Summary

The National Safeguarding Team supports churches, dioceses, religious communities, cathedrals and other Church bodies to make the Church of England a safer Church for all. It aspires to be a centre of excellence for safeguarding that creates a consistent culture of safety, trust and respect across the Church and beyond. The team is responsible for oversight of the Church's safeguarding policy, as well as safeguarding learning and development. The team manage complex and high-profile safeguarding casework, including that relating to senior clergy. Team members oversee the provision of support to victims and survivors of abuse, as well as supervising and quality assuring regional networks of safeguarding professionals. The team is supported by a Programme Office and a highly skilled business support team.

The purpose of this role is to support the Contract Management team to provide oversight, management and reporting and manage supplier relationships for all supplier contracts in the National Safeguarding Team.

• The postholder will be expected to come into Church House Westminster approximately 1 day per week
• A Basic DBS will be undertaken as part of the pre-employment checks
• This is a fixed term contract for 5 years

• A salary of £40,572 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

This is an exciting opportunity to join DARO as Donor Experience Manager, helping to shape and deliver outstanding donor journeys for multiple audiences. In this role, you’ll play a key part in deepening relationships with our donors and volunteers, ensuring that their experience of supporting beneficiaries is meaningful, personal and impactful.

You will lead on the planning and delivery of our donor experience programme, from tailored communications and impact reports to stewardship and cultivation events, campus visits and administration of our Recognition Circles. This role sits in the Fundraising team within the Development and Alumni Relations Office.

The Role:

• Responsible to the Housing Manager for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service to ex-service personnel and their dependents.
• To provide an effective and responsive housing management service for a patch of Stoll properties, meeting agreed performance outcomes and objectives for key
  areas, including rent arrears, lettings and anti-social behaviour

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact in relation to housing applicants, ensuring that all data is recorded accurately on the housing database, and the waiting list is
  managed efficiently.
• Take part in the Allocations process, working with the other members of the Housing team to ensure that all voids on the patch are efficiently allocated and that let targets are met.
• Undertake viewings, sign-ups and new tenant visits, working in partnership with the Support team to ensure new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are fully supported through the process in order to successfully sustain their tenancies.
• Investigate and make recommendations on the suitability of applications for transfers and mutual exchanges in accordance with established procedures.
• Carry out void inspections in the absence of the Property Services Manager and, where appropriate, arrange the appropriate void remedial work

Specific Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of lettings and allocations, rent collection and arrears management, repairs and maintenance, tenancy disputes and anti-social behaviour policie and procedures and their application
• Understanding of the legal framework and regulatory context in which Stoll operates and the role of local authorities and Registered Providers in providing housing services
• Experience/knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community, especially those Veterans with support needs.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent – minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
• Working knowledge of housing legislation, including tenancy enforcement, debtrecovery, and anti-social behaviour.
• Working knowledge of welfare benefits, especially Housing Benefit.

The Governance Assurance Administrator role supports St Giles Hospice Group and non-clinical governance with vital administrative tasks. The role is pivotal in ensuring and maintaining high standards of operational governance.

You will provide administrative and coordination support for the governance processes to ensure the effectiveness of the operational governance framework.

The Administrative Officer role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to help scale up the organisation’s work, building on the successes of the last decade, and to help the most climate-vulnerable countries make up their own minds about SRM. 

Joining a growing team, the Administrative Officer will support the Policy Engagement and Programmes teams through the provision of administrative services to ensure the efficient organisation of, execution of, and participation in events. Secondarily, the Officer will provide general administrative support to the Policy Engagement team. 

The Administrative Officer will work under the supervision of the Policy Engagement Director, while supporting the Policy Engagement Managers and the Programmes team. Responsibilities will include: 

• Arranging travel, lodging and other travel logistics for Degrees staff, funded scientists, policymakers, and other external participants; 
• Managing the policy engagement events budgets;
• Arranging meeting facilities; 
• Facilitating requests for visas and other travel authorisations; 
• Serving as a point of contact for external event participants’ queries about travel and events;

About The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the service complies with contract requirements and meets KPIs.  Your focus will be to providing administrative and office support to ensure the most effective delivery of Helpline Plus telephone casework services and undertaking administrative projects to improve systems and practice for the benefit of staff and clients. You will also input data on our CRM system and have extensive telephone contact with clients, so good verbal communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.

About You

You will have considerable experience in a client/customer service role and experience in handling incoming calls and making outbound calls to clients and partner organisations.  You also have fast accurate keyboard skills and experience of using a range of IT tools including case management systems and databases and Microsoft Office applications, along with experience of administrative systems and office management.

