Caxton Youth Organisation is a specialist youth club, creating community, breaking barriers and empowering learning disabled and autistic young people.
This is a key role supporting both our fundraising and communications activities. You will work closely with the Fundraising and Communications Manager to deliver compelling fundraising applications, steward donors, grow our community fundraising, and manage Caxton’s public-facing communications across digital and print. Key Responsibilities
Fundraising
- Research, plan and draft compelling grant and funding applications.
- Maintain and update our CRM system (Beacon), ensuring records are accurate and communications are timely.
- Plan and deliver key supporter events.
- Lead on the development, delivery and stewardship of community fundraising activities, including challenge events.
- Prepare timely and engaging reports and updates for funders.
- Provide stewardship to individual supporters and donors
- Support on implementing our Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to capture meaningful programme insights to support funding applications and reporting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyse qualitative data, including quotes, feedback and stories to demonstrate impact.
Communications
- Manage Caxton’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky), creating engaging, youth-appropriate content that reflects our values and voice.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on social media performance to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Write and collect case studies and stories that showcase the experiences and successes of young people.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, promotional assets, and internal communications tools.
- Maintaining the Caxton website, including writing blog posts and updating content as needed.
- Lead on the implementation of Caxton’s communications calendar to ensure consistent and strategic messaging.

Person Specification
Essential:
- 2+ years’ experience in fundraising, particularly writing funding applications and/or managing donor relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Experience managing social media channels for an organisation.
- Confident using design tools (e.g. Canva) and email marketing platforms.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Committed to the values of inclusion, equity and youth empowerment.
Desirable:
- Experience using Beacon or another CRM
- Knowledge of the youth or disability sector.
- Basic photography, video or design skills.

Oasis Southampton City Farm is a community focused registered charity working in Southampton. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.
We are looking for a farm assistant who will support the Farm Lead in delivering the vision for the farm by supporting the delivery of the farm’s day service, which includes adults with varying learning, physical, and mental disabilities (or different abilities). This role will include:
· Delivering the day service activities every Monday and Thursday, which include supporting our day service to care for our rescued and rehomed animals, sports, woodland activities, gardening, arts and crafts, and public facing activities.
· Deliver life and employability skills boosting sessions alongside the public, such as pop-up cafes and fundraising stalls.
· To carry out animal cleaning rota responsibilities alongside the day service,
· To support the farm education lead in the day service achieving AQA awards through day-to-day activities.
· To support the education lead in giving tours/pre visits to new adults with learning disabilities,

Purpose of the post
The Engagement and Involvement Lead will engage with young people, families, schools and other interest-holders in the process of designing, delivering and ensuring the best outputs from the Adolescent Health Study, and is critical for the success of the project. We are at the early stages of laying the foundations for this and in this new role we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to co-ordinate and lead AHS’s cross-UK participant and public involvement and engagement activities.
This is a role that requires high levels of confidence, autonomy, enthusiasm and skill. The postholder will be responsible for delivering the project’s new Engagement and Involvement Strategy, including: establishing and coordinating a Young Persons’ Advisory Group for AHS; developing and delivering AHS public engagement and involvement activities; outsourcing and supervising engagement and involvement activities that are better provided by external partners; scoping and advising on which routes for involvement and engagement activities are best suited to different tasks.
Main responsibilities
Planning & strategy delivery
· Ensuring the study delivers the values and approaches set out in the AHS engagement and involvement strategy
· Planning, delivering and reporting on an ongoing, regular and important programme of engagement events and activities
· Reviewing/revising/adding to existing policies, processes and procedures to support effective working together with people and communities (such as reimbursement, compensation, making reasonable adjustments)
· Developing and implementing appropriate evaluation, monitoring and reporting of Community Engagement & Involvement
· Keeping up to date with good practice & sector advances and sharing these with the AHS team.
Practical engagement and involvement
· Developing methods to enhance engagement and involvement, and helping to build positive relationships with young people and stakeholder groups, including charities, third sector & advocacy groups
· Overseeing day-to-day planning & delivery of a high-quality engagement and involvement programme. To include, for example:
o Managing and supporting Youth Advisors
o Recruiting and running a standing Young People’s Advisory Group (YPAG)
o Organising & delivering other ad hoc engagement activities as necessary
· Securing external partners where necessary, and managing contracts and delivery of their work across the UK
· Ensuring that any external parties (e.g. organisations, freelancers, consultants) supporting AHS’s involvement and engagement work have clear roles, responsibilities & goals
· Working with the Head of Communications to develop and manage provision of relevant information to members of the public, teachers, young people & researchers
· Keep clear records of involvement and engagement activities, ensuring results are used to inform the study and the wider research community.

