Aim of the Role
Bridge College is the Together Trust’s specialist education college for students aged 16 to 25 years with disabilities, complex needs and autism. Bridge College promotes a multidisciplinary approach to learning and has expertise in supporting students with a wide range of needs. We are seeking to recruit a Community Education Officer who will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong links between Bridge College, local businesses, and the local community. The purpose of this role is to identify and develop offsite community project opportunities that allow students to engage in meaningful experiences, build life skills, and prepare for adulthood.

About the role

We are searching for a Head of Bids, Grants and Tenders to work within our Development and Partnerships Team. Barnardo's Kickstart Futures Service; Floating Support for Care Leavers in Sutton.
Barnardo's, in partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, is providing a floating support service for Care Leavers with low to medium levels of support needs.
The service provides floating support to Young People across a range of properties located within the borough of Sutton, as well as a small number of Young People based elsewhere in the community, mainly around The London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring boroughs.
Some residents are Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People (UASYP), or survivors of Human Trafficking, who are over the age of 18.
The service delivers key work support to each Young Person on an individual basis and additional group work sessions for property residents. Key work sessions are scheduled in collaboration with the Young Person. Key work hours will be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of the Young People and include regular evenings and weekends in order to fit around college and/or work schedules for Young People who are engaged in Education, Employment or Training.

Respect is seeking two Helplines Advisors to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.
You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.
About you:
- An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
- An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse

JOB PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised operations professional to play a key role in strengthening the systems, processes and projects that will underpin our 10-year ambition. The Fundraising Operations Officer will help drive improvements in how the Fundraising team manages data, reporting and income tracking. The role supports the smooth running of Fundraising operations by improving and maintaining systems, processes and administrative functions, ensuring the global team runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a newly established role that will offer hands-on experience in project coordination, risk escalation and CRM management, and will support you to develop technical and strategic skills in an international fundraising environment. Working closely with teams across Lumos, you’ll be part of an ambitious, values-led organisation where collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Operational Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day Fundraising operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. GDPR and IATI, across all relevant jurisdictions
- When needed, coordinate process improvement initiatives that support Fundraising delivery and create efficiencies, ensuring they work alongside those already used within Lumos
- Manage back-office functions for recruitment, inductions of new starters in the Fundraising team, and management of contractors and other suppliers as appropriate
- Provide operational support for events, including managing guest lists, monitoring expenditure, helping with venue logistics and on-the-day activities
- Help maintain and improve internal systems and team documentation (e.g., on SharePoint)
- Support the drafting of Fundraising policies, procedures and systems used by the organisation
- Maintain records of Gift Aid declarations and support the quarterly claims process
Salesforce Administration
- Act as our day-to-day administrator for our Salesforce database
- Manage the process of recording and reporting on information from Salesforce, maintaining accurate donor and income data, and ensuring up-to-date and consistent record keeping
- Take the lead on running selections and reports to support fundraising activity
- As needed, provide basic training and guidance about Salesforce for the team
- Work with the Finance team to reconcile donations recorded on Salesforce with their records
Information Management
- Support the Director of Fundraising with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform key strategic decisions.
- Deliver accurate and timely income and activity reporting to key stakeholders, including the Chief Executive, Trustees and the Fundraising Committee and to share with external agencies such as the Fundraising Regulator.
- Maintain the risk register, ensuring it reflects activity and can be used as a tool by the Director of Fundraising and Chief Executive
Fundraising Support
- Provide administrative and coordination support for fundraising campaigns, appeals and events
- Assist with donor stewardship, including thank-you letters and donor communications
- Respond to enquiries via the Fundraising inbox, social media or post
- Support scheduling and coordination of Fundraising meetings and cross-team projects
- Collaborate across the organisation to ensure fundraising needs are integrated and aligned

About the Role
You will work with colleagues in the Diocesan Safeguarding Team (DST) to manage safeguarding casework and promote best safeguarding practice across the Diocese. About You

• Have significant experience of safeguarding casework with a statutory safeguarding agency, with substantial practice skills in the areas of safeguarding and protecting children and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the ability to translate this knowledge from the statutory to the non-statutory field, assisting volunteers with little or no safeguarding background to understand the issues and be confident in their practice.
• Show evidence of the ability to apply good safeguarding practise in a way that delivers positive outcomes for children and vulnerable adults.

