Summary of Role
Working under the direction of our Centre Managers at Arc in the Park and Abbey Hub, Youth Workers are key to ensuring the successful delivery of our provision for young people. The role will include the delivery of specific youth work projects and programmes delivered in accordance with the policies and procedures of AAA, helping young people to develop personally, socially and educationally. The role will include providing support to vulnerable and at-risk service users.
Responsibilities
·Providing for the social, personal, educational and leisure needs of young people by assisting in the running, organisation and delivery of AAA youth projects, including building-based and detached street work projects
·Establishing positive relationships with all young people supporting and enabling them to increase their confidence and realise their potential, fully integrating them into all project activities.
·Coordinating resources and developing opportunities and activities for young people which reflects their particular needs and circumstances.
·Facilitating the active involvement of the young people in the planning and development of the project programme.
·Facilitating the positive integration of young people with disabilities, behavioural difficulties and/or special needs within the project.
·Mentoring young people by supporting positive behaviours, delivering life-skills sessions and workshops.
·Assisting young people in identifying progression opportunities and providing on-going transition support for those moving into college, employment, apprenticeships or further learning.
·Monitoring and evaluating projects with young people and staff, providing reports as required to the Board of Trustees.

Bonny Downs Community Association has been working together to change lives and transform our community since 1998. Over the past 25 years our team has grown to provide a wide array of services that benefit Newham residents from all walks of life.

As a Youth Tech Abuse Lead you will provide specialist support to Refuge’s children support workers and frontline staff to ensure children, young people, and protective parents are using technology safely and positively in our refuges. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the children and young people’s team for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to be part of shaping and delivering a new early support youth hub pilot within Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley. The hub will support people aged 13+ and those who feel they still require a young people’s approach up to 25. Your primary role will be to keep our service and young people, safe. You will work a shift 21:30-08:30, on a four night on, four night off rota. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Enhanced Support Worker to join our Mental Health service in Westminster.

To enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community, by providing flexible and individually tailored support.
The early shifts for this role are 8am-4pm, the late shifts are 2:30pm-10:30pm. The working pattern for this role is as follows:
Week 1: 5 days
Week 2: 4 days
Week 3: 6 days

What you'll do:
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support actions and capture outcomes in Support and Risk Management files.
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
* Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
* Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community especially the local mental health system to ensure that customers receive the best treatment available
* Lead on an area of specialism (e.g. , health and wellbeing) , build partnerships and develop internal and external opportunities for service-users in this area
* Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
* Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
* Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
* Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible

What you'll bring:
Essential:
* Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent or experience in the social care/charity sector