- Checking for and capitalising on possible opportunities for engagement and involvement to be embedded in the work of the wider team
- Ensuring appropriate induction, training, mentoring and support is organised for the research team and communities involved
- Sharing examples of emerging good practice and CEI (Community Engagement & Involvement) impact across the research team.
Wider
- Contributing to shared learning and future sustainability as part of wider CEI communities of practice
- Acting as a key point of contact for community members and partners involved in the research
- Representing and presenting the AHS study’s engagement and involvement work to the wider research community at a senior level, including in national engagement & involvement networks as necessary.
Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential criteria
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
· Experience developing and delivering engagement and involvement activities with young people and other relevant interest-holders (such as parents, families, teachers and schools)
· A proven track record or professional background in working with young people – such as in youth work, counselling, mentoring, education, or a related setting
· Understanding and experience of good practice in youth engagement and involvement, including the principles and implementation of safeguarding, data protection, and inclusive practice
· Awareness of culturally sensitive approaches and methods to be inclusive of all relevant perspectives, including marginalised and vulnerable groups
· Experience of successful project management and ability to deliver, working independently.
· Ability to design and deliver workshops, focus groups or meetings that encourage open dialogue and collaboration
· Ability to manage a budget and report on financial activity accurately
· Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, with experience of working alongside and influencing senior level professionals
· Research literacy, with a clear understanding of large UK-wide research initiatives and the various competing demands and pressures the study will face
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders and to summarise and report key information clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing

You will be responsible for the direct delivery of elop’s LGBTQ+ Young Peoples Service, including promotion, & administration, along with the induction, support & supervision of volunteers and interns. You will work alongside the wider staff team to support elop’s work with LGBTQ+ young people and contribute to sustainable service development.
The delivery of group support and activities will take place in person, and you will be office based three days a week with some remote working on other days before returning to full time in person working.

You must be available to work Tuesday evenings & once a month on a Sunday afternoon. There will be occasional other evenings / weekend working required.

The role of Young Person's Practitioner (Risk and Resilience) is an excellent opportunity to make a direct and valued difference to the lives of children and young people (C&YP), who are at significant risk of experiencing child exploitation, substance misuse, or going missing from home.
Providing tailored support and guidance to children, young people, and families, this role will actively contribute to achieving high standards of care, quality, and positive outcomes - supporting service users to fulfil their potential, through consistent and meaningful participation.
Main Duties:
- Providing tailored one-to-one support, guidance, and interventions.
- Assessing the needs of children and young people, determining appropriate support plans and pathways, and informing risk reduction plans - supporting access to additional or specialist services where necessary.
- Ensuring that referrals, support, care, and risk management are of a high quality, with ease of transition.
- Developing sustainable joint service work with referring agencies, local authorities, children’s social care, and children and families services (CFS).

This unique role combines the benefits of direct face-to-face engagement with young people in a local context, delivering mission through sport activities and programmes, while also developing and mentoring others to expand ministry across the South region. Since 2015, SU has had a dedicated Mission Through Sport team which contributes directly towards this outreach to the 95. We have recently developed some innovative new resources, aligned with the RJ framework, which the post holder will be involved in both delivering and equipping others to utilise. These include our flagship programme called Holy Ground which empowers churches to adopt a local sports space in their community to connect with the 95 in their context. Half Time is our brand new Explore-Respond resource which uses sports-themed videos and fun games to help the 95 to explore the life of Jesus by journeying through Mark’s Gospel.
About Activate
Activate is a sport and physical activity-based programme, formed in 2018, seeking to build community through wellbeing that invigorates faith. Activate seeks to release God’s people to join in his mission through sport and physical activity in the areas surrounding Bushy Park. This includes gathering, encouraging and empowering local Christians involved in sports ministry, including expressions of chaplaincy and missional communities centred around sports clubs, centres, educational settings and gyms. A number of local churches across denominations and Dioceses have been supporters of the project.
In the past Activate has supported sports projects in local schools, an activity-based church service, wellbeing cafe sessions, exercise sessions for the elderly and youth activities. The successful candidate will be involved in re-launching Activate’s mission after a break due to staff changes.
About your team
With this role, you will have the benefit of being part of a national-focused sports team at SU, as well as the south team with a regional focus and the local context with Activate. You’ll work out of the office of St Peter’s Church, West Molesey, benefiting from the support of a local parish-based team including clergy and youth workers. You’ll contribute your expertise in a variety of settings, ranging from urban and suburban to coastal and rural areas across the south. You’ll have a brilliant time getting acquainted with this rich tapestry of local and national partners. Across the south region, we currently work with 130 churches and have 150 faith guides. We’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years and believe that a vibrant sports ministry can contribute meaningfully to this.

Purpose of the Role
This senior leadership position is responsible for managing and overseeing OTR’s Wellbeing Services, which include our Engagement Team, Counselling Teams, and Clinical Supervisors.

Working in partnership with the CEO, you will develop strong relationships with commissioners and funders to ensure the sustainability and growth of our Wellbeing Services. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the skills, experience and aptitude to work with the Trustees to refine and support delivery of The Pixel Fund’s overall vision and strategy, and to be the public face of the charity.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charity, currently carried out by a part-time administrator, which position is to be discontinued following the CEO appointment.
We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.
The Trustees wish to appoint an individual who has a demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.The role will include upholding the charity’s vision, values and strategic focus, including championing equality, diversity and inclusion across our work.
