Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Many young people who come to us have significant mental health difficulties and have faced barriers to services. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care.

The Digital Inclusion Worker will be responsible for providing targeted one-to-one digital support and delivering workshops to both disabled and non-disabled residents of Enfield, helping them to improve their digital skills. We are looking for someone to join our Young People Learning team to support the coordination of our programmes for young people across England and Wales.

We are looking for someone with a passion for empowering young people and understanding of school’s curricula in England and Wales to coordinate.  Your role ensures that operational delivery plans are implemented in your defined area, meeting all targets and KPIs.  There is a significant external remit, and you will be expected to pro-actively manage relationships with schools and Local Authorities, to support schools as they participate in our programmes.

About the Role

As our Trust and Statutory Fundraiser, you’ll lead our statutory fundraising programme, focusing on government funding and the lottery, while also supporting large trust funding applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of funders and overseeing grant management.

• Researching and developing statutory funding sources.

• Crafting compelling cases for support to secure winning bids.

• Building relationships with funders and internal teams.

• Collaborating on impactful projects and providing timely, high-quality reporting.

A large part of this role is leading on our funding for work in prisons, managing a portfolio of over £1,000,000 across the UK and Ireland.

About the role:

Imperial College London is seeking a dynamic and strategic fundraising leader to join our Advancement Division as Deputy Director of Development (Trusts, Foundations & Corporates). This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of a high-impact fundraising strategy, aligning with Imperial’s ambitious new campaign, Science for Humanity. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of philanthropy at one of the world’s leading universities.

What you would be doing:

• Leading the strategy and delivery of philanthropic income from Trusts, Foundations, and Corporates in the UK and globally.
• Cultivating and stewarding high-value relationships with institutional funders, aligning their interests with Imperial’s strategic priorities.
• Driving fundraising for entrepreneurship initiatives including the Enterprise Lab, Advanced Hackspace, and White City Incubator.
• Collaborating with senior academics and administrative leaders to develop compelling funding proposals for complex, multi-year projects.
• Managing and mentoring a high-performing team, setting ambitious goals and supporting their professional growth.
• Contributing to the wider university fundraising strategy and campaign planning.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a visionary and experienced fundraiser who can:

• Demonstrate a strong track record of securing major gifts (seven and ideally eight figures) from Trusts, Foundations, and Corporates.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels.
• Extensive senior-level fundraising experience.
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and relationship management.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeper or accountant to join our friendly team, help manage our financial records efficiently and support day-to-day financial administration.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable freelance bookkeeper or accountant to join our extended team and help keep our finances running smoothly. You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role, working with the Senior Finance Manager to support our charity’s sustainability and activities. Student Minds is a medium sized charity (turnover approx £1m and 27 staff) and we need to make every penny work to support our student communities.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with purpose-led organisations, and who values flexibility, collaborative working and community impact.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

• Process accounts payable and receivable.

• Support the invoicing process.

• Reconcile bank accounts, control accounts and company payment cards.

• Reconcile income reports.

• Prepare draft monthly management accounts.

• Prepare financial reports.

• Manage routine credit control.

• Manage the central finance email inbox.

• Ensure financial data integrity and confidentiality.

What We’re Looking For - Minimum Criteria

• Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, ideally with charities or community organisations

• Proficiency and experience in Xero accounting software.

• AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and tax procedures.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, with advanced knowledge of Excel

• Grade C and above / Grade 5 and above in GCSE Maths or equivalent.

• Excellent communication skills.
