We are looking for a Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.

Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.

Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with the NT’s database, Tessitura, and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way. This is a key senior role within the Fundraising Directorate, collaborating closely with the Senior Corporate Manager – New Business the Fundraising Leadership Team to grow income and awareness from corporate sources.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave. 

The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team.  They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.

The role of HR Manager will review all recruitment processes and practices to ensure all vacancies are filled in the most cost efficient way and within the shortest time possible. The HR function will be responsible for identifying effective and appropriate recruitment methods for all vacancies. 
 
Employee Relations 
 

• Taking a lead whilst advising and supporting managers on all Employee Relations issues, including performance management; sickness & absence; disciplinary & grievance procedures. 
   

• Ensuring the grievance and disciplinary procedures are adhered to by all staff and to empower the Operations Team to undertake investigations & hearings.  
   

• Experience of reviewing current practices and where needed looking at standardized practices.   
   

• Reviewing and updating the equality and diversity strategy, making recommendations on best practice and legislation. 
   

• To monitor staff turnover and ensuring that exit interviews are carried out, analysing and reporting on findings. 
   

Management Responsibility 
 
As the HR lead, you will ensure the HR department is always customer focused, delivering a good service to the organisation and pro-actively driving forward the people management strategy. You will also attend management meetings where strategic and higher-level operational input are required. 
 
Staff Training & Development 
 
Collaborate with senior managers to identify and develop staff training needs and where possible implement effective training programs.

HR Policy & Procedures 
 
To ensure terms and conditions and policies and procedures are up-to-date and comprehensive with regard to legislation and best practice. 

Other key areas of focus include: 

• Manage employee reward and wellness program, as well as looking at ways to add more initiatives.

• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values. 

• Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and best practices. 

• Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity 

• Review and manage the performance management plan. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

• Experience managing HR functions across multiple businesses is preferred. 

• CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors (London) - £29,000  per annum plus London Weighting (pro-rata)

Here at One Million Mentors, our aim is to ensure that every young person in the country has access to a trained mentor as they transition into adulthood. We believe that investing in mentors will help to address the skills gap agenda and improve social cohesion.

This is one of two Regional Manager roles in London; a Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors, and Regional Manager for Programme Delivery.

The Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors focuses on mentor supply, securing sufficient volunteers primarily for London and also for 1MM’s national outreach. The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond.  This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

• Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

• Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

• Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

• Providing ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Employers, and maintaining strong relationships.

• Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

• Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

• Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

• Potential for line-management responsibilities as the team grows.

Terms and Conditions: This is a full time role offered in London, for 6 months (continuing subject to funding). This is a hybrid role with two days working at home, two days in the London office, and one day where it is up to you.

Remuneration and benefits: Salary bracket of £29,000 per annum plus London Weighting (pro rata), up to 6.5% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday per year (pro rata).  We also offer monthly team Learning and Development training sessions, and 15 hours volunteering allowance per year.
