Job Title: Kent Infant Feeding Peer Supporter

Contract: Fixed term to 1st January 2029

Location: Community based with travel around Maidstone, Malling, Seven Oaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells.

The Kent Infant Feeding Peer Supporter role is vital in the delivery of community Infant Feeding Peer Support within the region. We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). The regular days will be Wednesday - Friday, However flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

Key Requirements Include: 

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups 

• Experience facilitating groups or activties 

• Ability to provide one-to-one support in a sensitive and empowering way 

• Strong communication skills with young people, families, and professionals

The Jon Egging Trust are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to take on the role of Regional Manager in Dorset and Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential and bring experience in coordinating youth programmes in partnership with key stakeholders such as schools, military, corporate and educational stakeholders.  

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, have a solutions-focused mindset and a proactive approach to overseeing impactful and inspiring delivery. Relationship building is a key aspect to this role, as is the ability to manage multiple workstreams, ensuring high standards of delivery and responding flexibly to challenges that may arise. 

The role will be responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with school staff, local partners (including military, corporate and educational organisations) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people. Working closely with the Area Director South, the post holder will be forward thinking and help to grow JET’s presence locally through identifying new opportunities within Hampshire and Dorset. 

The post holder will be based from home, with a requirement to travel to schools and partner sites within Dorset and Hampshire (predominantly between Weymouth and Odiham). Fuel expenses are paid, and travel time is included as part of your working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school term time only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

About the role 

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Group and Family Support Facilitator to lead our therapeutic group sessions and support families. 

You will: 

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of group sessions for children with SEND 

• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment 

• Support families with emotional and practical guidance 

• Liaise closely with therapists and specialist workers 

• Build relationships with families, ensuring a holistic support approach 

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing development of services 

This is a dynamic role requiring a strong balance of leadership, child-focused practice, and family advocacy. 

Skills and Experience Required: 

We are looking for someone with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education, Social Care, or Health, with experience supporting children with SEND and their families. You will have strong communication, organisational, and IT skills (including Office 365 and MS Teams), and be confident leading a team in a multi-disciplinary setting. A solid understanding of child development and safeguarding is essential, along with the flexibility to work across multiple sites. Ideally, you will also have experience in outreach or family support work, knowledge of local services, training in Paediatric First Aid or Health & Safety, and familiarity with communication tools like Makaton. Experience supporting siblings of children with SEND is also desirable.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.  

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.  

We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls. 

Key Responsibilities
To develop and deliver family support and play sessions to children, young people and their mothers in refuge and the community. To provide this service in Urdu where required so that the service is more accessible to them and we are better able to meet the needs of the family. To lead on domestic violence awareness raising sessions with children/young people and professionals

BSWA provides safe secure accommodation to some of the most vulnerable women and children therefore in order to ensure we provide maximum support and safety it is essential that our service is available to them 24/7. We do this through operating an on-site rota that covers weekends, evenings and bank holidays as well as a 24 hour call out system.

Your role will include: 

· Extensively advertise service and recruit volunteering opportunities using a variety of platforms including social media and locally.

· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements. 

· Have a good understanding of each of the regions within the projects the community groups and the hospitals in which our staff and volunteers offer support. 

· Collate and enter all information as and when necessary, into the Kent Infant Feeding database to ensure service users are registered on the system and touch points with the service users are logged. 

· Attend meetings relevant to safeguarding duties to ensure effective and informed practice, responding to and supporting safeguarding concerns. To work on safeguarding cases as and when required.

The Oxford Parent-Infant Project (OXPIP) is a nationally recognised children’s charity providing specialist parent-infant psychotherapy to help parents and babies build strong, secure relationships during the crucial early years. We also share our expertise through training, supervision and consultancy to professionals supporting families in Oxfordshire and beyond.

OXPIP has received Stepchange funding to deliver a two-year project focused on co-producing online materials for parents and free training for Oxfordshire’s children and families workforce.

We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of this project. The postholder will ensure both strands of work are delivered on time and within scope, working collaboratively with colleagues, parent participants, freelance trainers, and an external evaluator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, clear planning, and making a real impact on families’ lives.

This role will report directly to the Operational Director of Children's Services and is non-case holding role, however, there may be the need to occasionally cover casework due to staff sickness or leave.

In this role you will be responsible for the smooth running of a staff team of Deputy Area Managers, Social Workers, Family Finders, Recruitment Managers & Officers, Consultants, Panel Members, Administration Team and Children’s and Young People's Resource Workers. 

The main role requirements for the Fostering Registered Area Manager role includes:

• A Level 5 Management Qualification (or a willingness to enrol on such a course within 6 months of appointment and to complete within 3 years)
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years post qualifying experience in fostering or in other childcare settings
• A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development
• Experience of managing a diverse and experienced team, ideally remotely
• Experience of group work and/or delivery of training
• Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations
• Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT effectively, including participating in virtual meetings and webinars.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance including service monitoring
• Responsible for the safeguarding of children and young people
• Taking part in the out-of-hours rota.
• Delivery of the Service Operational Plan which will include the management of budget and contracts
• Being a Panel Advisor

XLP’s nationally recognised Mentoring Programme has been transforming lives across nine London boroughs. The programme focusses on supporting young people aged 11 - 18 who are at risk of school exclusion, involvement in crime, or social isolation.
