusts and other organisations to support our ambitious fundraising team. Working closely with the Trusts & Foundations Manager and Corporate Partnership Managers you'll ensure fundraising activity is supported across the organisation with robust research.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Research and identify charitable trusts and foundations, corporate, government and other funding opportunities that align with CHSF’s mission, vision and values.

2. Use prospect research tools and techniques to collate detailed prospect information e.g. business insider bulletins, directories, websites, AI etc.

3. Compile key information about each funding opportunity, including deadlines, eligibility criteria, application questions, and funder priorities, in a structured format.

4. Assist in reviewing and prioritising potential funding opportunities based on suitability for CHSF.

5. Support with impact monitoring and reporting to funders and corporate partners, including liaising with staff at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit to collect information.

6. Organise and archive past grant applications, ensuring a structured and accessible digital filing system.

7. Support the team by keeping funding research up to date and easy to access for future applications.

8. Collaborate with finance/fundraising teams to ensure grant research aligns with fundraising priorities.

The Linking Network inspires and equips schools to support children and young people to build meaningful connections across all forms of difference. We work with 25 Local Authority Areas to deliver a local Schools Linking Programme, collectively reaching 26,000 children, 850 classes in over 500 schools across England. We also work directly with 100 schools locally in Bradford and deliver Intergenerational Linking, reaching around 2,200 pupils in 110 classes and 1000 older people in the Bradford district. Purpose

The successful candidate will be employed by The Linking Network (TLN) in Bradford and work collaboratively as part of a small team and a wide network of committed stakeholders who are working together to inspire community cohesion through schools across the UK. The Operations Manager will have an opportunity to help shape how the organisation runs, playing a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations. The post-holder will have responsibility for the day to day operations and finances of our charity and offer vital administrative and organisational support to TLN’s team, Board of Trustees and wider network of partners across the country, helping them to plan ahead and enabling them to fulfil their responsibilities.

This role comes with substantial responsibility, as an integral part of a high-performing team working across the UK. We are a small team that achieves big things. Supporting our team and network

● Contribute to organisational planning and reporting cycles, in pursuit of our collective vision to inspire community cohesion across the country

● Assist the Directors through diary management, prioritising where needed and supporting preparation before meetings 

● Provide general administration support to the team such as booking meeting rooms, arranging travel and maintaining a comprehensive filing system

● Develop our internal processes and support our team meetings with clear agendas and actions

● Support the team to plan and deliver stakeholder meetings and events (e.g., celebration events with our schools and communities), including through sourcing the right venue, managing the guestlist and liaising with speakers 

● Help the team develop compelling presentations, training aids, handouts or other communications

● Provide general support to TLN’s Local Areas, for example booking training sessions, printing and posting key materials or following up on agreed actions

● Enable the team to plan effective Network meetings, ensuring the right materials are shared in advance and notes of key points and actions circulated promptly afterwards

● Request and organise accurate records for TLN’s local areas across the country so that we understand our collective work across schools and communities

Managing our general operations 

● Help foster a supportive, inclusive and values-driven working culture

● Support staff recruitment, induction, development and training, working with the Directors to manage HR records including annual leave

● Work with external providers to ensure the team have the right IT systems and support

● Maintain and update TLN’s website and web-based resources, working alongside the team and our contracted website developer

● Manage the office space and supplies to ensure that the team has the required resources to achieve their objectives

● Provide administration support to the Board of Trustees, including organising meetings, circulating board papers and taking minutes

● Coordinate the implementation of key policies - including Safeguarding, Health & Safety and GDPR - ensuring the policies are kept up to date with support from the Directors and Trustees and all relevant procedures are in place

● Ensure the charity’s insurance, Health & Safety and DBS certificates are up to date and maintain a single central record of safeguarding training and DBS certificates

Managing our finances 

● Monitor organisational spend against budget, ensuring the timely spending of restricted funds and value-for-money procurement

● Manage payroll and staff expenses and keep finance records up to date

● Administer grants to TLN’s Local Areas, ensuring all contracts are signed, invoices are requested and payments are made on time 

● With the support of the Directors and our contracted accountants, prepare monthly management accounts, the year end statutory accounts and budgets for the year ahead and funding applications

● Support the team to develop effective reports that communicate the progress of our work to funders and other key stakeholders

● Ensure all funders receive invoices and any reporting requirements within their deadlines

About the role:

This role is home working based with travel in the Avon and Somerset area of England.

As a Homicide Service Children and Young Person caseworker you will be:

• Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide
• Working collaboratively and jointly within the Homicide Service and other relevant organisations that can help to progress identified needs and ensure that young people are central to all processes that involve them.
• Acting as the designated caseworker and manage a caseload
• Implementing the CYP Homicide Service Delivery Model
• Work closely and support colleagues to provide a trauma informed service to children and young people.

• You will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to bereaved young people following murder or manslaughter. Working with colleagues in the National Homicide Service, as well as partner agencies including education, police, courts, social services and many other statutory and third sector organisations.

You will need to be able to travel to face to face sessions within, and occasionally outside of region. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. If you are unable to drive because of a disability please indicate this in your application in your personal statement so we can explore the feasibility of alternative arrangements. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.