About The Team

Helpline Plus telephone Casework team is a team of experienced specialist housing and debt advisers. We have four teams of advisers based in Shelter’s Sheffield office. We work with multiple external referral partner organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Helpline Plus provides legal advice and casework to enforce the rights of homeless people and assists those facing possession action or orders for sale to remain in their homes. We negotiate with councils, lenders and landlords to try to prevent court action.

Due to the nature of the service we can provide prompt access and may take on emergency cases, in particular to people who are beyond the reach of face to face services.

Founded in 1991, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) is a non-profit organisation that works with independent media and civil society to promote positive change in areas of crisis and conflict. THE ROLE 

The Development Manager will proactively develop programme ideas into winnable proposals and progress income from institutional donors as well as trusts and foundations. Reporting to the Global Development Director, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with the relevant experience, skills and relationships to develop a portfolio of prospects and grantmakers. You will work as part of a collaborative and friendly development team and work closely with programmes to develop new ideas and applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new ideas for business development and submit to institutional and/or trusts & foundations as appropriate
• To work with programme teams to submit timely proposals in response to calls including proposal development and coordinating the proposal administration process
• Work closely with the programme teams to identify and respond to new opportunities for their portfolios and develop existing relationships in collaboration with IWPR programmes
• Contribute to the development team and overall organisational income targets
• Develop strategies for engaging new prospective donors – including foundations - through research
• Gather and share information on new potential funding and/or themes and contribute to the intelligence and MEL functions of IWPR with donor information and competitor mapping
• To contribute to the overall strategic development of the team including the MEL and networking functions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• At least 4 years of experience working in a similar role
• Significant and demonstrable experience of securing income from institutional donors, trusts and foundations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• High quality verbal and written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a desire to collaborate effectively with peers

We’re looking for a proactive and professional Events and Administration Officer to play a central role in the delivery of our events programme and in keeping our busy office running smoothly. What you’ll be doing

As our Events and Admin Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Events: Helping to plan and deliver a wide range of events – from breakfast briefings and online panel discussions to gala dinners – ensuring every detail runs smoothly. This will include liaising with suppliers, venues, speakers, and sponsors; coordinating catering and logistics; supporting event promotion; and overseeing attendee communications and requirements.
• CRM & Data: Acting as a Hubspot ‘super-user’, ensuring our CRM is effectively maintained to manage stakeholders, track engagement, and support compliance.
• Meetings: Coordinating internal and external meetings, including diary management for the senior team and producing accurate records.
• Enquiries: Serving as the first point of contact for shared inboxes, responding and redirecting queries efficiently.
• Office & Admin: Supporting office operations, liaising with landlords and suppliers, assisting with finance queries, and ensuring our day-to-day administration runs seamlessly.
• Projects: Assisting with proposition development and project delivery, keeping accurate records and chasing actions.
• General: Providing all-round support to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Educated to at least A-Level (or equivalent) with an administrative or operational focus.
• Professional, approachable, and confident in communicating with people at all levels.
• Experienced in event management and administration.
• Skilled in budget tracking, on-the-day event management, and post-event reporting.
• Organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with CRM and e-marketing platforms (ideally Hubspot).
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Aligned with our collaborative culture and values.

It would be great if you also bring:

• Familiarity with platforms like Zoom, Eventbrite, and Ticket Tailor.
• Experience using professional social media (particularly LinkedIn) for events and communications.

We are the largest sexual violence support provider in Wales, with 30 years’ experience of delivering specialist therapeutic support to adults and children affected by the trauma of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

To provide support to the Head of Corporate Services in developing, monitoring and maintaining systems to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation and to support the fulfilment of the Charity’s aims and objectives.  

GENERAL

• The post holder will embody New Pathways’ ethos and values and will model appropriate behaviours at all times and in all areas of responsibility.
• Commit to a continuous improvement culture and be prepared to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and extent of the post.
• Ensure CPD by attending relevant training and workshops as required.

MAIN TASKS AND DUTIES:

• Completing HR administration and support.

• Support in the process of achieving and maintaining external Quality Standards.

• Contribute to the organisation of external and internal events.

• Maintaining staff training records and directing staff to compulsory training courses.

• Developing and maintaining processes and system for effective recruitment.

• Maintaining systems including Disclosure Services, Ihasco, BusinessSafe etc.

• To undertake relevant training as required.

• Undertaking any other reasonable task not outlined in this job description but which will assist the aims and objectives of New Pathways.
