About the role

We currently have 80 staff members using Salesforce daily. This role provides technical expertise to the CRM users and wider charity, while also carrying out vital audits, project support and administrative duties.

The role of Junior Salesforce Administrator works together with the rest of the team, managed by the Database Manager, to ensure users and projects are supported efficiently and that our Salesforce instance is effectively maintained and maximised.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to support tickets from internal stakeholders, performing analysis, information gathering, troubleshooting, and escalating while communicating through our support tickets system. 
• Monitoring on-going processes and correcting/escalating any issues that occur. 
• Managing data and keeping records accurate, up to date and consistent. Performing audits to identify irregularities across the system.
• Building Salesforce reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Create, edit, and maintain Salesforce list views, objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and users. 
• Deliver and support with training and development of all users including their initial induction, as well as follow up training sessions and clinics.
• Assist with testing new enhancements and add-ons from Salesforce releases and custom internal enhancements.
• Create technical and functional documentation. 
• Creating and connecting Form Assembly forms.
• Additional ad hoc tasks relating to the data management requirements of the platform.
• Comply with any monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements as part of Kinship’s internal processes, as well as any donor or local authority funding requirements for the services being delivered, including producing quarterly performance reports for local authorities, and other funders and stakeholders as required.
• Proactively use data and insight to develop our programmes and sharing with colleagues to contribute to changing the system for kinship carers.

Essential criteria

• Experience of Salesforce Administration and the Nonprofit Success Pack
• Salesforce administration certificate ADM201 
• A strong commitment to ensuring outcomes and impacts of services are evidenced through high quality data collection.
• The ability to work discreetly and effectively with confidential information; ensuring GDPR principles are observed throughout. 
• Able to use own initiative and manage competing priorities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communications and able to communicate technical information in a clear and simple way.
• Able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable criteria

• Lived experience of kinship care.
• Experience of widely customised Salesforce systems.
• Excellent level of IT literacy and proficiency with Excel including Vlookups.
• Familiar with Salesforce configuration concepts such as Profiles, Sharing Rules, Flows, Validation Rules etc.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with outstanding attention to detail.

About the role

Strategic Volunteer Lead

The role

NEA has an exciting opportunity for a Training and Education Officer to support with the delivery of our accredited training and qualifications to stakeholders across the United Kingdom as well as develop and deliver our expanding education programme nationwide.

You will work across both the training and education teams to develop and deliver training courses and education workshops to frontline workers, volunteers and young people from a wide range of organisations, including local authorities, housing associations, voluntary and community groups, and commercial organisations.

Our training courses and workshops cover key issues associated with fuel poverty, fuel debt, affordable warmth, low-carbon technologies and practical energy efficiency advice. You will work alongside the training team to develop, design and deliver these engaging online and face-to-face courses and qualifications.  You will act as an examiner for all NEA qualifications, assist in the development of future assessment-based qualifications; and have the ability to identify new opportunities for training and assessment product development.

You will work closely with the existing education team to enhance the current education provision of the charity; you will develop and deliver education sessions in line with programme and funding needs. Delivery will include both Primary and Secondary school sessions as well as bespoke education sessions for care leavers, young carers, youth offenders and children soon to be attending university or college.

What you will need to succeed

You will possess a relevant training or education qualification and have recent, demonstrable experience in delivering adult training and or primary / secondary school sessions. The Volunteer Relationship Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the volunteer programme within the College of Paramedics.

With a focus on enhancing volunteer relationships and strengthening organisational capabilities, you will lead strategic initiatives to help to create a positive, productive, and rewarding experience for volunteers while maximising their contribution to our strategic objectives.

The Volunteer Relationship Manager will be required to:

• Recruitment and Onboarding – Develop best practice volunteer recruitment strategies, conduct interviews and volunteer screening and organise required induction sessions

This post will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in all aspects of the financial management of the charity. This post will take an active role in supporting both overseas and UK staff with financial management. The post will also be responsible for producing monthly/quarterly project finance reports both internally and externally. On 20th August 2011, Flt Lt Jon Egging lost his life whilst completing a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival. He was coming to the end of his first year with the world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, flying in the position of Red 4.

• Managing local recruitment in line with the local recruitment strategy

• Supervising and managing the Fostering Recruitment Officer and / or Assessing Social Worker/s.
• Supervising, quality assurance and making complex decisions in relation to assessments to ensure completion within timescales and to the standards required.
• Writing and producing management and performance information to improve recruitment practices.

About the role

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

We are lucky enough to have some of our most committed supporters in the area, but there is still so much opportunity to grow support across the counties. You will have an incredible opportunity to build relationships with not only those who have been supported by the charity, but our incredible services team members who support children and young people treated out of University College Hospital and Great Ormond Street hospital.

The role-holder will have experience working according to ethical and good practice safeguarding principles. How Will You Make a Difference? 

Amna is seeking a compassionate and experienced Arabic speaking facilitator to join Amna’s team of trainers, with therapeutic/clinical background. As a Trainer & Facilitator your responsibilities will involve delivering training sessions and group facilitation to support and create learning spaces for training participants on themes centred around trauma and identity informed psychosocial healing care with displaced communities. The role holder is expected to work on multiple responses, and will lead Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, while working closely with Arabic speaking team members.  

Amna’s identity and trauma informed approach is centred around community healing practices with communities that aim to restore participants sense of safety, belonging, agency and joy. Amna services are co-created with the communities being worked with and we prioritise refugee participation and leadership in service design and delivery wherever possible. 

The role holders need to have experience working with communities affected by adversity, including displacement, war and conflict, poverty, abuse or marginalisation. Given the nature of Amna’s work in emergency settings with displaced communities, applicants need to be comfortable working in environments where there is uncertainty, change and exposure to distress.  

Specifically, successful candidates will have a strong experience in following areas: 

1. Work with children and families in an emergency context; 

1. Therapeutic experience – Individual and Groups; 

1. Community work experience; 

1. Designing and delivering trainings across different context; 

Amna will train role holders in Amna’s training and facilitation approach.

Responsibilities include: 

• To deliver high quality, interactive trainings in person and online.   

• To lead on Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, working closely with a diverse, cross-cultural team and partners.  

• To develop Amna’s training materials including engaging content, structure, visuals and activities.  

• To provide ongoing support to Amna’s training participants from a range of countries on how to set up safe, community healing spaces with displaced communities.

• Outside of Amna’s trainings, to maintain engagement with Amna’s training participants to share and exchange learning. 

• Travel to various countries to visit, train and observe partner organisations.

• To work in collaboration with all departments within Amna to achieve Amna’s objectives. 

  Qualifications and Experience:  

• Minimum three years of experience working therapeutically with communities affected by adversities. 

• Minimum three years of experience delivering therapeutically informed community programmes in emergency or acute contexts using creative tools. 

• Experience working in a therapeutically informed way, e.g. working with sensitivity to the needs and experiences of the communities worked with.   

• Comfortable working in English – spoken and written.  

• Comfortable in designing and delivering content in Arabic.

• Confident computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.  

• Able and willing to travel for work (if you have travel restrictions to some countries, please notify us in your application).

• Right to work in the country of residency.  

Desirable: 

• Life or work experience with refugee or/and displaced communities. 

• Education or experience in psychology, social studies such as community work, social work, intercultural education, or creative healing practices.

Do you want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with supermarkets, volunteer recruitment channels and venues to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning and delivery, and working with volunteers. You will be experienced in building relationships with a range of stakeholders, and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in the North East, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​
