Job description

We are seeking a giving administrator to work with the giving lead to implement the team’s fundraising strategy, focusing on major donor, events, appeals, trusts and legacy fundraising.

Tasks will include handling correspondence with existing and potential key funders, maintaining the major donors and trusts records and assisting the giving lead with planning, managing and delivering legacy and other ad hoc fundraising events. In addition the role will include the design and management of the production and distribution of compelling direct mail appeals to members.

The giving administrator will play a key part in enabling the Evangelical Alliance to fulfil its vision – to make Jesus known by uniting the church in mission and voice.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Exceptional organisational and relational skills

• Previous experience of fundraising, project management or administration

• The ability to use initiative and take responsibility for tasks

• Positive team-working attitude
