The role:

Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, attend and execute a range of charity programmes and events.
- Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiations, transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements.
- Agenda and room allocations
- Liaise effectively with various vendors and service providers.
- Develop and manage budgets, providing financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Evaluate programme and event success through feedback collection and analysis, making necessary recommendations for improvements.

Ensure all events are compliant with relevant standards and other regulations.

The role
This role will develop, co-ordinate and deliver a range of networks and forums that strengthen the partnerships between the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) groups and organisations and the public sector. Building on Action Together’s current work this role will be key to developing our approaches to networks and forums, voice and influence and collaboration across the VCFSE.

Carers Manchester South (CMS) brings together three organisations: Manchester Carers Forum, Lifted and Together Dementia Support. The work of the team is focussed specifically on South Manchester. Forming one team made up of partner organisations allows members of the team to each bring their own skills, experience, knowledge and passion to work together to put the quality of life of carers at the heart of what they do. The Operations Volunteering Experience Coordinator helps people with sight loss live the life they choose by ensuring volunteers in Operations-based roles are set up for success by preparing and training them for their role. Once in their role, they will support a positive volunteering experience by working to retain, further utilize and develop our volunteers in their role and wider into the Guide Dog family and community. Without our volunteers, none of our services would be possible.
We currently have 2 roles available one would work across the two teams in Sheffield & Notthingham; and the other to work across the two teams in Atherton & Liverpool. A typical fortnight would include days working from the office, days in the community, and some home working. The role holder will manage the time and location of their working days.

The Social Enterprise Schools programme – part of the Social Enterprise Academy – is an extra-curricular programme which inspires young people (aged 5-18) to become social entrepreneurs. You will be joining the team at an exciting time. Initially launched in Scotland in 2007 the Social Enterprise Schools programme has now worked with over 1200 schools across the UK and this figure is set to grow.
Your role will be to support the Education Teams to provide administrative, clerical and logistical support for the roll out of Social Enterprise Schools across the UK. The role is mainly internal facing – providing support to Schools Coordinators, Education Managers and Education Facilitators across a range of functions. You will also work with schools and teachers to ensure the smooth running of Workshops, and national and regional events.
Work closely with the Education Managers and School Coordinators across the UK you will provide administrative support based on the activity requirements across the UK.