Family Support Foster Carer
Overview
The family support foster carers (FSFCs) mentor their families and offer short breaks for children, offering stability and giving parents time to address their challenges with support. They provide feedback on their involvement with the families during review meetings.
The FSFCs could be experienced foster carers within the service who want to develop their skills and explore a new opportunity within fostering. Alternatively, they can be recruited specifically to this role in SUSD but must gain approval prior to commencing in the role. Is it imperative that the FSFCs have the skills and commitment to working with both parents and children as part of the SUSD programme. A role description for the FSFC is included in this pack.
Role and Responsibilities
The key aspects of the role are to
- provide weekly mentoring support for parents who are referred to SUSD. There is maximum caseload of 4 families at any one time.
- support the family to set and review goals, using our Person Centred Planning app.
- provide one planned short break each month for each referred child.
- offer crisis response support to families in the form of phone calls, visits or crisis short breaks.
- attend training provided by The Fostering Network & the Local Authority, enabling the FSFC to provide training and support to families.
- help with family activities, such as outings, family activities, summer schemes and residentials
The Family Support Foster Carer will be required to record details of the support provided, sharing with the supervising social worker as appropriate. During weeks that the FSFC has attend a review or support meeting for a family, they will not be required to complete another mentoring session with that family.
Working with parents and families
Families are referred to Step Up Step Down by their social worker. The scheme is voluntary, and families are empowered to decide whether they want the support. SUSD support has 4 primary aspects:
- mentoring for parents
- short breaks for children
- family activities
- community supports.
SUSD Mentoring Sessions are based upon areas of identified need. These are decided through the referral process and the initial planning meeting and are reviewed every three months throughout the duration of SUSD support. The key areas of support are: Routines, Budgeting, Healthy Living, Mental and Physical Wellbeing, Behaviour Management, Access to supports, Family Relationships, Dealing with Crisis Situations, Play and Stimulation.
The FSFC will also be required to give updates and share progress at review meetings. Information required will be:
- number of parent mentoring sessions since the previous SUSD review (including cancelations), and details of the work covered with the parent;
- number of short breaks since the previous review, and details of activities;
- any and all other support given to the family.
Support for the Family Support Foster Carer
Personal development and self-care is important, as we know that the best supporters are well supported themselves. There are several ways that SUSD will support the FSFCs.
- There will be regular supervision where they can discuss complex cases or raise any issues.
- FSFCs will be encouraged to attend training that will support them in the role, and to take an active role in identifying what this training should be.
- Quarterly carer support sessions are organised to enable the FSFCs & other SUSD team members to meet and learn from each other.
- FSFCs are also encouraged to form informal peer support networks.
Service: Children's Services
Salary: To receive a minimum allowance of £19,700, up to a maximum of £32,700 per annum

Jigsaw4u is a charity with a proud 27 year history in supporting mental health and wellbeing in South West London. We are seeking a support worker who shares our values and person-centred approach, and who is passionate about helping adult carers (those with caring responsibilities).

The role is 4 days (28 hours) per week. Full time (35 hours per week) may be available if required.
Role in Context
Jigsaw4u’s Carers Peer Support Service supports adult carers in the London Borough of Merton through emotional support and access to information, opportunities and practical advice.
Working alongside other VCSE peer support providers in the Borough, other carer organisations or providers of statutory carers work, the post holder will work on improving pathways and coordinating services for adult carers experiencing mental health issues, often as a direct result of caring. The post holder should have lived experience of being a carer, or of mental health challenges experienced by themselves or a close friend or family member
- Purpose of the job
Be responsible in the designated area for:
- Delivery of one-to-one and group peer support sessions designed for and by adult carers
- Collecting data and reporting on direct work delivered with adult carers
- Collaborative working with the Merton Peer Support Partnership
- Developing and enhancing relationships with strategic partners
- Maintaining and striving to improve service delivery standards and effectiveness
- Main duties
- Providing emotional and wellbeing support for carers through one-to-one, person-centred interventions
- Working flexibility to support carers aged 18 and over, who are caring for someone with mental health difficulties or experiencing mental health issues, often as a direct result of caring
- Empower and support carers to become involved in local Mental Health developments, particularly within SWLSTG
- Encourage and assist the uptake of Carers Assessments and the ability of carers and their families to assess their own needs to develop solutions and manage resources
- Assist carers in accessing opportunities for breaks from caring through activities within the partner organisations and external agencies
- Delivering time-limited, outcome-focused interventions to support personal outcomes so carers feel emotionally and practically supported
- Group-based support to address intended specific outcomes
- Encouraging access to local services to promote community inclusion and connectedness, enabling sustainable recovery and support
- Practical support to help carers access the right services and support based on needs, preferences, and the options available
- Evaluation of interventions provided through use of Outcomes Star and other
- agreed measurement tools
- To assist the Service Manager in creating monitoring reports
- To attend professional/monitoring meetings if required

The Role
We are looking for a Trust Fundraiser to maximise the charity’s income through the development and delivery of a trust and foundations strategy and pipeline, and by building meaningful and sustainable relationships with new and existing funders. Duties will include:

- Writing effective fundraising applications and reports for trust and statutory funders

You should be a confident communicator, with the ability to build relationships effectively, and develop long-lasting positive engagements. While experience working in trust fundraising would certainly be advantageous, we are also happy to speak with people looking to transition their creative writing skills into this interesting and rewarding area of fundraising!

The impact you will have
Leading Connection Support’s fundraising activities, you will generate income from existing sources and new income streams, and inspire funders, donors and local companies to support our work. Providing strategic direction combined with a hands-on role, you will lead on funding applications, plan and deliver campaigns and events, and develop lasting relationships with our supporters.

About you
