Role Overview:
We are searching for someone with excellent leadership skills to join us at our service in West London as Floating Support Team Manager. You will oversee our service that is based in Brent, including Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Kensington and Chelsea.
You will support our clients (caseload of up to 64 clients) who have slept rough or are sleeping rough, who have been supported by partners into their own tenancies. The aim of the service is to support clients to sustain their tenancies and:

- Develop and maintain the skills to live independently
- Manage finances including access to benefits and debt advice
- Access a range of services and community facilities to meet their needs, including health care, treatment, mental health support, advocacy, floating support, befriending and social and leisure activities
- Build on their individual strengths and assets to achieve the outcomes that matter to them in their move to independence and improve health and wellbeing.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the services deliver excellent and continuously improving project performance in line with the contracts for floating support in Southwark and Wandsworth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the service meets its contractual requirements
- Ensure staff undertake all activities and monitor performance
- Work with the Area Director to manage the team and deliver the service.
- Deal with clients who need help or advice, either by phone or on a drop-in basis.
- Monitor all support being provided to the clients, and provide direction where appropriate.

Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Complex Needs Worker to work in a complex needs service for women experiencing homelessness in south London. Due to a rise in female rough sleepers, and the need to safeguard the most vulnerable in society, a new female only rough sleeper service has been commissioned to provide support and ongoing casework to vulnerable women engaged at the service with the aim of rehousing clients into more independent accommodation. As a Youth Tech Abuse Lead you will provide specialist support to Refuge’s children support workers and frontline staff to ensure children, young people, and protective parents are using technology safely and positively in our refuges. You will increase understanding and awareness of your colleagues on tech-facilitated abuse and how to identify and respond to risks. Approximately 40% of the role focuses on working directly with children and young people and their parents in empowerment workshops, and 60% of the role will focus on capacity building and training frontline staff.

Aspire is the name of Romsey Mill’s project that supports autistic children and young people. We’re excited about further extending the work across Peterborough. You will work out of the office Romsey Mill rents at CSK Church in Hampton for 3-4 days per week. The young people we work with have become homeless for a number of reasons – isolation or mental health, abusive relationships, substance misuse, involvement in gangs/county lines - their issues are complex so you will need to be able to build strong, trusting relationships so that our customers feel safe and supported.
We are opening two new supported housing schemes in Lambeth, which will be Ofsted registered. Both schemes are part of our well-established Young Persons and Complex Needs service in London and will provide temporary housing for young people aged 16-17 who are experiencing homelessness.
A bit about the role:
As a Caseworker, you will be working with a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of young customers with complex needs. You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.
What we’re looking for:
You may have worked with vulnerable young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, maybe as a Youth Worker or in an education setting providing pastoral care. You’re a great relationship builder, who can create trust so that our young people feel comfortable sharing their issues with you, you listen but in a non-judgemental way and you are able to spot signs for concern and act on them. C4WS Welfare Coordinator Advert 2024:
C4WS Homeless Project (registered charity, no 1189622) which provides support to people experiencing homelessness year-round, through a well-established winter night shelter in Camden, a lunchtime club, Jobs Club, mentoring scheme, hosting scheme and various other activities. We are passionate about helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness and working towards living independently.
What We Do:
Every winter, we work with a number of churches in the London Borough of Camden who offer their venues to us to run a night shelter. We operate from a different venue every night of the week, and run one circuit, accommodating 16 guests.
We provide camp beds and offer a hot evening meal. Our guests leave in the morning after a hot breakfast, ready to attend activities and meetings in our offices in Euston.
Advice and Support
Whilst the shelter operates seasonally, every winter, our team works year round, dedicated to offering advice, advocacy and practical support. This can be accessed by former night shelter guests, and via our weekly drop in, Friday Club. Guests can also access other services provided by C4WS including lunch, laundry and showers.
The Role:
Our small, dedicated team is looking for a Welfare Coordinator, to deliver holistic welfare support to all those who access our services. You will work alongside another member of the team to ensure that guests are supported both during and after their stay in the C4WS night shelter to ensure the stability of their move on.
You will possess a passion for working in the homeless sector, supporting those experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives and ideally have direct and relevant experience of working with this demographic, or similarly vulnerable and/or disadvantaged groups.
As well as providing Welfare Support, you will also be a presence at the shelter for up to two evenings a week during the shelter season (November – March) including weekends, and you will need to lead a team of volunteers to ensure the safe running of the shelter on those occasions.

• Organise and deliver outreach to reach and engage BME organisations and be informed by them on needs and issues.
• Organise roadshows and other events to engage and consult with BME organisations on particular issues and themes that emerge from outreach and consultation.

• Liaise with external agencies and service providers to help broker increased inclusion of BME organisations.

Education and Experience
· Knowledge of the issues and barriers faced by BME organisations and community groups
· Knowledge of individual BME organisational development needs and ability to add to this through consultation
· Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of equality and diversity
· Ability to analyse, synthesise and communicate complex issues in a clear manner
· Ability to plan and deliver training sessions
· Ability to aid capacity building and resilience by developing tools and templates suitable for groups at different stages of development
· Experience in roles involving stakeholder engagement and partnership building
· Experience of relevant infrastructure or development work (desirable)
· Experience of project and budget management (desirable)
· Knowledge of charity law and guidance (desirable)

Director of Small Charity
Are you passionate about building community strength and resilience? Interested in managing a small charity with big ambitions?
We are looking for community-focused person, with vision, skills and enthusiasm to become the first Director of our small charity and help to deliver our ambitious plans. Our Roehampton is a registered charitable company that is embarking on an exciting period of development to establish itself as a community-led anchor organisation for Roehampton in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
You could be someone who’s managed a community organisation before or has experience of managing projects in a community setting and now wants to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will have proven community development and engagement skills as well as be able to work strategically to lead and support the development of the charity; you will be equally comfortable supporting a group of residents with ideas for a new activity, hosting a meeting of the Roehampton Network and liaising with local authority or health partners on strategic matters. You will have experience of staff and/or volunteer management and have the organisational skills to ensure Our Roehampton runs as a safe, legally compliant organisation. You’ll have a track record of embedding equality, diversity and inclusion understanding into your work.
Given Our Roehampton is a place-based anchor organisation, we are looking for someone willing to work locally most of the time so you can really understand the area and develop strong relationships.
